When the wedding day came, it was confirmed - slice of heaven. We couldn't have asked for a better crew to help us realize our dreams. The reception hall is a spacious, wooden barn with an outdoor patio + fire pit. A big bonus of this space is that the hanging drapes and lights stay with the venue! Quotes for those at other venues were crazy… Also, all the chairs are wooden, and there are 4 wooden rectangular tables to work with as well (savings on table cloths!) The venue is great, but then there is Jessica herself… she is AMAZING! She goes above and beyond throughout the entire planning process! I visited the venue at least 3 times. I highly recommend hiring her as the day of coordinator, which was $500 for me. She knows the venue best, and I can attest my day went perfectly smooth! I also added on a hot cocoa / coffee bar for $150. We didn’t do alcohol at my wedding, so this was our special drink for our guests. Jessica will provide everything! The last expense was staffing (optional but highly recommended) whom took care of all the things behind the scenes. This was $325. Extra bonus - if you choose a bubble send off, this venue has some bubble machines!

t, location -- when we booked this venue last June, for our daughters wedding last weekend, it was 103 degrees outside but the outdoor ceremony site was literally 90 degrees due to all the trees that are at the location which makes this amazing for not only the Bride/Groom but for all the guests as well. Second staffing -- Jessica & Krista and her entire staff were not only so incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process but once the day came there was a chance of 80% rain and that would mean we would have to pivot to the inside. We constantly check the radar and Krista kept the entire teams and vendors, as well as us, calm until we had to make the final call to complete the ceremony outside RAIN FREE!! They were constantly present and their bar tending staff and security were top-notch. The indoor barn for the reception was one of the highlights of the day to making everything as magical and memorable for my daughter and her new groom along with all family/friends attending from all over the country. Thank you so very much for making my daughters day as stress free and wonderful as possible.

The entire venue is updated, amenities that are endless, and her staff was very helpful and friendly during our wedding. Would give 100 stars if I could!

were very excited to point me in the right direction for everything I needed! They’re cooperative snd honest about the prices that go into their location as well as businesses they partner with. I especially loved the decor. Everything inside the building is clean and neatly decorated. It’s simple but elegant, leaving flexibility to add your own decorations to make the even uniquely yours. The brides room is spacious and has mirrors with lighting to make hair and makeup easy, and the bathroom in the brides room is very clean and well stocked. The staff we hired to serve food and clean tables was very efficient and friendly as well. They made sure to move in and out as to not distract or disrupt guests. Overall, this location made my special day amazing, and I couldn’t have it without them!

ill had good cell reception (which was surprising to me since that usually isn’t the case in the country). When we all went out to see off the newlyweds, the path was well lit, and I didn’t feel the need at all to use my phone’s flashlight (which is nice and bright, and would have easily illuminated everything I needed to see). All in all, I can’t think of any constructive criticism to give to this place; everything was beautiful, and I would definitely consider having my own wedding here (someday).

were absolutely amazing!! My husband and I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Every intricate detail was handled by these amazing ladies. 100% transparent from the first day we met. Communication was on point. And there was no hidden fees. You know everything you want to know. Just ask. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for intimacy, beauty, and professionalism. canceled 3 hours before my weeding. Even though she had an event she herself needed to leave for she stayed, called all connections until she found food for us. The staff even went to pick it up and served it! My day of Coordinator helped to stay on schedule and made sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly for our special day. I seriously could go on and on about how wonderful this venue and staff is!!! I will be referring all Dallas clients that are getting engaged(I work for a jewelry store) family and friends here!!! We will be back where it all started for our vow renewal!!

ore perfect. We looked at several venues before going with Whispering Oaks. It ended up being the only venue we could see ourselves getting married at. The outside ceremony space is gorgeous and has the right amount of shade for an evening ceremony. The bridal suite is to die for, and the groom's suite is larger than any others I've seen. Jessica was my day of coordinator, and let me tell you, she was a lifesaver! I could not have imagined our day without her. She made sure we ate and stayed as close to schedule as possible. Jessica will also make sure that the day stays about the two of you! Absolutely love Whispering Oaks and their fantastic staff!

I have had weddings at other venues but this place is gorgeous and great for every penny we spent.. We got so much more out of just having the wedding.. Most places even if you have a coordinator the Mother of the Bride is stressed to make sure everything is just right but not with Jessica and her team.. They all worked together with us to make this day go off with a hitch from the 8am start of our day to the 11pm end of our day.. If you are looking for a venue that has your wishes you want granted for your child's special day.. time was phenomenal. I never waited more than five minutes for a text response. Jessica is amazing. I was able to live in the moment at my daughters wedding and not worry about anything because her staff was there and if I needed something during the ceremony and reception they were on it. The rustic charm that this place holds was exactly what my daughter was looking for and offered a bounty of beautiful pictures to be taken indoors, outdoors, it doesn’t matter every corner of this venue is amazing! If I could give 10 stars they would have 100!!!

The staff is very up front with their expectations and there are no hidden fees or anything. They are kind, respond quickly to texts and emails, and work very very well with all of the other vendors. If you are looking for a place to get married, stop looking because this is your place! I love Whispering Oaks Wedding Venue and it will forever hold a special place in my heart!

Especially with having a wedding during Covid, Jessica was there every step of the way communicating with us and easing any worries and coming up with any solutions/giving suggestions. We talked multiple times leading up to my wedding due to me panicking whether it would go on. She spent lots of time talking to us and she always mentioned if needed we could move our wedding to next summer-which I know lots of venues didn't offer this to many brides or gave them dates during the week only- I appreciated that Jessica offered this and that no matter what I knew Id have my dream wedding still-this helped during such a stressful time! Due to covid, I had to change a few things in regards to decor and Jessica was able to get me chargers free of charge with another vendor-she did not have to do that! She also let us come the day before and do rehearsal, set up the reception decor the day before, and come early on the day of-which most of this stuff was not in our contract. She even helped break down stuff at the end of the night- she is amazing and really cares about making sure you have the best wedding. The location and venue is stunning but the main reason we picked this venue is because of Jessica, we wanted to support a business owner as opposed to some of these big corporate wedding venues...and Im sure glad we did! I honestly don't think our wedding would've been as amazing as it was if we hadnt- I dont even know if we would've even had one. When I say she goes above and beyond she does! She does so much for her brides and its something you wont find at any other venue! So if you are trying to decide who to go with, go with whispering oaks! It was the best decision I made and I had the most amazing wedding even during a pandemic!

a Dixon, the owner of Whispering Oaks. Since our engagement in the summer of 2018, Jeff and I had our hearts set on a Texas country barn wedding surrounded by all of our loved ones. We started our venue search in January of 2019 and on the first weekend of our search we were turned away by a country/barn venue that was at the top of our list. It was a stunning barn with excellent reviews. However, the venue owner told us in a private email that our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and that he would not host us at this venue. It was a devastating start to what should have been one of the happiest times in our lives. We began to question whether a Texas country wedding would even be a possibility for us. We were not prepared to come out again to each and every vendor and ask if they would accept us and so we decided to put our plans on hold to consider our options. Long story short, our story got out and Jessica heard about it. She contacted us within days of the story being on the news. She felt terrible about what had happened to us and she wanted to make it right. She invited us up to tour Whispering Oaks and offered to host our wedding for free any day that was open on her calendar. We were blown away. We will never forget the day that we visited Whispering Oaks for the first time. It was literally love at first sight. From the parking lot you stroll through this serene grove of trees which opens up to this beautiful outdoor ceremony site and then you continue along the path across the bridge and around the bend towards the big reveal; that gorgeous barn with the adjacent firepit and patio. It is completely isolated and so peaceful. You don't see anything from the parking lot and you don't see the parking lot from the ceremony site or barn. It was even more beautiful than the venue that turned us down. Jessica met us at the barn with a big welcoming hug and we knew right then that this was where we wanted to get married. Fast forward to November and we could not have hoped for a more beautiful wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception and everything was absolutely perfect. The ceremony was everything we had hoped for; the quiet, peaceful sounds of nature carrying the melodies from that lovely string quartet up towards that stunning fall backdrop. And, the barn itself, transformed into one of the most beautiful reception spaces that we have ever seen. Jessica was the first one there, bright and early in the morning as she is for all of her weddings (she attends them all), despite the fact that she was up late with the wedding from the previous day. Other than the happy couple, I don't think anyone wants the wedding day to be more perfect than Jessica. She ran around the whole day setting things up and tearing things down and making sure everything was perfect. She did this for us, complete strangers, without the expectation of getting paid, because she wanted to take a stand for equality and make our day perfect. Just like her venue, Jessica is a beautiful person, and if it is important to you to support small, local businesses that truly embrace inclusion, equality and love for everyone, please check out Whispering Oaks. You will not regret it!
