Whispering Oaks Vineyard

Whispering Oaks was not only a phenomenally beautiful venue for our wedding with breathtaking vistas of rolling hills, but Jacki went above and beyond to help out and to make sure our special day was well planned. Having Jacki as a built in same day coordinator was an invaluable bonus. I would heartily recommend them for any future weddings in the area!

Words will never be able to express how thankful we are to have met the entire Whispering Oaks Vineyard family! I knew since the day I walked in to the venue when they first opened that I wanted to get married there one day. Jackie Cunningham is simply the best - we started the wedding planning process with Jackie in October 2020 and now that our wedding is over, we feel like she is a part of our family. Jackie truly does it ALL!!! She offered the best advice for us based on her experience with the venue. She is such an amazing person to work with before and during your wedding. We are going to miss seeing her but will forever support the amazing WOV family and their delicious wine! Jackie and the WOV team made the wedding planning process a breeze and catered to any idea we threw their way. For example, the week of our wedding we wanted to have a "Beer Garden" set up outside under the back deck to serve beer outside during cocktail hour and the wine and specialty drinks inside the Speakeasy to try to create more space for people to spread out. Jackie and her husband made this happen for us without any hesitation. The venue is gorgeous inside and out, and we were able to make it our own with the help of GHR rental company. We received endless complements on how beautiful everything was, from the outdoor ceremony to Cocktail Hour with live Jazz music, to dinner and dancing inside with our band Into the Spin. Since our wedding took place on a Saturday, we really appreciated being able to take our time on Friday morning setting everything up with the help of Jackie and Jennifer from GHR rental company. The bridal suite at WOV is so beautiful and very spacious. It was so nice having our own private bathroom in there throughout the whole day, especially for my sisters and little nieces. We really enjoyed getting ready in the bridal suite the morning of our wedding. Jackie was there from the crack of dawn until the wee end of the night making sure everything went perfectly smooth for us - from opening the doors for us at 7 AM to chilling our champagne in the fridge to cleaning up at the end of the night - Jackie was there for us through it all! We loved having all of our wedding events in one location - our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were both at Whispering Oaks Friday night. Everything about our wedding was perfect thanks to the amazing team at WOV and Jackie. We can't recommend Whispering Oaks enough for any event (wedding, bridal shower, baby shower) they are simply THE BEST!!!

Three months after our wedding day, we’re still in awe of how we wound up with such an amazing venue. When we arrived for our initial tour, the scenery was beautiful, from the expansive interior of the Cill Dara to the breathtaking panorama that served as the backdrop of our ceremony outside. Brian gave our tour, and we could tell from how laidback and easygoing yet knowledgeable and professional he was that we could trust him and his family with one of the most critical parts of our wedding day. And Whispering Oaks is a literal family; most of its members live on-site and work together to make great wine and host amazing events. Between the day we put down our deposit and the wedding itself, we stopped by the tasting room quite a few times, and the staff was always friendly and willing to chat. As we met and worked with other folks at Whispering Oaks, we found everyone to be approachable and accommodating. As the date drew closer, we met Jacki, who was so incredibly easy to work with a thoughtful in giving us suggestions based on other events they have hosted. Brian and Jacki both served as our day-of go-to people, and they blended right in, making our guests feel comfortable and lending a helping hand with various tasks when they by no means had to. When our trellis broke while setting it up, they busted out a bigger and more beautiful one they had on hand! In short, they put in the time and effort before and during our wedding; they went above and beyond in making sure our day was better than we had envisioned. They were also a blast to have celebrating with us! Indeed, the preparation and service were incredible, but you can’t have a wedding at a vineyard without good wine. Fortunately, Ryan makes some incredible reds, whites, and roses. Wedding aside, whenever we stopped by a local spot that carried Whispering Oaks wine leading up to the big day, it was our go-to choice. It still is. While we wish we could throw another wedding ceremony at Whispering Oaks, we’re thankful we can always stop by the tasting room to enjoy the vino and the view. If you want a marvelous location that allows for guests to move between wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, and a staff dedicated to making your wedding everything you’ve been dreaming about and more, then Whispering Oaks is your spot!

Whispering Oaks Vineyard is the most beautiful place to have Your Wedding and/or Party. The view is spectacular, wine is amazing and staff is exceptional to meet Everyone’s need....
