Maryann harassed the venders and guest. We were told that we had use of the entire place upon renting, but when the day came were not allowed to set up the welcome signs, guestbook or photo booth according to Maryann. She walked around all night telling the matre d to hurry up and harassed the DJ telling him the last song was at 7:30 when we had the place until 8:30. My husband and I went in today to speak with Phyllis the manager and received non chalant answers say Maryann usually doesnt act like this. So to sum it up we were treated this way because we were Black. Horrible Experience

ght choice in choosing this venue. Things went smoothly but at times the staff was a little rude. Lets get into the day of the wedding. Everything was set up fine and on time. Getting ready was a problem because the electricity kept going out. One of the ladies working had to keep going down to fix the breaker and at one point she said to us " I don't know what you are going to do but I can't keep going up and down these stairs. As the night went on this is where things get a little more upsetting. My maid of honor and groomsmen went up the bar to get a round of drinks. At this point this is where the bar tender asked them "are you sure you really need that"? They were not stumbling, slurring or nothing of the sort. My bridal party was offended and quite frankly so was I. After the reception had ended we were upstairs packing our things up and the one hostess of the party was complaining how we left everything such a mess ( mind you we left the packages the flowers were delivered in on the table because there was no garbage can ) she had my maid of honor help her throw at the packages which you would think the venue would be responsible for that. The next day I realized I had forgotten a few things at the venue such as 2 baskets of mums, a wedding basket in the men's bathroom ect. I called to come pick up my things and was told that the mums were left outside and were eaten by the deers (sorta understable) but things that I left behind were thrown out without even a phone call. I am truely disappointed in this venue and wish I had went some where else. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!
