White Oaks Barn

The venue is gorgeous and classy while being very down to earth and natural. It is a perfect spot for so many different themes. There was practically no stress with decor and seating with plenty of room and a storage room full of items to add to the event. Margaret and her crew were very helpful with answering any question to come up.

This family was so great to work with! They were so personal and were eager to meet me every time I needed to see inside their venue. They had so many decorations available for me to use, free of charge. For example, chalkboards, lanterns, signs, whiskey barrels, decorative tables, cupcake stands, lighted trees, etc! This venue was easy on my pocketbook. I loved that they already had table clothes and chair covers there for me to rent because I didn't have to worry about renting them from another vendor. This venues air conditioning kept my 400 guests cool during the June heat. Since I had such a large amount of guests, I liked that I didn't have to worry about them getting hot in there as I know some places AC doesn't always work the best for large amounts of people. I was given a package when I first signed my contract of various vendors around which made it less stressful for me because I didn't have to search for them on my own. Lastly, I LOVE THERE OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER! While I didn't use it for my wedding because I was married in a local church, we did use it for our pictures and the pictures from it are breathtaking! My guests also really enjoyed using the amphitheater for their own pictures with their dates.

White Oaks Barn was the most beautiful place to get married at! Not only was it a beautiful venue, but the staff was also super kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help with anything we needed from the day we booked the venue all the way to the wedding day! I would recommend this venue for any large event or wedding. My experience with White Oaks Barn was exceptional.

I will be honest I was a little nervous about booking with them at first since they were new to the business. When we first started talking about booking with them the had not even broken ground yet, that was a little nerve racking since I know how things can go wrong on large construction projects. However there was something about the owners that just kept drawing me back to their venue, It was enough that we signed the paperwork and paid our deposit before they had even broken ground yet. The owners were very professional and friendly, they kept us updated throughout the entire build process. Once the venue was completed and we walked through it, all I can say is that it breathtaking inside and out. They did a wonderful job decorating and planning everything down to the finest detail. The price for this breathtaking venue is breathtaking as well but in a good way, their prices are very reasonable especially for all that was included such as access to their decorations. The owners great from start to finish they made the entire process easy for us. I would strongly suggest using this venue for an indoor or outdoor wedding and/or a place for your reception.

Gorgeous facility, owned and operated by a great family! I just wish it would of been around a few years ago when my boys got married, it would of saved a lot of hours of decorating because the White Oak Barn is gorgeous on its own. I helped organize and plan the Purrfect Tale fundraiser at this venue for the Adair County Humane Society. Great venue for weddings or any other event.

I recently played a wedding reception at this venue and it was my first experience playing music at White Oaks Barn. I have to say that the facility is fantastic! It is truly a beautiful setting for a Wedding, Wedding Reception or any event! the owners and staff were very helpful, friendly and very professional. They had plenty of room for a large crowd of reception guests and my full sound and light setup! I would say this venue is now at the top of my list of preferred places to play in Northeast Missouri!

I have helped with a couple weddings at White Oaks Barn, including taking pictures at one, & I have to say that the Minear's have done a wonderful job creating a beautiful spot to have an indoor or outdoor wedding! It is elegant yet rustic, handicap accessible, has a versatile color scheme & the amphitheater with the lake as a backdrop show they have really put a lot of time & attention into every detail to make sure that White Oaks Barn can be compatible with any couple that would chose their venue.

This venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful! From directing parking to washing dishes, they were willing to help wherever we needed them in order to help my friend's wedding reception go off as smoothly as possible.

Mine and my new husband’s experience at White Oaks and with the owners Margaret and her family was absolutely incredible. They were such a joy to work with and the venue is simply stunning. They went above and beyond to make our day so special by being accommodating, helpful, and so kind. We loved having our wedding reception there and tons of our guests raved about it as well! I HIGHLY recommend choosing White Oaks for your special event.

White Oaks Barn reception venue made for a beautiful and rustic evening. The building was beautiful and accommodating for the large number of guests as well as the wedding party during the day. Samantha and Margaret were great! They answered all of our questions and worked with us to get everything sorted and running smoothly. They even helped with cleanup at the end of the party! It was such a fun night and the White Oaks barn staff made everything so much more relaxing and enjoyable!
