Located in Solvang, California, the ranch unfolds across a collection of distinct spaces, allowing your wedding day to move naturally through the property. Exchange vows overlooking the breathtaking Santa Ynez Valley, gather for cocktails beneath mature sycamores with horses beyond, dine al fresco under the trees, or bring the celebration into the barn and its adjacent bistro-lit reception space for dinner and dancing.
Whispering Rose Ranch feels expansive yet intimate, refined without feeling overly formal. Its equestrian history, handcrafted details, established trees, open lawns, mountain views, and working ranch setting create a sense of place that could only belong to California’s Central Coast.
Weddings can be designed as intimate celebrations for 75 guests or grander gatherings of up to 250. Couples may choose from one-day venue experiences, curated celebrations, or extended access that transforms the wedding into a multi-day Santa Ynez Valley experience.
Getting-ready spaces include a dedicated Bridal Lounge, the Stone Cottage for quiet moments before the ceremony, and the ranch Saloon. Handcrafted teak farmhouse tables and coordinating benches bring warmth and character to the celebration while allowing couples and their creative teams to layer in a design that feels entirely their own.

One of the things that makes Whispering Rose Ranch so unique is the variety of beautiful locations available for each part of your celebration. Tom has thought of every detail whether that's locations for the bridal party to get ready, beautiful new pathways, lighting, etc. Our guests are still raving about the day - most of them said it was one of the most memorable weddings they’ve ever attended.
We also want to give a huge thank you to Tom and Drew, who were amazing to work with. Their warmth, responsiveness, and professionalism made the planning process smooth and stress-free. They genuinely cared about the process and it showed.
