Based in Akron, OH, Whimsical Blossoms Floral is a wedding and event florist that creates custom arrangements that suit your event vision and design. We will travel within an hour of Akron to you. We also offer floral pick-ups if this works better for our clients. We are creative and organized and respond in a timely manner. We enjoy hearing detailed plans for our clients' special days, but we can also help brainstorm some ideas if they are needed. All of our clients are special to us, which is what makes this florist job so fun!

Hi! I’m Abbey! Making floral dreams and visions come true is my passion. In my past, I taught Kindergarten for 9.5 years. (I know...you are probably wondering how I ended up here!) The truth is, I have always been creative and loved working with florals. I started this business while I was teaching and when I left the education world, I went all in full force! Now I specialize in weddings and events, and my passion for creativity is back! I hope to meet you. This is such a special job and engaging with brides is one of my absolute favorite parts about it!

What an absolute sweetheart she is! I love Abbey, and I recommend her and her services 100%. She is so professional and SWEET! She pulled everything together when she delivered the florals and I can not thank her enough for how beautiful they were! This is someone who TRULY loves what they do and it shows in their work. My flowers were gorgeous! Abbey from whimsical took my vision to the next level. I loved Abbey from our first meeting .. she is so sweet, helpful, professional, fun, and talented! I could nothave been happier with everything she did … the only thing that would have made it better would have been if I could have tripled my flower budget!!!! I brought as many arrangements home for our brunch the next day and they lasted several more days… I wish they could have lasted forever! Hire Abbey/Whimsical! You will not be disappointed!

Abbey was an amazing florist for my wedding! I wanted something that looked organic and like a bundle of wildflowers, and she created the most gorgeous flower arrangements. They were playful, wild, and impeccable. Abbey was also great to work with- she was quick, responsive, and kind in all of my interactions with her. What a great find!

I cannot thank Abbey enough for her wonderful hard work and talent that she used to create my dream wedding floral vision. She went above and beyond, listened to exactly what I wanted and also gave me spectacular ideas when I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted, and she knew how to give me simple but elegant. She is passionate, so sweet, and overall a genuinely amazing human being! Whimsical Blossoms are the way to go, as she created magical springtime vibes for my bridal party, family members, and centerpieces at the reception. You better scoop her up, she is the absolute best!

I could not recommend Abbey at Whimsical Blossoms Floral more! From the very beginning of getting a quote from her all the way to the day of the wedding, she made everything SO easy and stress free as possible. She is incredibly organized and always available when you need her. On top of it all, her work is absolutely beautiful! She delivered exactly what I was envisioning for our day at the highest quality. She made sure that our florals were at the venue bright and early the day of the wedding and placed the florals just as I wanted them. When it came to dealing with anything coordination wise with both venues, Abbey totally took that stress off my shoulders and made those contacts herself. Abbey truly became more like a friend during planning than just another wedding vendor. Whenever I needed help with some decor wise that was not even floral related, I was able to reach out to Abbey and she gladly helped me. I couldn’t recommend someone more than Abbey for all your floral needs for your big day!

I don’t even know where to start with this review…Abbey was SO amazing every single step of the way! We met up at a coffee shop to go over details and the second I met her, I knew I wanted to work with her! I’m so thankful I went with my gut because she’s amazing! As my wedding got closer, Covid hit and we decided to postpone. She didn’t even hesitate and moved my date no questions asked. With another year to plan, I changed my mind about a hundred times but she was always so patient with me and supported my ideas. I was pretty bummed about postponing but she would text me to check in on me and really made me feel like she genuinely cared. Anytime I changed something, she was very prompt with updating our contract so that I never was waiting. She allowed me to do payments over the planning period to make it more affordable for me. The week of my wedding, she was on top of things! She became more like a supportive friend than a florist and was available for anything I needed! Let me tell you, she is the BEST hype woman! She always had something reassuring to say and helped calmed my nerves many times! She will have your back from the beginning to the end! The day of the wedding she drove all the way out to my venue (almost 45 minutes!) and set everything up beautifully! I was so blown away by my bouquets, the girls bouquets, all the corsages and boutonnières, make cake flowers, my table greenery and the petals for my aisle. It was a lot to do but Abbey is organized and efficient! It was everything I wanted and more! I wanted simple but beautiful and my gosh, she delivered!! Abbey I don’t know if there will ever be enough words to thank you for all that you did for us. Your work is flawless and you are one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met! I can’t wait to see where your business takes you! ❤️

Whimsical Blossoms Floral did not disappoint one bit for our wedding day! Abbey went above and beyond to incorporate Disney touches to each boutonniere and bridal bouquet. She also took my moms artificial wedding flowers and put them into my bouquet, as well as hung a charm of her picture. It felt like I had a huge part of my mom there with me on my wedding day. Abbey is quick to respond, and will everything in her power to make your special day magical- because that’s what she did for me!

I had an idea of what I wanted my flowers to be and Abbey helped bring that to life!!! She even suggested easy flower girl rings, which I never would have thought of, and “slap bracelets” for the corsages! Such neat ideas!! I loved my flowers and they lasted much longer after my wedding!! I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

There are truly not enough words to describe how my experience was with Abbey/Whimsical Blossoms. With how crazy wedding planning is this year, so many vendors treat people as a number. Not Abbey. She has so many other brides she’s working with, but you still get such a personal experience. Like you’re the only wedding in that moment! Her attention to detail, her energy, her care and compassion…. It can’t be beat! She gave me so many ideas for my wedding outside of the floral realm that she was a life saver in some situations. I can be a bit of a control freak, and even when I was probably being a little to much at times, I trusted her fully to work her magic and she didn’t seem phased one bit! We received compliments all evening and continue to about how beautiful our flowers were. Perfectly bright and vibrant for summer! I can say without a hesitation or doubt in my mind, that if you pick Whimsical Blossoms, you’ll be in awe on your wedding day!
