They were very professional, but also easy to talk with throughout the morning. They really take their time to make sure everyone is happy with their services and offer to adjust things as needed. The day of my wedding it was 90 degrees and my makeup looked FANTASTIC the whole night! the wedding, the bridesmaids got ready at my parents' house, and they traveled to us to make things easier. Each bridesmaid plus my mom and my new mother-in-law looked absolutely beautiful, and the makeup stayed on all day and night (and we were certainly sweating on the dance floor). I highly recommend using White Lotus.

esponse was quick. The time frame estimate was over what they needed which worked since we added two flower girl hairs as well and we were still done well before the time frame estimate. Our trial was the day before and she was very receptive to what I wanted and the changes we talked about she nailed the next day. My hair and make up were exactly what I wanted and I have never felt so beautiful in my life! She also uses quality make up. My sister wore her make up for three days straight cause just cause it looked so good and still looked good three days later, and when she finally took it off she was expecting a break out but she didn’t! I’m very tempted to make an hour long trip to joliet if I ever need hair and make up done again!

my day-of artists took extra time getting to know me and perfecting their styles prior to the big day. On the day of, Michele, my hair stylist, did an amazing job incorporating feedback I had from my trial and working with my mid-length hair to make it look voluminous and much longer than it actually is! Jena, my makeup artist, also did an amazing job tweaking colors from the trial to beautifully compliment my dress. I got SO many compliments on mine, my bridesmaids', and the mothers of the bride and groom's hair and makeup from so many of our guests! The White Lotus staff was also incredibly professional, clean, and friendly. They were early in arriving to my house on the wedding day and were done much quicker than scheduled (which they anticipated beforehand)! Katie was also amazing to work with from a communication and planning standpoint, and Renee was also very responsive to emails. I had heard about White Lotus from women who had been bridesmaids in weddings who had hired White Lotus, and I am SO thankful I trusted word of mouth reviews and went with them, as well. Thank you Katie, Renee, and White Lotus Weddings for making my wedding party and I more beautiful than we could have imagined!

looked amazing and received so many compliments! They also handled Covid so well. I had to postpone my original wedding date and Katie was so kind and thoughtful during that whole process. The stylists who did my makeup trial was going to be out on maternity leave for our new wedding date so Katie said she would do my makeup instead and offered me a free trial! Plus, the night before our wedding, the hair stylist who did my trial was not feeling well. Katie knew I was being super cautious with Covid so she let me know and said they were waiting on test results, but in the meantime didn't feel comfortable with her coming and had someone replace her. She assured me there would be no difference and there wasn't! The stylist they had come instead was just as amazing and they made sure I was happy with how I looked! I really can't thank them enough, it was so appreciated how they handled everything with Covid so graciously and professionally. I could not have picked a better company! I highly recommend White Lotus Weddings!

did my hair and makeup on the wedding day, along with my trials and let me tell ya, I changed my mind a million times within the year and she was always SO helpful and confident in the next idea, the day of the wedding I ended up last minute changing not only my hair but my makeup, so Ana did her thing and I looked AMAZING! No trial for these things, but was my best look yet! I will always recommend this salon to all my friends when they are getting married, these ladies ROCK!

Katie and her team were able to travel to my mom's house for wedding day hair, which was very accommodating. Katie and her team arrived with high spirits, were super bubbly and fit in perfectly with my bridesmaids. They felt like one of the girls. :) This made for a stress-free and fun morning. I've had my makeup done various times for other weddings and special occasions and have never liked what makeup artists have done... that is until now. I was the sister of the groom, a bridesmaid and the wedding planner for the event. I have to say White Lotus Weddings did the most amazing job. I don't think I've ever felt more beautiful. They listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me a completely flawless look. More importantly, the bride looked stunning. They heard her, they listened to her likes and dislikes and gave her exactly what she was looking for. We actually participated in a trial makeup session with White Lotus several months before the wedding and had a wonderful time with that as well. Katie is an expert at what she does and she has an amazing team behind her. But it gets better, White Lotus doesn't just do makeup, they do hair too. I've had my hair put in an updo twice by White Lotus Weddings for two different events and both times it’s been a great experience. I have thin hair which means I've never been able to expect much when getting an updo. However, both times my hair looked absolutely stunning. I actually had people ask me if I put in extensions to make it look so full and beautiful. Extra bonus? Both times the updos lasted me for the entire next day, even after sleeping on them. White Lotus Weddings is truly the best!

The day of our wedding, she and her team were on time, set up, & ready before we were! We had a large wedding with 8 bridesmaids, plus 6 flower girls, my mom, and me to get ready! They stayed calm, cool, collected, and even better, on time! We actually got everyone "finished" early and everyone looked like they stepped out of a magazine! I ABSOLUTELY would recommend Katie and White Lotus Weddings to anyone and EVERYONE!

It even stayed on when I cried, which was something I was genuinely worried about. The hair/make up trial is a must, not only does it make it feel more real that your big day is almost here, but it allows you to plan out how you want your day to run. When Katie and I sat down at my trial, I felt like I was just talking to an old friend and basically spilling my dream ideas of how I pictured my fairytale Christmas wedding. And let me tell you, Katie was amazing filling in all the details to make my day perfect. On my wedding day, Katie and her girls were simply perfect, they were all so sweet and made everyone so comfortable to just enjoy the day and really soak in all the moments together. Looking back, no one would have ever known that weather conditions were definitely not in my favor that day the snow I had hopped for was instead heavy ran and strong wind. But that didn’t slow or hinder any of this fairytale plans that were set in place. Our hair and make up was completely flawless, even with rain/wind no one would ever know. And even after countless hours of endless dancing, my hair and make up were still flawless at the end of the night for final pictures. If I could relive my wedding I would pick White Lotus 1000x times over. You can truly tell that Katie and her team really love what they do and care so much for their brides !!!

azing. They allowed us to bring in food and drinks for the morning and even allowed for my fiance to show up the night before to leave a surprise! Our hair and make up were flawless. Katie also took pictures and cleaned up after us. Seriously, these girls are the best and I can't recommend them enough! hat I received from Katie and her staff. They truly take time to know what you like and don't like and will never push you to do something you aren't comfortable with. I wish I used them for my hair that day as well, but I already had someone else booked and felt bad cancelling. Katie and her team definitely know how to give the most natural look for your wedding day and of course they can glam you up as much as you want as well. I felt so comfortable in my makeup all day. I have extremely oily skin and they were able to hide this for me. They worked with me on the day of to change up my look which was different from my trial. Both were amazing looks I just wanted to be very natural the day of. I also had many people ask me who I used and refer White Lotus to everyone! I cannot recommend them enough!
