Fun DJ, really helped make sure the wedding stayed on track. Our guests had a great time!

I've been trying to contact them to reschedule our service due to the covid 19 situation. We have no venue, no dress, no suit, no flowers, no food, and our guests can't come. After waiting a month, I got a canned response. Been trying daily to get ahold of someone to talk to. No one is calling me back. I think they are holding the deposit and not going to fulfill their job. It's a disappointment as they came recommended and were fine in communication up until this point. Now I feel exploited and that they are being shady.. would love a new interaction and a charge of Perception. But they won't call me back. So heartbreaking as this deposit comes from my parents. We didn't want a wedding but were given money so our parents could see us be married. We didn't anticipate moving our date and held on as long as we could. But with literally nothing but a shady DJ, what else did we have to do?

We rented a basic sound system for our small wedding to run background music from our ipod. The staff we’re super helpful and knowledgeable. They got us the right equipment without any pressure to “upsale”. Super easy and friendly to work with. Will use them again if future need arises.

Jack was amazing!! I told Jack what we were looking for during the ceremony & reception & he took care of the rest! It was extremely helpful that he knew the setup at Semiahmoo Resort as well because we didn't have to worry about how to ensure that our guests could hear the ceremony on the dock since he was set up inside. During the reception, the dance floor was never empty & at the end of the night, no one wanted to leave. Thank you so much for making our day a memorable one!!

Whatcom Sound was awesome to work with! The whole crew has a great reputation in the area and we now understand why. JT had our guests dancing until the very end (and asking for more)! I wouldn't recommend anyone else, thanks Whatcom Sound!

Whatcom Sound is amazing! I got married on an extremely stormy October day and my wedding planner did not show up, so I was panicked. Jack was working my wedding and he took control and made sure everything ran smoothly. My guests didn't even notice that my planner wasn't there!

The JT the DJ was awesome!! he kept us on schedule for the entire day and evening! I would refer all of my friends and family to him when they need a DJ.

Forgive me I can't remember if it was TJ or JT but he was an amazing DJ. Super friendly and outgoing. He came in hours before our reception and set up a bunch of can lights, and provided lights for our center pieces. He planned out the timing for our entrance, first dance, cake cutting, speeches. He was great. Worth every penny

I met JT almost a year and a half before the wedding, he was working an event at my work and he was doing a fantastic job. My fiance and I ended up booking him before we had even booked our venue and it was hands down the easiest (and best) decision of wedding planning. I was concerned with us booking so far out that our reservation would get lost and we would be scrambling at the last minute and that was never the case. We kept in touch via email on and off between booking in 2/12 and our wedding in 7/13 and met with him a few weeks before the wedding to finalize everything. The meeting was easy and fun and he had great ideas for music for our cocktail hour. At the wedding he kept everyone out on the dance floor and played just about every genre imaginable and was perfect for our very eclectic wedding guests. He also setup colored lights behind some pipe and drape behind the head table, which looked amazing during the reception. My husband's very particular grandfather was still complementing his work days after the event. You will not regret your decision to book JT and Whatcom Sound for your wedding, they are a fantastic bunch to work with and will be the easiest decision of your wedding planning! Whatcom Sound did a great job at the wedding, very happy. Only con is they are a little on the expensive side, as well as a little flaky on certain aspects of their operations.
