Ellen did a fantastic job organizing the second line, jazz band, and Dj for our wedding. As an out of town bride it meant a lot to me that I could tell her what I wanted and she handled ALL the details. We had a 6 piece jazz band that led us on and around Canal street from the Windsor court hotel. Ellen organized all the permits and police escorts along with the music. After the parade we headed to the reception where Quinn, the DJ, played a wide range of music to suit my tastes. Couldn't have been happier. If you are particular, give Quinn an exact list of songs and artists you like.

We used White Oak Productions to book our Wedding DJ (On Fire Entertainment) and Second Line (Kinfolk Brass Band), both were amazing! Ellen was awesome to work with, she set up parade route, permits etc. Everything went off without a hitch! Highly recommend booking with White Oak!

I recently got married in New Orleans and I worked with Mimi White at White Oak Productions to coordinate my wedding music. I wasn’t sure what types of music I could afford given my budget, and I recently got married in New Orleans and I worked with Mimi White at White Oak Productions to coordinate my wedding music. I wasn’t sure what types of music I could afford given my budget, and Mimi was extremely helpful in explaining the various options. I ended up selecting a Violist for the ceremony and a DJ for the reception. Prior to the wedding, Mimi introduced me (via email) to the Violinist and DJ, and I worked directly with them to select my music and discuss details of the day. Both musicians were on time, professional, and thoroughly entertaining. I highly recommend White Oak Productions to anyone planning a wedding in New Orleans!

We had Algiers for the SecondLine...They were amazing...all the wedding guests and spectators were dancing up Bourbon Street to the music..One of the most fun things ever at a wedding!!!

We had the Original Pin Stripe Brass Band do a Second Line after our wedding and it really was the perfect way to end the night. Not many of our guests knew we were having a parade so they were blown away when the band came in and we started walked down the street. We had so many people lining the streets to see what was going on. Complete strangers were dancing with us and so many people took pictures and videos of our parade. If you get married in New Orleans, you absolutely must do a Second Line and we highly suggest this band for it. You will not be disappointed! Just remember your umbrellas and handkerchiefs for your guests!

White Oak was great! We used them to arrange a jazz trio (the Chris Burke Trio) and a second line (the Pinstripe Brass Band) for our wedding in New Orleans, and both were excellent -- very talented and professional. Working with Mimi White at White Oak was a pleasure, and she went out of our way to make sure we were satisfied and things ran smoothly (which included guiding us through the second line permit process and checking in with us (unprompted) on numerous occasions to align with the bands on playlists, timing, special instructions, etc.). We worked with a number of vendors for our wedding, and Mimi was by far the most attentive and responsive. We would work with Mimi again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend her for anyone hosting a musical event.

We used Mimi with White Oak Productions to book our second line band, Kinfolk Brass Band. Mimi is great to work with. She's quick to answer your questions. Kinfolk Brass band sounded fantastic and were not too crazy expensive. Everyone had an awesome time on our second line and we were SO happy we did it!

We used White Oak Productions to find the perfect band for our wedding reception. They were extremely professional and patient with us (took us a while to make up our minds on which band to choose--we went back and forth quite a bit!). We ended up choosing Figure Eight--a motown band--and we could not be happier with this choice! We had a very diverse crowd at our party--all age groups were represented, and half of the guests were from Europe--Figure Eight had EVERYONE dancing (even the notorious non-dancers!). They took special requests and let us play our own CD during the breaks so our guests could perform their traditional Serbian dances. We continue to get compliments on our band! They were wonderful!
