If you are getting married in Vail (or anywhere near), Jessica at White Birch is your girl! I live in Texas and hired Jessica as a partial planner because I had a pretty specific vision (and event experience), but knew I needed boots on the ground and someone to help execute that vision locally. Cue Jessica Gillespie. She was super organized and the perfect planning partner, recommending the best vendors in the area and always being super responsive during the planning process. I am a super A-type personality and knew I really needed someone I could trust so I could let go of the reigns during the wedding week, and Jessica did just that. Do yourself a favor and give her a call :).

Jessica was magnificent! We could not have asked for a better planner! Every detail was accounted for, she kept us on schedule and made sure our wedding day was exactly what we hoped it would be. She worked within our budget and helped us come up with creative ideas for the big day! We appreciated that she made a trip to Boulder (where we live) to meet with us in person when we kicked off the planning process. She made a point to meet our families and make sure they were comfortable and up to speed with all of the events during the weekend. Most importantly, she always had us feeling at ease about the planning and assured us that everything would come together perfectly! Jessica with White Birch Weddings and Events was just the person I needed to execute my wedding day! She is so organized and connected with other wedding vendors and venues. I had complete confidence that everything would go smoothly throughout the entire day. Not only did she go above and beyond on the wedding day, but she always made herself available when I needed to chat about the many decisions to be made over the course of many months. Jessica is great, and her services are worth every penny. I initially thought I wouldn’t need a coordinator because my venue had someone onsite. I am so happy I made the decision to go with Jessica. It was so comforting to know that she was advocating for my interests which helped me to relax and enjoy my wedding day.

If you're getting married (which it appears you are) my biggest piece of advice would be to hire Jessica from White Birch Weddings!!! I went into the process thinking I could do it all on my own, and quickly realized I needed help. After interviewing numerous planners I had a phone call with Jessica and knew immediately she was "the one" for me. She is direct, flexible, easy to talk to, open to ideas and has exquisite taste. She knows her market, all the best vendors and has an answer for everything. I also really appreciated how she steered me away from the things I didn't really need, kept me grounded, and held me to my "homework" assignments. I am pretty busy in my own career, but Jessica helped me stay on track throughout the whole process. I honestly couldn't have done this without her. Jessica was unbelievable to work with! Sweet, funny, and very professional. She made sure to keep our budget on track by being mindful of the goals we set out from the start of wedding planning - I never once felt she was pushing us in a direction we didn't want to go, and she was very good at telling us which vendors/items were at the higher or lower end of the wedding market spectrum in order for us to make the right decision. Was extremely flexible to schedule calls and meetings. The day before and day of, every one knew their marching orders and the wedding went off without a hitch (everyone involved was given a detailed schedule to abide by the night before, vendors were contacted with a complete schedule the week before). We even had a couple fires and she was able to address before we even found out about them - so the day was flawless. Couldn't recommend her or her team more. This team is worth every penny!

Jessica was a big help for coordinating my wedding day. You can tell that she loves her work and will take the extra step to make sure all of your needs are taken care of and that the events unfold smoothly. I would say the only minor inconvenience was inconsistent response times to e-mails/texts, but given that she is probably juggling multiple clients/events at once, I would expect these delays can happen. Overall, she is a very sweet person and is passionate about wedding planning.

If you are having a wedding in any mountain town, do yourself a favor and hire Jessica! We originally planned on doing all of the planning by ourselves, but after hitting a standstill in planning about 7 months out from our wedding we decided we needed help. I have to say it was the best decision we made. Sure.. many Denver based wedding planners can pull off a decent mountain wedding, but Jessica can help you do it flawlessly with the deep relationships she has with vendors all over the I-70 corridor. She helped us find many fantastic mountain based vendors that we could not find otherwise and helped us find a perfect venue for our Vail village rehearsal dinner/welcome party the night before the wedding. I'm not sure how she does it, but she makes you feel like you're her only client when she actually has weddings booked every weekend. One of my favorite qualities of Jessica is her ability to read her clients, she takes the time to get to know you and really understand what you value, what's important to you, and what your vision is. In times of indecisiveness, she remembers all of this and helps you make well thought out and logical decisions. Lastly, our families LOVED Jessica. When they finally got to meet the person we had been raving about for months, they totally got it. Jessica went out of her way to take care of any bumps that arose the week/day of the wedding and it did not go unnoticed. Our day was perfect and none of it could have been possible without White Birch Weddings.

If you are having a wedding in Colorado you need to hire White Birch Weddings & Events. My (now) husband and I truly cannot say enough compliments on Jessica and her team. Being a local to Vail, I had the special privilege of many in-person meetings with Jessica where she was beyond helpful in guiding me with where to allocate my budget, which vendors to pick, how to pull off the details that count and just being an overall support for all of the minor wedding issues that came up. Jessica is both kind and blunt - which is what you need in a wedding planner! Someone who can take charge when needed and go to bat for you when things don't go as planned, but also be an amazing listener and make the process actually FUN. Being a local to Vail, I'd repeatedly heard Jessica's name come up from different venue visits and conversations with other vendors and locals - I'm so thankful I listened and she surpassed her reputation. Even our guests after the wedding repeatedly told us our wedding planner was fantastic, which speaks volumes to her charismatic nature and attention to every aspect of the wedding. Jessica was amazing and made our wedding day a dream! As one of the first out of my friends and family to get married, and with having a destination wedding (from Chicago)-- I seriously couldn't have pulled it off without her. She was always available to answer my, my mom and mother in law's millions of questions and was available for countless video chats/hour long phone meetings. On the day of the wedding she was the best! She took care of everything, eased my worries, was instructive, organized and knew exactly what she was doing. Jessica was the best!!! Pricing was very reasonable, but her service and knowledge was top notch!!! Great vendor recommendations and superb hand-holding (we're in Washington DC) made the planning a breeze! Our wedding day was perfect!!! My favorite part about working with Jessica was her unflappable demeanor. When she says "don't worry about it, i'll handle it", she means it!!!!! Jessica planned my destination wedding in Colorado (I am from Miami, FL). I hardly had to lift a finger in the planning process - she knew all the right vendors who were incredibly talented and respected in their fields and all within my budget. All vendors were trustworthy and reliable and the wedding day went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Jessica - she is very hardworking and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. She's always ahead of the ball and and a proactive planner all around. She understood my vision from the beginning, so much so that I trusted her to make decisions on my behalf. Jessica did an outstanding job for me and I recommend her whole-heartedly for all your wedding planning needs. Having gotten engaged shortly after my sister was married in Miami, FL, I was slightly panicked to discover that planners in the Vail area were way more expensive than they were in Miami (and therefore way more than I had budgeted for). I'm a very organized person and resented the fact I might have to pay so much for a service I wasn't even sure I needed. Then, my venue POC told me about Jessica--an affordable and super organized planner who had already done weddings at my remote venue. I learned quickly that no matter how organized the bride, a planner is a huge help--especially one like Jessica! When the inevitable day-of mishaps occurred, she was all over them--communicating with the late shuttles, convincing the band to play longer than they were contracted, essentially revamping the entire timeline on the fly. Prior to the big day, she was coordinating with all my vendors, reminding me of deadlines, and calming my nerves. She was indeed the first person at my wedding and the last to leave and my big day wouldn't have been possible without her. Thanks Jessica!!
