White Oak Farm is a rustic style wedding venue located in Michigan City, Indiana. With expansive grounds and two barns to choose from, there is plenty of space for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Following its opening in September 2020, this space serves as a welcoming setting for receptions and ceremonies of all sizes.
Family-owned, White Oak Farm is a venue with much to offer! Standing since the early 20th century, this location has a wealth of history and lots of character. In 2016, Greg and Rebecca Engstrom fell in love with the property. Since then, they have created a space, incorporating the new and the old; to share it with others.
Stretching out over 83 acres, this farm offers couples a range of ceremony and reception spaces. Peaceful, wooded walks abound, combining seamlessly with well-maintained lawns. Two barns with all the modern amenities, also provide a versatile choice of spaces to celebrate in. The Cedar Barn, the larger of the two, offers room for up to 300 guests in an elegant and charming atmosphere. Adorned with chandeliers and tasteful furnishings, it presents a classic setting for your celebration. With a three foot waterfall made from boulders found around the farm, covered walkways, and a wood-fired pizza oven all adjacent, this is a setting filled with opportunities. For smaller affairs, the Poplar Barn presents an intimate venue ideal for close-knit celebrations. This is a peaceful location filled with light and offering a bright, airy feel. Along with the inviting event spaces on offer, this venue can also supply tables, chairs, and other ware for you. For your wedding feast, guests can enjoy dishes in a range of tastes and styles. Premium beverages served with a smile are also available from bars throughout the property. To help your preparation go smoothly, this venue can provide a go-to event organizer to offer answers or solutions to any issues you may have.

rst venue we visited and the last. When we did our tour the poplar barn was being built and the cedar was still a blueprint. We chose to have our ceremony and reception at the cedar barn. From the blueprint to the wedding day we can definitely say our expectations were surpassed and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our special day.

ou also feel secluded since there are no other houses around, only the venue and the owners house. The rehearsal was on Thursday and it went smoothly, our day of coordinator helped us and answered any last minute questions we had for her. Our wedding on a Friday in the Cedar Barn and it was the perfect size for our 112 guests. The bridal suite and grooms quarters were up to date with AC and made the day perfect since our wedding was in July and they had enough room for all of our bridesmaids and groomsmen. The ceremony was luckily outside and the scene was beautiful with all the green trees and the pond behind it. There are so many places on the grounds to take pictures too so they are not all in one spot. Our experience with White Oak Farm was perfect! We had no issues the whole day and they truly helped us have our fairytale wedding. We would recommend them to everyone for any event!

Our first meeting with her she was so kind and my fiance loved her home and she was nice enough to give us a tour of that.( A very strange request on his part but she did not even hesitate.)
We are from out of state and we asked last minute to visit to see how far the barn has come and her response time was so quick and she showed us around the entire lot and answered any questions we had. She even updates us all the time on the progress of the barn. Becky really feels like family.
I am soooooo thankful we booked at White Oak Farm. I am excited for the barn to be fully built and to have our special day there!
