First things first, if accessibility is an issue, Westwood isn't the place for you. They put in the same sound system as the Palladium but there's no elevator to the bridal suite s...o you'll either have to rent Henry's (not set up for bridal parties, makeup, hair, etc) or have limited space to get ready downstairs, I guess? Our groomsmen had to carry my Aunt up the stairs to me to get ready. So, if anyone is handicap in your wedding party or that is a special guest that you will want in the bridal suite, good luck!
The overcharging is quite obvious and can be seen on their social media. Their "Grand Opening" they made BOOKED couples pay $25 and then park in a baseball field and shuttle in (which they didn't inform us of until day of) or you could pay $75 and get VIP parking up-front. That tended to be the friends and family of the owners. Is that backwards to anyone else?! And if you were handicap, once again, you'll have to figure out how to navigate on your own since they didn't mention the parking issues until 4 hours before.
And then there's the constant changing of the owner She changed no less than 3 times at the Grand Opening and who knows how many times she does at her other parties she constantly has?! All that tells me is that we're overpaying BIG TIME.
They brag they're booked out for years but have these parties to get their name out? That doesn't match up.
They also charge $300 for DJs to plug in to their sound system and they charge for coat check attendants at the rate of $125/hour.
The space and grounds are beautiful but don't forget, you're decorating around 18K sq ft. That doesn't come cheap - as a bride who was married there June 2026, I can assure you of that - and you'll get no breaks from Westwood, that's for sure.
I get that they're new but Management should not be Management as they create one bad look for themselves after another and vendors talk. I wouldn't recommend Westwood to anyone. Had we known there wouldn't be an elevator, we wouldn't have booked, either. Knowing a sound system is more important than an elevator for handicap grandparents, parents, kids, brides, wedding party, etc, tells me all I need to know about this business.
