White Barn Retreats

I can’t even begin to explain how happy my husband and I are with our venue choice in White Barn Retreats. Since the first time we inquired about the venue, Nicolle and John were so helpful and informative. They were always very quick to respond to text and emails and were happy to accommodate whatever we needed. They made the wedding planning process so fun and exciting, and very easy on us. We were able to visit the venue multiple times before our event. They were there at all times to answer all of our questions and to be on the same page with what we needed for our wedding weekend. They even added a special electrical plug for our food truck we brought for our wedding. They made sure to make us feel at home rather than just renters of their venue. When you rent the venue for the weekend, you have it all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They even allowed us to drop off some items on Thursday to avoid multiple trips back-and-forth. We showed up early Friday and spent the whole day setting up, relaxing, and spending time together. Our whole family and bridal party were able to stay on the grounds, in the barn or in campers on site. Saturday morning, wedding day, we had plenty of space for everybody to get ready. We had around 40 people stay on site, and everybody was able to shower, get dressed, do hair and make up, and prep for the wedding. We had around 250 guests for the wedding and were able to fit everybody very comfortably for the ceremony and reception. We loved how we were able to have the ceremony by the pond and the reception up top on the patio. We loved how this venue offered multiple ways to set up and organize our event, however we wanted. The bathrooms are big and great for multiple people to get ready at a time. The kitchen is very big and a great space for prep. We also were so thankful that the venue provides a large parking area, especially because we had people camping out on Friday and Saturday night. Nicolle and John were there every step of the way as needed, but we felt nothing but privacy when it came to the wedding day. The biggest reason we picked this venue is because you are basically given a blank slate for three days. You’re able to do any alterations or adjustments you need and how you see fit. Including rearranging, decorating, etc. The entire weekend was relaxing, fun, and memorable for everybody involved. If you pick White Barn Retreats, you’ll definitely get a fun and unique wedding experience rather than a stressful one day event that feels rushed and overwhelming. Our goal with our wedding was to have a three day experience where all of our favorite people are under the same roof, and we got just that. It felt like we were at home, and very rarely do I hear of people having a wedding experience such as this. We got so many compliments on our venue choice from all of our guests, as it’s not the typical wedding day experience. We even had a Sunday brunch after the wedding for all of our guests to come and eat and swim in the pond. I can’t recommend this wedding venue enough. Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect, and everything we had dreamed of. We would absolutely choose this venue again.
