Leading up to the day, we had a few *surprises* pop up, but she handled everything seamlessly. On the day of, she was amazing! She worked on a ton of the decorations, which looked beautiful. She managed the timeline, made sure everyone was where they needed to be, and just having her there made us feel less stressed! We got so many comments on how beautiful the wedding was and how smoothly everything flowed! Heather was professional, responsive, supportive, and so organized. You definitely want the most stress-free, fun day for your wedding- do yourself a huge favor and hire Heather. You won't regret it!

She met with us several times to get a full sense of what our preferences were and then used that information to coordinate with everyone on our vendor team. She even became intimately familiar with the contract details in order to be able to effectively manage the details in order to support us, and our vendors. On the day of, she handled incidents behind the scenes, so we didn't have to he bothered. She commanded attention and was able to keep our wedding on track and flowing seamlessly. She knew that I was a little wary about decor (I'm just not very creative in that way!), so she went out of her way to send suggestions and then took what we had and decorated the room beautifully. We can't speak highly enough about our experience and HIGHLY recommend Heather with When Hearts Unite! This is probably the best money we spent out of our wedding budget!

dgeable, and helpful with looking over contracts. She was a great mediator for family drama, and I could tell she always wanted to have my back. She was on top of answering questions, and did her research to make sure she was giving accurate information. If I were to do my wedding over again, I would have spent a little more money to hire a team of people instead of just one individual planner. Having a larger wedding of 135 people, and a spread out venue was too much for one person. Heather had to miss multiple meetings due to childcare issues, sickness, rain, and more. She cancelled last minute on our Rehearsal Dinner, and also did not do a run through of the ceremony the day of the wedding like it stated in our day-of timeline. Because of that, our wedding party didn't have practice before the ceremony. It was embarrassing and hectic for my aunt and sister to have to step in and try to tell the wedding party where to go, and what to do moments before walking out in front of our closest family and friends. There were things that Heather promised to do that she fell short on. At our meetings with the photographers prior to the wedding she promised she would be there to direct family members where to go during Family Portraits at Cocktail Hour. She didn't show up until the last few minutes. She also offered and promised that she would check into our hotel room for me and my husband, take our bags, and leave some food for us there. She even offered to plug our phone chargers in so they were ready to go. None of this happened. My husband and I ended up having to wait at the front desk for an hour after our reception was over until someone came to help us. We were exhausted and frustrated at the lack of communication. If we had known we weren't checked in we could have had someone else help us. My family tried to shield me from the chaos going on the day of the wedding, but afterwards they mentioned just how much they had to run around to try to do the things that were missed or forgotten. I think Heather is a great person, and she would be wonderful for smaller weddings, but I think she took on too much for one person at my wedding.

with our vendors to renegotiate, reschedule, and cancel contracts (we didn't lose any money with Heather's help), and re-envision what our ceremony could look like during the pandemic. She was in tough with us very regularly through text and even and always responded on the same day. Her organization was excellent! Heather also took on the majority of our decorating within the church for the ceremony. She has a wonderful eye for design and an even better work ethic. Heather did everything in her power to make our wedding beautiful and memorable even in tough circumstances. We have already hired her again to help us with our "Reception" when it's safe to have a party again.
