ners. I still have yet to hear back from Jan (the owner) about valuable items that family members left behind. I will say it is a gorgeous venue, but be prepared to never hear from them again once you sign a contract and hand them a deposit. I hired Jeff Double from All About Reclaimed in Butler PA, and if I didn't have him, my wedding would absolutely have been awful. I cannot recommend him enough, especially as I had no idea about how to get into the barn or what time was appropriate for set up for my wedding, it was the week of my wedding and I had no idea about anything and they werent answering my calls or emails. Lots of unneccessary anxiety and headache, why I only gave it 2 stars, if I had to do it over again, I would go for a different venue.

e wanted. My only complaints are the day of my wedding, there was still left over confetti and dead flowers all over the ground of the ceremony. It was just a little disappointing that nothing seemed to be cleaned up outside. However, we understand weddings are back to back, so it probably is not always possible to clean up the little things like that. In addition, we were a little disappointed that after signing the contract and putting down our deposit...we never heard from the white barn again. I emailed asking a question regarding candles, but never got a response. Kristen, from medures who is the white barn's exclusive caterer, was the most helpful. It was almost frustrating that medures seemed to be the most in charge of the white barn, and all that the white barn cared about was getting the money. The venue itself was great, but it just would have been nice to recieve a call or email a week following up or month leading up to the wedding from the white barn, reassuring me everything was okay. There was so much silence between when the contract was signed to the day of my wedding, that I was terrified no one would be at the venue. It was beautiful. It was what we wanted and more, but a little more communication and effort made from the white barn would help relieve a lot of stress for brides.

We had a wonderful tour when we were beginning our wedding planning, and we were also invited to come back to the venue additional times after that to get a better visual to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. We received so many compliments from our guests as well, and I could not have been happier how our day turned out at our perfect venue.

They answered any of our questions and were always willing to let us come out and see the barn, take measurements, etc. Jan is on site the morning of to make sure everything is set up and perfect for your needs. The bridal suite they have is wonderful and had plenty of room for me and my girls to get ready. You pretty much have to set up and take down the day of your event, so you have to be organized and factor that in, but as long as you have a plan and some help it's pretty easy. We wanted a barn big enough for our wedding and also that was air conditioned.  The air conditioning worked well in July heat and we were easily able to hold over 200 people. The gazebo on the lake and the rest of the grounds are wonderful backdrops for pictures. They have rain plans and everything in place in case you need to switch to a plan B, which was very reassuring to me.  Overall, can't recommend White Barn enough!

kind, in a time when everything was stressful - let alone replanning everything for such a memorable day. It was after much thought that my husband and I decided to go ahead with the reception on 8/15/20. Again, Jan was helpful throughout the replanning part. It would also be important to note that Medures Catering, were also such a crucial piece to this all and a valuable support!! The combination of White Barn and Medure’s is something I could go on about haha. I cannot say enough about how beautiful this venue is because it speaks for itself. Erik and I would do it over again (minus covid) if we could! The day was more than we both could have ever imagined. Thank you again to such an accommodating venue and for being such genuine owners!

Everything was clean and honestly just perfect! I would recommend the White Barn over and over again to everyone. ade it so great for our dog to be part of our special day. The barn is so elegant and pretty that decorating was so easy and simple. The flower wall downstairs was a very popular photo spot for our guests. We were able to have the ceremony outside at the gazebo and pond and the setting is gorgeous. Our pictures and videos are so beautiful with the background White Barn has. Communication and contracting was effortless and the owners were very friendly. We would highly recommend the White Barn for any special occasion, but be sure to book fast because slots fill up years in advance!

it is a blank canvas to transform into Your vision. Medures catering is the only vendor you have to use but I’m so happy we had them. Medures was amazing as well and the food was delicious. Other than that you have free rein to choose the vendors you prefer. Our guests loved our venue and talked about how beautiful it was. I think the set up of it is perfect with the gazebo and pond outside for the ceremony, the downstairs of the bar for cocktail hour as well as the outside patio and upstairs barn area for reception. The basement also has a bridal suite for the girls. It was perfect and was exactly what we wanted.

We have received so many compliments from guests on our venue, its beauty, and accessibility. The venue truly made our entire event and we are so thankful we chose White Barn.

While we had many personal touches, the barn requires very little decoration and is gorgeous on its own. There was also peace of mind knowing that if we needed to last-minute move the ceremony inside due to weather, it would be fine. White Barn is the best of both worlds--you have the charm of a "rustic barn" setting, with the ease of indoor plumbing and air conditioning. The catering at White Barn by Medure's Catering is fantastic. Pete Medure is also very responsive and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. His staff went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure everything was just right. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day such a success!

erything was modern but rustic at the same time; the gorgeous chairs and string lights were included too. Jan (the owner) was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to any requests via emai or phone. Our guests loved the venue. The great rain plan put me at ease (even though we didn't need it) but it was awesome to have a backup plan that didn't include "waiting it out". Overall incredible wedding, due in large part to this venue. Would do it again in a heartbeat

rfect venue - with the pond in the back and the white chairs set up by the pond for the ceremony it was literally a fairytale! The barn has beautiful wood work throughout and the bathrooms are even gorgeous! Plenty of space for guests to dance- we had 194 and there was more than enough room! The scenery for photos is beyond pretty! And the owner is so wonderful to work with! Would highly recommend!

, with a lake in the back behind the barn. The lake is a beautiful backdrop for lots of pictures, especially at sunset. The barn itself has an okay setup. The main floor and downstairs were comfortable and spacious. There is an upstairs loft for more seating. My husband and I walked up the right side of the stairs to find our table. There was only one table. I suppose that could be good or bad, depending on the company. We found that that was not our table, so we walked down and then back up the left side, where we found our table along with six other tables tightly crammed together. Searching for our table was just one indicator of the lack of good service at this venue. The wait staff initially ignored guests, as they walked around with their trays of Hors d'oeuvres, until I heard a gentleman call one of them out by saying, "We must be the invisible ones. Will you please come over?" Little did he know, he was not alone. When I did snag a taste, it was a disappointment. Scallops wrapped in bacon (one of my favorites), tasted like a chewy mouthful of grease. The bruschetta was the worst I've ever had, and something that is pretty hard to mess up. I also disliked the bar's plastic drink glasses. I was a bit surprised when I took my first sip. The plastic was uncomfortable to drink from, so I had to drink with a stir. My husband found it odd that the bartender asked if he wanted his rum and coke chilled. Really? A room temperature rum and coke. As for dinner, another disappointment, but after cocktail hr, we expected it. There was a buffet, and nothing was labeled. We are still wondering what kind of awful fish we had tried. I don't like writing negative reviews, but I just had to share our experience. It really does have the potential to be a wonderful venue. We were overall disappointed in the food and the staff. If we ever get invited to the white barn for an event, I highly doubt we will attend.

of planning to the big day easy, and AMAZING! The food is unbeatable (as our guests said, "THE BEST they've ever had at a wedding")!! I would highly recommend this venue to any newly engaged couple looking for a rustic chic venue.

guest raved about it the whole night. However, outside the barn isn't the prettiest it could be. I ended up moving my ceremony site that morning because there was no grass growing. But this is also a new venue so I can't wait to see it grow! Working with Jan was also a pleasure, he is very sweet and always willing to answer questions. The venue is run by Medure's Catering.
