I visited 4 different local salons and immediately felt welcome at White House Bride. The salon is beautiful with tons of natural light and designated spaces for brides. Kris was my attendant and she was amazing- not pushy, listened to my wish list, and gave honest feedback. She pulled a few great options within my price point, but I happened to find a dress on the rack that I fell in love with that was outside my budget. After a few visits back and some deep consideration, I decided to splurge. During this time I felt no pressure from WHB to overspend or rush. After ordering, I received a nice handwritten card that was a sweet touch. I am docking one point because for almost 10 months I received little to no communication from the salon. The ETA for my dress came and went, and I called three times over the next few months to check in on the delay. When I called I got the impression that I was inconveniencing them or that they were too busy to look into it. Email was better but I was understandably nervous. Once the dress came the alterations process was easy and I loved the seamstress. I think the pricing was fair and my bustle was so beautiful and unique- many people at the wedding commented on how they'd never seen anything like it. Highly recommend. Overall I'd definitely suggest checking them out!

This was the first dress shop I went to about a year out from my wedding (Aug 21). They had a great selection of dresses and I tried on a ton of different styles. When I tried on “the one” I had all the feels but since it was the first place I had gone to and the dress was over my budget, I didn’t want to jump and say “yes to the dress” just yet. I told them I wanted to shop around and had appointments at other stores before making a decision, but they made me feel a little pressured in to making a decision quickly and buying the dress sooner rather than later because of COVID, shipping delays, etc. When I went back to officially buy and order the dress there, it was right after New Years. The dress came in about 5-6 months and we had plenty of time to do fittings (which I had 4 total). I used the in-house seamstress (Missouri) and she did an amazing job!

Staci provided me with my dream wedding dress. I even did several upgrades to it and she was there every step of the way communicating with me and my dress designer to make sure I was being delivered the dress I always envisioned. I recommend all newly engaged Brides visit WHB. You too can feel like a princess on your wedding day!

When I walked into White House Bride for my appointment, I was a little overwhelmed - because they had so many wedding dress options that it was so hard to choose from! Thankfully, the girls there were able to help me pick out a bunch of different dresses - including some that were out of my comfort zone. I didn't feel rushed, pressured to buy a dress or ignored of what I wanted.

I wish I could rate White House Bride 100 stars!!! After many many dress shopping appointments (at other stores) I was getting frustrated, feeling like I was never going to find my dress. When I contacted White House Bride, I mentioned there was a specific dress I would love to try on. Although Stacie (the owner) did not have it at her store she ordered it for me to try on. I cannot say enough words about Stacie and the White House Bride experience. Stacie sent me videos of all of the new dresses that came in before my appt, and the entire staff was very accommodating. Not to mention the store itself is STUNNING, actually the nicest place I visited. Once I arrived, Stacie brought me to a private room with my guests. I tried on a few dresses before trying on the “one” . Unfortunately, my mom was sick so Stacie made sure we were able to call my mom on FaceTime before saying “Yes to the Dress!” All of these little personal details made this day so special. I am forever grateful for Stacie and her team.

Just bought my Justin Alexander wedding dress here!! A gorgeous salon with a staff that really cares. They let you walk with them and pick dresses you like. Irene was my stylist and really gave me the best experience ever. She was not pushy and very respectful of my budget. And the owner Stacie is also wonderful and really worked with me to help make my dream dress become mine! You cannot go wrong with a visit to White House Bride!

BEST EXPERIENCE. I had gone to a few other places in NYC and I felt disappointed bc we've all seen movies/shows about the dress shopping experience and NYC it's just not that. A lot of pressure (IS THIS IT?! after each dress), or its only one designer type so if you find thats not your style, well byee. ANYWAYS my 3 other of my friends had found their dresses at whitehouse brides! So, I figured this has to be good. It wasnt just good it was GREAT. They gave me and my mom the best experience. Firstly it's a beautiful store, private area, big room , allowed me to try on way more than 3-5 dresses, didn't pressure me, didn't show me things outside of my budget (or were very open an let me decide if I wanted to). Just everything of the experience made me enjoy it and feel comfortable. I ended up finding a beautiful dress and all the ladies helped me for timelines bc I don't live in the area anymore. Long story short, if you're the bride or the mother of the bride or MOH whatever, I highly recommend this place.

White House Bride was the only bridal shop I went to and I found my dream wedding dress! Stacie is the most kind, patient, and caring individual who made the dress trying on experience fun and enjoyable. I never felt rushed or like I had to say “yes”, even though of course I did :). I could not have asked for a better experience! The store itself is beautiful and every employee greets you with kindness and genuine interest in you, your wedding day, and of course - your dress. The seamstress I worked with was incredible, knowledgeable, and helpful in explaining what she needed to do to the dress, but also the bustle process to both my mom and matron of honor. Always answering all of our questions. I am so glad I went to White House Bride to find my dream dress. I could go on, but all the positive reviews truly speak for themselves. Every bride should put this shop on her list! Thank you Stacie!

I will start with the positives. The staff listens to what you want, are very easy to work with, and the atmosphere is beautiful. My issue is my daughter said “YES to the dress” however, the dress we received was not the dress that we ordered. After a six month wait (typical), the dress arrived, and they changed the design of the dress without any notification! The original style was elegant yet sexy. What we received, was not. When we realized this, the owner made excuse after excuse, never really taking ownership of the issue, and never actually apologizing to my daughter herself. As a prior business owner, I know the first words out of her mouth should have been “I’m so sorry, I take full responsibility for this, and we will make this right”. Instead, she blamed the factory, and we were told how fortunate we were that the designer herself would be able to meet with us because she was doing a trunk show the following week. AND that she would not charge us to have the seamstress turn the dress back in to the original dress style we ordered. This was a very expensive dress of which I was willing to pay because my daughter was so happy, and she looked so beautiful. But to even suggest that I would have had to pay to alter the dress BACK to the original one, was ridiculous. So here we are. The seamstress is wonderful and doing her best to try to make the dress look and feel like the original. However, as of now, it is close, but the dress just does not have the same sexy elegant feel to it. And the bright light in my daughter’s eyes that she had when she picked out her dress just is not there. She is being brave and making do as best as she can. Because we are now so close to her wedding date, we will have to accept whatever the outcome is. In the end, we are going to wind up walking away with a very expensive (probably still beautiful) dress but NOT the dress she picked, no real apology from the owner to my daughter (only a forced one to me when she overheard me telling the designer that she took no responsibility), and not even the smallest of a suggestion to amendment to the price we paid to make up for the heartache my daughter is going through. My suggestion to you is if you choose to shop here you will enjoy the staff, there is a nice selection, and the place looks beautiful, but make sure your wedding date is at least two years away so if this happens to you, you will have time to walk away.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I bought a dress before postponing my wedding twice, then life surprised me with being pregnant. During my wedding, I was 6 1/2 months pregnant. White House Bride made sure my dress could be altered to my growing body and also made sure I was comfortable. My dress was altered in such a delicate way that many guests came up to me and said “Wow! You don’t even look that pregnant! This dress is incredible!” I felt so beautiful! Please look no further when choosing to go where you go wedding shopping.

My experience at White House Bride was one of a kind and a huge success considering this was my #9 bridal boutique!! The patience and personalized experience I received from Stacie was outstanding and it was clear that she was invested in my dress search from the second we got in touch. Stacie thoughtfully shared gowns that matched my vision and even went out of her way to ship in a few gowns that I asked about. Her gown selection is by far the most unique I’ve seen!!! She carefully selects her designers and carries a wide range of simple to very extravagant gowns, which is hard to find! She also helped me brainstorm and style my bridal look and never pressured me throughout my appointment (other places do this!!). My appointment ran over time and I was NEVER pressured to wrap up and leave (other places also do this!). During your appointment, their seamstress, Dolores, is onsite and present (and extremely talented!) in case you have any alteration needs or questions. Lastly, Stacie was able to call the designer to my dress on the spot just to ask a few questions! When I decided to say ‘yes to the dress’, the entire store cheered me on and gave me a bottle of champagne! I was so lucky to come across White House Bride and highly highly recommend!!

If you’re looking for a bridal gown or MOB/MOG dress, you need to check out White House Bride. Stacy and her team know their stuff, are respectful of your budget, and add ZERO pressure to make a purchase. Stacy hand selects all of the beautiful gowns in the store, and has a great idea of fit, color, fabric, and truly listens to her brides (including me—who is probably the most picky person about clothing ever). I could not have envisioned a better bridal gown buying experience for myself. Thank you!! And I’m so excited for my dress to come in!

I had an amazing experience at White House bride! I had Kris with me for my appointment and she was so knowledgeable about the different styles and pulled exactly what I had in mind. It was my first time shopping for wedding dresses and I went in very overwhelmed at the thought of finding a dress but Kris and the staff made it very easy for me to settle in. I ended up buying my wedding dress that same day! It only took 7 dresses for me to find the one! I’m so so excited and happy with my choice. I would refer anyone to White House Bride for their bridal gown!

I cannot say enough great things about White House Bride! It was my first shopping experience so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called Stacie the weekend before my appointment and she was super helpful in answering all my questions. When we walked in they had the brides' names on a board and we were warmly welcomed by the staff, specifically my stylist Irene. I went in with a dress I specifically wanted to try but it turned out to be different than I expected and Irene was so accommodating. She listened to my feedback and we got closer and closer with each dress. She also respected my budget. I tried on about 8 dresses and, on my first shopping day, I said YES! Thanks to Irene and the whole staff I feel so confident I made the right choice.

The ladies at White House Bride were phenomenal! I’m so glad I came here. It was my first experience looking at dresses and what an experience it was! I wouldn’t have want it any other way. This review is SO overdue but 5 stars all around! I visited and purchased my wedding dress back in October 2020 from White House Bride and couldn't have had a better experience! I originally planned my trip to the salon for the Hayley Paige trunk show but due to the expertise of Kris, Stacie and the rest of the team, ended up with a different gown from a different designer. Kris was a fabulous consultant and truly listened to everything I was saying and not saying! She was super intuitive and made me and my group feel so comfortable. I didn't intend to walk away with a dress that day but now I can't imagine not having the dress I chose. The salon is beautiful and I also purchased an incredible veil. I can't say enough about Kris and making the experience as fun as possible given COVID and the certain restrictions. I never once felt rushed and I honestly think she cried more than I did, lol! She is great at what she does and I'm so glad our paths crossed. Thanks so much!

This was my first experience trying on dresses and I could not have picked a better place to go! Kris was so fun and amazing! The whole process was very easy and organized! The staff was especially sweet to my 87 year old “Grammy” who had the best time watching me try on dresses. Before I left I made an appointment for their upcoming Essence of Australia trunk show and I can’t wait to go back!

I had the best experience! I came for the Berta Privee trunk show and it was so organized and welcoming. The dress selection was never ending! I had never tried on a wedding dress before and I am so happy that it was here and that I was able to find my dress. Couldn’t be happier with my choice and the helpful staff. From an initial champagne toast, to an assortment of snacks throughout the day, and of course the entire store’s undivided attention. It could not be a more positive and encouraging experience to find your perfect dress. Further, White House Bride’s dress selection is so diverse they’re bound to have what you’re looking for. Along with dresses for the whole bride’s wedding party including MOB and flower girl. I will be back both for my fitting and finding the rest of the dresses needed for my bridal squad! Overall, wish I hadn’t found my dream dress there because I want to do it all over again!

I was trying to hunt down a specific dress and came across White House Bride through the designer's website. Stacie responded to my email in less than 24 hours and worked hard to get the dress in just for me in less than a week. I live in Brooklyn, but made it to the store in about the same time it takes me to get into the city. I've been to a few other bridal boutiques and I was really impressed by how personable, quick, and kind Stacie was. Also, the space is lovely, clean, and bright. If I hadn't had said yes to the dress so quickly, I would've easily found another one because she has such a huge selection (and tons of accessories/veils too). I was excited to have found the dress with Stacie and am looking forward to working with her and her alterations team once the dress comes in. If you live in NYC, Brooklyn, or NJ you really should come to White House Bride to find your dress! The experience is unmatched.

I recently visited White House Bridal and felt that the entire experience was a little awkward and pushy. Even with new COVID-19 regulations in place, the showroom was absolutely beautiful. You cannot discredit that - when you walk in, you will just fall in love with the atmosphere. However, I felt after letting them know my budget, I felt like their tone changed. As I tried on dresses, they'd tell me, "This is a great dress for your budget," or "You're getting a lot of dress for how much you're willing to spend." It felt discouraging, even though I had set aside a few thousand dollars to try and find a dress. They asked people for their opinions but then immediately spoke over them as they tried to say what they did/didn't like about the dress. Upon leaving, I didn't end up choosing a dress, and everyone just said "bye" - the opposite tone of how the appointment began. It was colder, disappointed and I felt pretty annoyed. This was my bridal appointment and wished it went differently. I'd recommend having a budget of over $3,000 to really maximize your experience here.

Stacie truly has the most beautiful wedding dresses-especially if you like sparkles!! I am happy to have gotten my dress from here. Her new store is absolutely gorgeous as well! I highly recommend Stacie and WhiteHouse Bride.

I had an expectational experience at White House Bride. I bought my original dress for my July 3 wedding in November of 2019. They had a wide selection stunningly beautiful dresses. Every dress I tried on looked amazing! The staff was supportive, attentive, and patient throughout my entire appointment. Then in June I ended up having to postpone by big wedding celebration, and instead get married in an intimate ceremony in my backyard. Staci from White House Bride helped me find my perfect backyard wedding dress that was within my budget. Staci was beyond kind, accommodating, and helpful at every turn. I am so thankful for her help and support. My sisters, mom, mother in law, and sister in law also found dresses for our backyard ceremony at White House Bride. This is wonderful small business run by incredible people! You should definitely consider making an appointment when looking for the perfect dress for your special day.

I purchased my wedding dress at White House Bride (Formally known as Sara’s Bridal) and had the most amazing experience. I cannot recommend White House Bride enough! I must say, I wasn't the easiest bride. I bought a dress from a different bridal store and ended up having MAJOR regret. It literally made me sick. I wasn't even able to sleep at night over it. Knowing I had already purchased a gown, Stacie, the owner, and her staff bent over backwards for me even though I had an EXTREMELY short timeline (a little over a month before my big day). They asked that I bring my original gown in so they could see it. After trying to convince me that I didn't need another gown, that the one I had was beautiful, Stacie, Eleni, Irene, and Julia went to work and started pulling gowns like crazy. I think I may have tried on every gown in the store. Stacie was even texting and calling designers personally to see what they had cut in my size that would be readily available for me. Stacie assured me more dresses were coming in from the new collections and promised me I would find the dress of my dreams. When the dresses came in, Stacie called me immediately and I was on my way to the shop. She was pulling dresses out of boxes as they were bringing them to me. I finally found the dress of my dreams! Stacie even gave me an EXTREMELY good discount since she knew it was the second gown I was purchasing. She kept saying that being happy on my big day meant more to her than the money. I also purchased my veil, headpiece and jewelry from Stacie. You could see the quality of her pieces from afar- whereas the other places I looked, had overpriced junk. Delores, their in house seamstress, was just as amazing! My dress fits like it was custom made for me and the bustle is like nothing I have ever seen before! Thank you SO SO much Stacie and the whole White House Bride Team- I will forever be grateful!

I am so happy with my wedding dress shopping experience! This was the first and only place I chose to pick out the perfect dress for my wedding! The owner Stacy was beyond helpful and really cares for every customer that walks through her doors! She works around your schedule and was so sweet! Couldn’t be more happier!

I was really excited to go to Sara's Bridal because they carry the designers I liked. I had two dresses in mind that I really liked, so when my mother made the appointment months in advance, she made sure ask Stacie about those dresses. Stacie's response was that she would have to get them from somewhere else, but it wouldn't be a problem. A week before the appointment my mom emailed trying to confirm and didn't receive a response. I live out of state and want to buy my dress where I was getting married. When we arrived, I asked about the dresses and was told "Oh I'd have to order them". I was pretty disappointed but I was able to try on some other dresses. When I asked to get the dress model numbers (either take a picture of the tag or have them written down), Stacie just told me "I keep that information" and took them away. I've been to other dress places that have either let me take pictures of the tags or they wrote down the item number for me. Overall, I was disappointed that we took time to organize and specifically request dresses and that wasn't honored.

Sara's Bridal Boutique was highly recommended to my by my long term childhood friend, who I know is high maintenance and picky! The only thing I knew for certain when looking for a dress is that I did not want to deal with a chain like David's Bridal where I was just another number. I wanted real people who cared about their brides and the quality of their business. Within three dresses I found the perfect dress and my alterations made it fit like a glove. Stacie and Sara consistently made me a priority, I felt appreciated and cared for, we even got the mother of the brides dress from there as well! My mom adored her dress and we both looked fabulous. I couldn't have been happier on the biggest day of my life. Thank you Stacie and Sara!

Stacy and all of the ladies that work here are so sweet and incredibly helpful. I was nervous about trying on things thinking I was going to get overwhelmed but they made sure I was comfortable. I couldn’t recommend Sara’s more! We called 15 different places looking for what I wanted and they had it! They took my vision and made it happen. My mom got a beautiful mother of the bride dress here as well and she absolutely loves it. The seamstresses are also fantastic. I wish there was an option to rate more than 5 stars!

Stacie was SO helpful. Shopping for the most important dress you'll ever wear is stressful enough, but she put my mind at ease, and gave great suggestions. I had sent her pictures of what I had in mind, and when I got there, the choices she pulled matched exactly what I envisioned in my head. I was in and out in 45 minutes, and had my dream dress. I couldn't recommend enough!

After three disheartening experiences in New York City, the joy of dress shopping began eroding and I started wondering if there was a dress for me out there. Both my mother and sister said, 'You just need to go to Sara's...' Thank goodness this turned out to be true, their selection of dresses is very special. And, Stacie is one of a kind! Incredibly thoughtful, fantastic at what she does in terms of matching you uniquely with possible dresses, all in a friendly, low-pressure environment. It's private so you get 1:1 attention, and you never feel rushed. I even needed a second trying-on session to make the ultimate decision. She was accommodating and patient always, with encouraging text messages and dealing with my crazy schedule in booking appointments. This is the second bridal salon the we visited and was highly recommended by my future sister-in-law’s friend and I would definitely recommend them also to any of my friends or families! The people are great. Stacie replied to my sister-in-law promptly. They are very accommodating. Today, they have the trunk show and even the lady handling the show is so nice. She helped me with all the dress and Stacie and her gave their honest opinion. I found the dress that fits my taste and looks good on me! Of course I said yes to the dress!

I am so grateful that I found Sara's Bridal Boutique. Although I lived close to an hour away they made the process of buying a wedding dress easy. Sara's was the one and only bridal shop that I went to and found my dress within 15 minutes of being there. Their dresses are beautiful and they listen to exactly what you are looking for. I went in 6 months before my wedding and they were able to order the dress and do alterations without any issues. Thank you, Stacie, for all your help!

I loved Sara and Stacie as soon as I met them. I purchased 2 “mother of” dresses (2 weddings in 2 years) I didn’t want a typical mother’s dress and these ladies helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Service and communication were excellent. I didn’t feel rushed at all even with my fittings. Highly recommend!

The first dress she pulled was one I had been searching for since I began dress shopping & it ended up being my dress for my big day! She did not make me feel rushed or pressured to decide that day & was so accommodating when I made my second appointment to officially go back & say yes to my dress with my mom & a few of my bridesmaids. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude towards Sara and Stacy! They have gone out of their way in so many ways to help me find the most beautiful Mother of the Groom gown.
