Sara was so helpful, patient, & easy to work with and available throughout the whole evening. The staff was great & we never had to wait for a thing. Food portion sizes were very large & all of our guests commented that the food was wonderful! This is an excellent venue for a wedding!

Whispering Springs Golf Club is a public golf course rich in history & sits on the picturesque ledge in Fond Du Lac. Fond du Lac is an ideal location as it is very central- an hour from Milwaukee, Appleton/Green Bay, and Madison. The clubhouse was redone in 2008 and combines the perfect balance between modern & rustic. We have made quite a name for ourselves through quality food, outstanding service, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Whispering Springs is a truly picturesque facility for weddings of all types and is easy to transform into the venue of your wedding dreams. Let our simple, clean decor and white walls serve as a canvas for your most colorful ideas.
The Grand Ballroom boasts more than 3,000 square feet and can seat up to 250 people for a plated dinner. The space can also divide in half to host smaller weddings. From the moment you walk in, you are hugged by a stunning warm floor to ceiling fireplace. You will notice designer touches such as the white judges paneling, the rustic but elegant chandeliers, and paint colors that are a blank palette to suit any style. Lots of white and wall to wall windows allowing natural light. The ballroom also includes a large wrap around deck overlooking the golf course for all of your guests. Minimalistic décor and clean lines. It allows you to customize your wedding however you see fit. Most of our bridal couples don’t feel they have to do a lot of decorating which is a huge bonus and cuts down on the décor budget.
Whispering Springs does all of their own in-house catering and bar services. They make it easy for you to plan. When you rent Whispering Springs for your wedding venue, many items and services are included, such as the wedding tasting, china, flatware, glassware, round tables, chairs, linens, cloth napkins, skirted head, gift, and cake tables, cake cutting service, dance floor, microphones, house sound system, easels, podium, bartenders, setup and cleaning. We make it easy for you to budget, and we don't nickel and dime you. Our servers and bartenders aren't outsourced or temporary employees- they are 'family'. Most of our staff have been with us for years, and we have very low turnover (which is unheard of in our industry). Our two experienced event planners work with you to execute a flawless wedding that flows smoothly.

hat we were hoping it would be. Sara was amazing to work with to make our wedding day the best day ever. Not only was she the one to contact with all of the "behind the scenes" details, she was also on the floor helping all of her staff make drinks/serve dinner. She was truly amazing and so was all of her other staff! If anyone needed anything during dinner, I swear there was a staff member right there to get you whatever you needed. Sara and her team made the night go by without without any issues (or if there were any I had no idea)!
The dinner was also amazing! We chose the champagne mushroom chicken, top sirloin, twice baked potato, and the glazed carrots. ALL of our guests had nothing but good things to say about the portion sizes and the quality of the food.

inator, made everything easy. Emails, phone calls, and any questions were answered promptly. My daughter has Celiacs, and even though most of their dishes are GF, Sara went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe--with GF rolls for the entire head table (without even asking). Since we were doing 'late night pizzas' as a snack, she offered to get us a GF pizza of our choice for our daughter and a few other guests with allergies. Not being from FDL, and with so much of our families being from out of town, Sara was a big help with the construction and mapping things out for us, since getting from the church to the venue was no longer a straight shot. It's only been over a week, but we are still having ppl comment about the food, bar service, servers at the tables, etc. There was not 1 thing we needed to worry about. Sara coordinated all the vendors the day of. The wedding was on a Friday, and so we were able to set up on Thursday night. She checked in often asking if we were in need of ANYTHING. I honestly cannot recommend WS enough! Other than construction, which was out of their control, Whispering Springs was a big part of their absolutely perfect day!

simple elegance and Whispering Springs Golf Club was that and then some. Everything at the venue was perfect: from the high ceilings, white board and batten walls, dark hardwood floors, and a window-filled banquet hall. Because of its natural beauty, I did minimal decorating just because the venue didn’t need it! Honestly, this venue doesn’t get enough credit for how beautiful it is. We also really liked the separate room for the bar that looked out to the golf course!
The biggest plus besides the venue itself is the Event Coordinator, Sara. Sara was amazing to work with and incredibly talented at her job. With us having a “Covid wedding”, Sara was so easy to work with and extremely flexible. For example, she put a bar outside for our guests to go instead of staying inside. She did this for us without charging us! She also gives great advice when asked for help! For insistence, it was our officiant’s first time officiating a wedding and she was that right there helping us during the entire ceremony run throughs. Another thing we appreciated was that we were able to get in to decorate a day before because we had a Friday wedding. The staff at Whispering Springs was incredible on the day of. They worked so hard and so well together which made our day flow perfectly. I even asked one of the workers if they could get me a glass of water and without questions they ran back and got it for me.
Whispering Springs also has an in-house chef that makes the best food I have ever tasted, especially for a wedding!. Our guests wouldn’t stop raving about it.
All in all, Whispering Springs Golf club was hands-down the best and most beautiful place to get married at. Sara at Whispering Springs is a remarkable Event Coordinator and an even better person! I recommend Whispering Springs golf club for any wedding, you won’t be disappointed, I promise!

utely fabulous! Everything went so smoothly, from the day we signed the contract to the day after the wedding when we had to go pick up a few of the last things that were left over fro the night before. She worked with my vendors to coordinate everything so I had to do absolutely NOTHING! Isn't that what every bride wants? The day of my wedding, I got my hair done, got ready with my girls, got married, and walked in to the reception hall and was BLOWN AWAY at how gorgeous everything was. I couldn't even have imagined how perfect everyone made it!
We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was (we went with appetizers before hand during cocktail hour and buffet for dinner). The bartenders kept the drinks flowing, everyone we encountered was perfect and courteous.
Not to mention, the backdrop of the beautiful course makes for GORGEOUS photos! Make sure you get out for some sunset photos on the ledge.
I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone. It will make your special day so much less stressful. I can't thank Mary and her staff enough for all of the help and support that we were given on our big day.

It was so nice not having to worry about getting thing situated Mary was flexible and was able to set everything up for us. The only thing is when we were running late to get photos done with the photographer, staff was getting impatient and wanted to start serving food before we got there. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening. We had so many complements on the food and the portion sizes.

ctacular hall, gorgeous view of the golf course, outdoor patio, large bar area, beautiful vestibule and foyer, and an amazing event manager, catering staff, wait staff, and bartenders.
The food is AMAZING, and far exceeded our expectations. The portions are much larger than we thought and the guests did not walk away hungry.
Mary Wolfe, the event manager, is so kind and accommodating with any and every request we had. She helped make the day go very smoothly.
The hall is so pretty on it's own we only needed minimal decorations. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we stepped through the doors. We got so many compliments the day of and for weeks after the wedding at how nice and perfect the location was.

and relied heavily on email to touch base with Sara. She was incredibly organized, thorough, and genuinely helped to reduce any amount of stress we had leading up to and the day of our wedding. The food at Whispering Springs is phenomenal - we had so many compliments on the appetizers, dinner, and dessert selections. The space itself is so beautiful - it can truly work for any aesthetic. There is plenty of room for guests to mingle at the bar during a cocktail hour, but the space is still small enough that it’s easy to make your way around to chat with everyone in attendance without feeling separated from the party. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the facility is echoed and exemplified by all of the staff working to make your day the best day ever. We are so very pleased with our experience and would recommend Whispering Springs to anyone looking for a low-stress, high-class reception or wedding venue.

Sara was a complete pleasure to work with; she took care of everything and made me feel so at ease that I knew everything would run smoothly. We had our ceremony and reception there. Since the wedding, we have had so many compliments from our guests on how wonderful everything was, and heard "this was the nicest wedding we've ever been to" more than a few times. The food was delicious (and hot), the service was exceptional, and the space is just plain gorgeous. We would highly recommend Sara and Whispering Springs to any couple looking for a wedding venue.

the food was amazing! I was a very picky bride with wanting all my details the right way. Sara responded quickly and always had an answer to my questions.
The venue is so modern, new, and just to our style. We also received so many wonderful words about the food and many people said the wanted to lick their plate clean it was so good!
At our cocktail hour our guests filled the bar- instead of just be swamped they pulled another bartender up from the pro shop downstairs.
Whispering Springs was the place to be and with wonderful staff and great location!

Springs I knew instantly that it was exactly what I was looking for. With hardwood floors and window-filled walls, this venue is beautiful enough on its own without needing a lot of added decorations! The bar area and wrap around balcony are great for cocktail hour and the reception. The food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. The most valuable part of this venue is the staff. I live out of state and the coordinators were extremely accommodating with everything and made the planning and the day itself stress free!

e event. She oversaw everything, and I did not have to worry about any of the setup/timeline/takedown details of the reception on the day of the wedding. The chef is also AMAZING. The plated dinners were well worth the price. We did not use any decorations other than centerpieces. The ballroom has beautiful chandeliers and an elegant look. The golf course provides some incredible backdrops for photos, but you do need to be respectful of the golfers. They do not close the course or any specific locations for wedding photos. The only con I can come up with is that they require payment for your guaranteed count to be in cash or cashier check. It would have been convenient to pay by personal check or credit card.

lucky to have this place here in town. It's located on a beautiful golf course with fantastic views in every direction. There are beautiful windows throughout the entire ballroom and a bar that is stunning. The facility is warm and inviting. It's perfect for adding your wedding touches because it's a blank canvas but tastefully done.
I worked closely with Sara whom is absolutely wonderful. Any idea or thought you may have, she is the gal to execute it and make sure it's done in a perfect manner. One thing about this venue that sets it apart from others is the fact that they are so accommodating and willing to do whatever it takes to make your special day and night perfect.
The staff is wonderful! Very professional and hard-working. You can see all the hard work when you walk into the place and see how well kept and clean everything is. I had so many compliments and am still receiving compliments on the staff and also the space in general.
All in all, just great. I have not one negative or even a minor issue to bring up! It was amazing and I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this place for a wedding.

ests. They took care of everything before the wedding, as well as the cleanup. They even allowed us to come back the following Monday to pick everything up (I know some places rush you out). The day of the wedding everything went just as planned and was super organized. They allow you to take the golf carts out to take pictures on the course, SO MUCH FUN! I have had nothing but positive comments from guests about the food (Ribeye was HUGE and delicious), the service, and the unbelievably beautiful atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better location to celebrate such a wonderful occasion. I would recommend this to anyone!

Besides the look of the place, the staff are incredible. Mary Wolfe is the coordinator and handles everything wonderfully. Making sure there are golf carts awaiting the wedding party to drive to beautiful places on the golf course for pictures. I would recommend this venue to everyone!

3) The service was fantastic. From the very first time I met with Mary the event planner to the night of the wedding, she was nothing but friendly and helpful. She took care of all our needs and the night went so smoothly. I couldn't ask for anything more!
4) The price isn't bad either. It may be a little more than a hotel reception, but for the quality of everything else, I'd say the price is over the top worth it!!
