We knew from EA’s website that he was a talented and experienced photographer. However we were not prepared for how impressed we would be with the photos he delivered! We only had to speak with him on the phone once before we decided to book him for our wedding. We could see that his visual skill, use of depth of field, and unique angles coupled well with his eye for wonderful candid moments. He brought all of this and more to our wedding day to tell a beautiful and artistic story. Although we did not get the chance to meet EA in person before the wedding day, his kindness, confidence, and laid back personality immediately put everyone at ease. Rather than emanating stress during the family photos (when no one is where they should be and everyone is jumping in with iPhone cameras) EA was calm and used that time to capture amazing candid interactions. Throughout the evening EA was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. We were impressed with how many different angles and events turned up in our photographs. He was down on the floor at eye level with the children dancing; he was above the entire wedding scene overlooking the bluff at Sun Mountain Lodge. He even returned to the lodge (unpaid) after already having left to steal us away from the party once the night stars were out. His impulse, on seeing how beautiful the sky was, turned into one of the most amazing photographs I have ever scene. The Northern Lights, not yet visible to the naked eye, were streaming over the hills in his 30-second exposure. We knew at that moment how passionate EA was about his work. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend EA to anyone getting married in the Methow Valley or beyond. Thank you for your amazing work!!
