HEALTH ALERT! I will report this to the Health Department of Hillsborough County. My group of four waited over an hour for our food on 6/3/23 at 8:00pm. At 9:39 our food came out and all of our meals were room temperature or cooler. I took a bite of my fried fish taco and told Tabitha, our server, that it was unacceptable. She brought it back and I thought it was a redone meal I picked up the fish and it WAS THE SAME PIECE OF FISH with my bite taken out. Tabitha explained that they put the fish back in the fryer to reheat it! When the manager came over he acted surprised that they did that. THEY PUT MY PARTIALLY EATEN FOOD back in the fryer where other food is cooked!!! I said what if I had hepatitis or some other disease??? You DO NOT PUT PARTIALLY EATEN food back in a fryer! This is a health hazard and I can only imagine what else goes on at this place!

We originally picked this location because it was one of the places that convinced my now husband to move to Florida, but beyond the emotional significance, this was the perfect venue for our reception. Emily and Jaime were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They were responsive, laid out all of our options for us, and very helpful in the planning. They are a very flexible venue with lots of options. Their food and drinks are incredible (just like their regular restaurant food!) and surprisingly well-priced. All of their event spaces are beautiful and the servers were very nice. It was a wonderful, relaxing night to end a chaotic, but fun day.

We did a welcome to town Happy Hour in place of a formal Rehearsal Dinner. I did call inquiring about room rental but their prices were so crazy that we took a gamble and just asked everyone to show up. We ended up with about 40 people out at the barefoot beach bar and it was perfect! Our server quickly bring out extra chairs and made us our own section for our group. We didn't end up doing any food with them but the drink were great.

The food was great and it was easy to set up. The restaurant overlooks the Bay, which was beautiful. We did a ticket system for drinks and the waitresses didn't do the greatest job of limiting people to two drinks (or charging them for going over 2) so we paid a bit more than we wanted to.
