I went in to look at wedding dresses last year. I had an appointment and there was no one else in the shop. We were a few minutes early and was greeted with a fake smile and a tone that screamed "What are you doing here?" We were not helped with dresses at all and the associates were whispering things under their breaths about us the entire time. Once we picked out a few dresses I was shown to a dressing room comparable to a curtained closet in a dark corner: you could see just fine in the room but the moment you stepped out it was dark. I was then given dirty looks when I stepped out to look in the big mirrors and show my sisters and we were then informed there was a no picture policy which would not do as my MOH lives in another state.
After trying on my 1st dress, a family came in for a fitting of a quince dress. They were greeted as family and taken to a larger, better lit dressing room. It was at this point that the sales associates only interacted with me to see if I was DONE trying on dresses every 5 minutes and my sisters had to help me with the dresses.
Looking at dress 2 in the big mirrors was worse as now I had the sales associates and the family giving me dirty looks. I don't remember how many dresses I tried on after that because dress 3 I didn't have the confidence to leave that dark corner to look in the big mirrors. What I do remember is we left with probably 20 minutes left in my appointment, were not addressed again for even a "have a nice day", and I felt so relieved to be out of this shop.
I found White Lace bridal while browsing Yelp. After reading that they had a good selection I gave this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the store is and how amazing their dress selection they have. I easily found a few dresses I loved but took a day before rushing back and purchasing the dress I fell in love with. The staff member that helped me find my dress was so welcoming which made me feel so good after having been rushed off the phone by another staff member because they were to busy to answer my question about dress colors prior to me purchasing my gown. I understand being busy but that did make me feel a bit off knowing I was purchasing with them. Even though I only had that one issue during the purchasing process I'd still recommend any bride to try this place out! They have a great selection of gorgeous dresses you'll be sure to find the perfect one for you!
Alterations were a bit of an issue. I scheduled probably too far in advance the first time and the seamstress reassured me to come closer to my wedding date. After my first fitting I left super excited to pick up my dress the following week. I arrived to pick up my dress but was shocked to see that not everything was completed and I had to wait longer in order for them to fix the issues. Overall they did have the work done that day I just had to wait longer than I had expected. My dress came out beautiful but wish I didn't have to deal with that stress being so close to my actual wedding day.

This place is amazing. The employees are really nice and Esperanza was a big help. Even though I only wanted to try on the one dress that I have been dying to get I instantly fell in love with it but Esperanza told me to try on another on just in case. Even though I tried on the other one I was still stuck on the first one. I'm glad that she made me try on two different dresses. She is has great customer service skills and make you feel welcome. Absolutely love this place!!! I can't wait to go pick up my wedding dress.
I had the most wonderful experience at White Lace! I am from a smaller town in the surrounding area and was in El Paso for the day. They were able to get me in the same day due to an appointment cancellation. From the moment I walked in I was treated wonderfully! Pablo was my consultant and I couldn't have felt more comfortable having a male consultant! He wanted to know exactly what I wanted and was able to deliver my requests to perfection. I loved that he gave me honest opinions on the dresses and let me know what would look perfect on my body type. I have been to other bridal boutiques in El Paso and I felt like the consultants will tell you the dress looks great on you even if it doesn't fit or flatter you perfectly. That was not the case at White Lace. I also didn't feel like I was rushed to make any type of decision. At the end of the day I chose not one, but two the dresses that made me feel absolutely beautiful! Thank you White Lace and most important thank you Pablo! I'm one happy bride to be!
I wasn't overly thrilled to go wedding dress shopping, not like most brides anyways. I didn't know what I wanted, and I figured I wouldn't find my dress the first time. When I walked into White Lace Bridal Boutique and saw the inventory and the dressing area, I was in awe. With starting off not being thrilled to shop; that was the experience I needed. I worked with Espi and she listened to what I liked in past dresses I tried on, and what I didn't care for. She brought over various dresses that were all contenders. She had a way to take what you are interested in, and find a dress to match. When I tried on my dress, I knew right away, and so did my bridesmaids. I also ordered the bridesmaid dresses through White Lace, and the ordering process was smooth, and staff there works with you to make sure you are on track for the timeline. I am pleased with my experience at White Lace, and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

I went to White Lace bridal after a few weeks of stalking the page and it exceeded my expectations. After looking through the dresses and choosing some to try on I found 'The One' no pressure at all just great friendly service. There is also a fab range of accessories and veils to choose from too, I am going back to try the bridesmaid collection with my bridesmaid in a few weeks and I can't wait. Thanks for making my day so special. I can't wait to get my dress so for now I will just keep looking at the photos.xx
I bought my dress here at White Lace and was very pleased with my whole shopping experience. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the best service and a great selection of dresses that were very unique. I really appreciated the way I was treated and it was nice that the consultant was just as excited about my wedding day and dress as I was! She and the rest of the staff were really great! I also bought my jewelry here. At the wedding, everyone commented on how beautiful and unique my dress was! I felt like a queen!
I went to White Lace with my mother, best friend, and soon to be mother in law. This was the second bridal shop that we went to, and what a difference! The sales lady that helped me out did not honor my price point of $2500 including alterations for a dress. She was very pushy, and kept suggesting gowns that were not in my budget and were not the style I wanted to try. She left me in the fitting room to get into the gowns on my own, only coming in to zip me into the gown and clip it for a better fit. She was rude to my mother, and did not even acknowledge my best friend or my soon to be mother in law. We honestly could not get out of this establishment fast enough. Aside from the poor treatment by the staff, the selection was very limited and overpriced. One of the dresses that I tried on in this salon was $600 cheaper at another salon. If I could give zero stars, I would!
I went to white lace because after being to every store in El Paso, this one seemed to have different choices and the most beautiful. But none of the wedding dresses have prices on them which makes it hard to choose. I tried on at least 15 dresses which were all out of my price range. I would try on a dress and then they would have to go look up the price on the computer. It got annoying so I told them to find something in my price range because as much as i loved the $3k dress i wasn't going to buy it. Finally they brought me a dress that was $650 but it was the only one, I could not order it new. It was already hemmed, but it was beautiful and price was cheap. They charged me $120 for alterations and free cleaning since others had probably tried it on. I have mostly been emailing back and forth with Alex, one of their people at the front desk. He seems nice and always answers me. I am going this weekend to try on their new veils with my dress, hopefully they have the prices on them. I would say bridal novias is the only place with reasonable cost for veils. So not a great place, but i the dresses are the nicest in my opinion.
I seriously tried on 5 dresses and found the perfect one. Everyone at white lace was so helpful and it was such a positive experience!
First, the sales lady who helped us was very pushy (by "us" I am referring to my sister and I because we happened to both be shopping for wedding dresses at the same time). Our sales rep was unhelpful, she literately told us that every dress we tried on was perfect, and the more expensive the dress was, the more perfect it was to her. After trying on 6 dresses I made up my mind, bought a wedding dress from White Lace and paid in full amount (~$1,600 USD).
In an attempt to pressure my sister into making a purchase at White Lace as well, our sales rep and the store owner of White Lace, offered each of us a $50 discount for making a referral and they said my sister and I can use each other as the referral to get the discount. They then pressured my sister into making a refundable deposit on one of the dresses she tried on- the rep told her, "we know you won't find nicer dresses anywhere else in El Paso!"
We visited Ella Blu next and my sister ended up finding her wedding dress there instead. Now looking back at my whole experience, I really wish I had gotten my dress from Ella Blu as well because the staffs there were patient, genuine, and we never once felt that they were being pushy or pressuring us into making a purchase.
I decided to double check the details of my dress with the owner, especially in regards to the delivery date. He assured me that since I had paid the dress in full it would be delivered to me by May 22. May 22 has since come and gone and I still have not received my dress. I even called the store on May 20th just to make sure everything was still on track for a timely delivery but instead the owner of White Lace told me that there was likely going to be a 2-week delay. He did not provide me with a reason as to why my dress would be arriving later than expected and no explanation of why I had not been contacted sooner to be made aware of the delay.
The White Lace store owner showed no sympathy nor was he apologetic about the delay. Instead he began harassing me for $50 and said that I have to pay the store back the $50 I was given as a discount. The discount that They offered, the discount I Did Not even ask for, A discount of $50 even though I paid $1,600USD up front in full! I was disgusted by the way he was talking to me and demeaning the $50. At the end of our call the White Lace owner said he would contact the dress manufacturing company and get back to me with an update on when exactly my dress would be delivered. An entire week went by and I hadn't heard any updates from the store owner nor had I received a follow-up phone call or email with the new status. When he called back he told me the dress would be delivered within 6 business days. Immediately after, he began harassing me again about the $50 since my sister did not purchase her dress from their store. He demanded $50 even though they had not delivered my dress on time, they neglected to follow-up with me on several occasions, they failed to provide me with a reason for the delay, they never apologized or took responsibility for the delay of my dress yet the store owner has the audacity threaten cancelation of the order of my Wedding Dress after I paid ~$1600 all for $50. This has got to be the lowest of the lows in customer service. I would not recommend anyone who expects professionalism, curtsey, timeliness or follow-through to do business with White Lace.
