With guest’s meal preferences ranging from meat to vegan, WHF managed every dietary need and offered delicious options for all! We received so many compliments on the meal and appetizers! is because I’d read lots of great reviews, but I should’ve went with another one when she told me she didn’t do tastings, and with her attitude from the start. On the wedding day the food really didn’t impress me: There was barely enough hors dourves to go around when we told her an over estimate amount of people, and most of my family never was even approached by a server with them, including my husband and I. Also, who leaves the inedible end on green beans? Everything just looked kind of sad, either not cooked enough or over cooked. The food looked cheap, but it certainly wasn’t.

My mom especially wouldn't stop raving about it, she said that usually wedding food is forgettable but ours wasn't at all and guests were complimenting her all night! Truly though, thank you so much for such wonderful food. I also know the asparagus appetizers were a huge hit and gone immediately. The team was also very kind, made sure appetizers were continuously passed (several guests raved about this) and even left the groom and I several appetizers at our head table so we'd get to try them. I can't say enough good things about White Horse and I HIGHLY recommend using them!

Everyone fought over the macaroni and cheese - a few friends brought it up last weekend out of the blue, following it up with “I’ve never remembered wedding food more than 10 minutes after I ate it, but I’m going to fondly remember that mac for a long time.” Amy is an efficient, no-nonsense professional who quickly got our contract drafted up and executed, and then required absolutely zero hand-holding in the lead-up to the big day, which we really appreciated. She was on-site the day of the wedding and was so kind and welcoming. Her staff even prepared a little silver tray of 2 of each of our appetizers for the sweetheart table in case my husband and I hadn’t had a chance to try them during happy hour socializing - a little gesture that demonstrates WHF’s attention to detail in delivering the best catering that SW Michigan has to offer!

The buffet presentation was great! Egg and bacon station - amazing. Vegetarian choice was soooo delicious too. The burgers are huge, and people said they didn't mean to eat the whole thing but couldn't stop because it was all so good. Their appetizers were lovely. People LOVED the salad and baked beans. Mac and Cheese was perfect. I could go on and on. Our food was definitely something our families will remember and talk about for a long time! We couldn't be happier!

be downright expensive, bland, and just awful. When seeking a catering for our rustic wedding, my husband and I wanting something approachable, delicious, and what is better than a taco bar? Enter Angela Lee and her fabulous team at WHF. Chef Angela has a strong background in creating wonderful cuisine at numerous restaurants in Chicago and her focus to details is superb. My guests at the wedding were blown away by the flavors and freshness of the multiple different types of tacos. And: Coming from the south, my family knows good Mexican food. My mother even commented that the chorizo tacos were the best she has ever tasted. I, also, found out next day that Chef Angela actually went around to every table, greeting them, sharing recipes, and making sure each of my guests were satisfied. WOW!! Working along side her up until the wedding was a dream. Any question I had, WHF would respond promptly and would always assure me that they had my interests in heart. Chef Angela even emailed me the day before when the weather took a 15 degree drop to be prepared... (I had extreme "bridal brain" at that point) Truly, an amazing woman, fantastic company, and beyond delicious food. I can't wait to hold another event (um, not wedding-haha) just to try the burger bar next.
