This ensemble was perfect! They made the entire process effortless. Having never organized a wedding before, they provided me with great advice on how the music selection should flow in order to create the right ambiance for each part of our program....wedding, cocktails, reception and seated lunch. And they hit the marks just perfectly as planned. They were seemingly flawless in their performance—and the music selection was dead on for us. Couldn’t be happier—and HIGHLY recommend them! It was exactly what we had envisioned only better.

We used White Lake Quartet for our wedding ceremony and couldn't have been happier! Christine and Jon were very professional and responsive throughout the whole wedding planning process. They are very talented musicians and we highly recommend them for any special occasion!

We used White Lake for our June wedding. They were wonderful. They were very professional, offered advise on pieces to use and sounded great. I specifically wanted a harder cello piece for the processional. I was worried about timing since my older grandma was going to be walking into it. When she did take longer than anticipated the cellist handled it perfectly and adapted/repeated parts as needed so it was continual music. Everyone loved them and commented how beautiful they sounded. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

We hired White Lake Quartet as a trio for our September wedding and I do not regret it for a second! One of my only absolute "wants" for our wedding was to have a live string ensemble for the ceremony and WLQ did not disappoint! Christine was so helpful during the process. I was able to pick as few or as many songs for the ceremony, and they were able to fill in space with similar music. I received so many compliments on the sound and quality of the music and I cannot thank White Lake for making our wedding day so special!!

I hired the White Lake Quartet as a trio for my wedding. They were so easy to work with and very responsive. I worked with Christine who offered me advice on some music choices which I greatly appreciated her input on. Honestly, the day of I was not remotely concerned. They arrived and played beautifully. The song I chose to walk down the aisle I had envisioned time and time again and when the day arrived, it went exactly as I imagined it to be. It gave me butterflies! Wow.... just wow.... what a great quartet! A highlight of our wedding night and genuinely appreciated by everyone.... they were top-notch and very skilled at their craft (My wife knows, she's a professional violinist!). Service was impeccable and the artists even took my wife's complex musical requests and performed flawlessly. The experience was so great, we're planning a 1 yr anniversary party with our closest family and friends - just so that we can truly enjoy the things we missed in all the activity - we'd definitely have White Lake Quartet perform for us again! - just wish I could hire them for date nights, lounging around the house, or other daily life moments :)

Christine from White Lake Quartet was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process from inquiry, to booking, to leading upto our big day. They have a large selection of music to choose from. We chose to do the quartet (all 4) and everyone involved was--correction IS--very talented. We had about 150 people at our ceremony and heard nothing but great reviews from our guests. Everyone enjoyed hearing contemporary music done with string instruments. Christine was very attentive to my initial emails and asked all the right questions. We submitted our deposit shortly after comparing their prices with a few other quartets. For the entire quartet, their price was the best, even with traveling fees. Unlike other vendors, Christine followed up closer to the wedding with reminders and questions. When the wedding venue reached out to her to ask for their needs, I heard nothing but good things back. This made me feel confident the day of the wedding. Sure enough, they came right in, set-up and played without any issues at all. I didn't even notice them coming in, or moving for the cocktail hour. They were very efficient and right on schedule. The music was absolutely beautiful and timed perfectly. I cannot say enough great things about this group.

We came across White Lake when doing research online and we are so glad we did! They were very professional, quality musicians. They helped me out in the planning phases, giving input into selections for each portion of the ceremony. They also were able to put together a custom selection for the lighting of our unity candle. I have received numerous compliments from our guests specifically on the quartet and their music. They have an extensive repertoire with a wide range of styles. We selected 15 current songs to be played during our cocktail hour because we thought they would sound great with the string trio and we were right. I was so excited to hire the trio for our wedding after looking through their extensive repertoire list! Even though we were using the trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour, we were able to choose songs from the quartet's repertoire list as well. We had an incredible selection of music to choose from - classic, fun, contemporary, broadway -- We had so much fun choosing the music. Christine was available to answer any and all of my questions. She also even offerred to help with choosing music if needed. She was able to help us decide how many songs to play for each part of our wedding. Overall, she was extremely professional and we felt comfortable putting our trust in her to do a wonderful job. They did not let us down! As the bride, I remember standing outside of the doors of our ceremony ready to walk in, and I heard the strings playing "Yellow" by Coldplay for our bridal party to walk into. It was so beautiful -- breathtaking how wonderful they sounded. The sound filled the room - and it truly was a very special moment for me. For my processional and the bridal processional - the music was equally touching -- and I knew that the trio truly made the day perfect for us. We had MANY compliments from our guests for how beautiful the trio sounded. And I could not have been happier with their help and support before the wedding. My husband and I hired the White Lake Quartet (we opted to have the trio play instead of the full quartet) for our wedding ceremony and reception cocktail hour. The music was absolutely lovely. The trio was very professional and great to work with through the whole process. Christine was our contact from the start and she was helpful and responsive to emails and any questions we had for her. The quartet has a well rounded repertoire including all of the traditional wedding songs as well as arrangements of some pop/rock favorites. We chose to have our ceremony for the most part very traditional and then had a mix of songs played during the cocktail hour. Christine was very helpful when it came to selecting music and selected additional songs based on our general concepts.

My experience working with Christine was absolutely great. She was very responsive to my emails and phone calls, very personable and flexible with last minute changes to the schedule and duration of performance. We have received a lot of compliments on the ensemble and music from our guests (some of which were also classically trained musicians). They were also great with the last minute request for a Happy Birthday piece as it happened it was one of our guests birthday that day

This was the best decision we made about the music for our ceremony. Christine really helped me with song selection and was on top of every communication.

The White Lake Quartet was helpful and friendly from start to finish. I met with Christine, one of the members, for a consultation. She was thorough and went through the their repetoire list and contract with me. Their repertoire was fantastic- so much music to choose from, and they were willing to let me pick as much or as little music as I wanted. They played for both my ceremony and my cocktail hour, and the guests raved about how wonderful the music was. Bonus: if you book them for the ceremony, they give you a discount on cocktail music!
