Hosted a wedding at Westwood Food was cold because Amanda the so-called manager forgot to tell chef that serving time was moved up a 1/2 hour but she didn't forget to CHARGE US for...
the extra half hour! Chicken so tough you couldn't cut it let alone chew it. Paid $212 for veggie appetizers that turned out to be an EMBARRASSMENT, looked like it cost them about $10 to make up. It was a small tray on this huge table, I was truly embarrassed! Bought the bar package at $20 a person and the bartender was away from the bar about 75% of the time. Not her fault though she had to : set up food, clear dishes, cut and serve cake, clear dishes again, and clean the bathroom! At any given time there were 6 or 7 of my guests waiting at the bar to get a drink. I guess that's how they save money on liquor. Complained to manager Amanda and got a big run around (Voice mail, "she's not in today. "We don't know her schedule!'). They are very nice UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MONEY THEN THEY ARE DONE WITH YOU. Think twice about having your event there. You'll be doing yourself a big favor and save yourself some heartache

ways felt comfortable when dealing with her; and she did a great job coordinating with all of our other vendors to make it really quite effortless for us. On the day of our wedding the staff at Westwood was wonderful, they were professional, yet personable. Our guests raved about the wonderful waitstaff, busboys and bartenders. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to have their reception. My only complaint would be that in the months leading up to the wedding it could be difficult to communicate with Amanda, sometimes phone calls and emails would require a few follow-ups to get a response, however, in fairness I work in a hospital, do not have a desk job at which I can sit and wait for phone calls. the venue at all, I called to find out Vicki had left. I was irritated the new manager never contacted me. Turns out she is not a people person at all. Every time I called her for questions she acted like I was bothering her. She was no help at all. She didn't stay for more than an hour after our wedding started. The service was OK. Guests told us they were taking their drinks, food, etc. before they were done with them. They lost my throw away bouquet. My camera was stolen when we were cleaning up. They also lost a bathroom basket and picture frame we had brought. We did have fun and put all the crap behind us, but I would not recommend this venue at all.
