My husband and I were really pleased with White Pines' already-existing repertoire--beautiful classical music, and really fun arrangements of popular songs (we never expected that we'd get to have a Sigur Ros song for our wedding party's processional!). When we were deciding on a song for us to walk down the aisle to, we requested an arrangement of a kind of obscure song that we both love and White Pines emailed us back almost instantaneously--they could get the arrangement (for a surprisingly reasonable fee!) and were happy to play it for us. That kind of service was above and beyond what we could have expected. Michelle was incredibly lovely to work with--extremely responsive and informative, and dedicated to making sure the quartet was incorporated smoothly and stress-free into our ceremony. The planning stage was in-depth and thoughtful, which meant that, on the day of the wedding, Michelle and the other musicians were able to set up and get ready without adding an ounce of worry to our day. (We especially appreciated Michelle working with us and our officiant to make sure all of our questions were answered.) All of the musicians were extraordinarily professional--even when a couple of minutes of surprise rain interrupted our cocktail hour. We couldn't recommend White Pines more to add a special touch to a ceremony!

, we did a hand fasting ceremony and picked an Irish song that was played lightly while each parent came and wrapped a ribbon around our hands. Every song started and stopped perfectly and they coordinated with our officiant so we didn't have to provide any instructions on cues etc. Our guests said they were impressed and enjoyed having live music to listen to during cocktail hour. Would highly recommend!

I had been working with a different group, Renaissance Strings, (RS) and they were extremely difficult to work with. (I only mention their name because I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through!) Long story short, I ended up having to fire RS two weeks out from my wedding date because they didn't listen to me and they weren't respectful of my opinion. I've literally never fired anyone in my life, but I was so sick of being treated badly. I found White Pines and literally hired them less than two weeks out from my wedding! It was an amazing difference working with White Pines. They listened to everything I had to say, they gave me so many options for music, and let me completely customize my day. White Pines went above and beyond for me! I was shocked at how amazing they were. I was communicating with Michelle at White Pines, who was extremely nice, professional, responded to emails fast, and above all, I could tell that she actually cared about what I had to say, which was so welcome after having such a negative experience with RS. Michelle was very caring, supportive, and accommodating. What took me weeks to accomplish with RS was solved in one simple email with Michelle. On the day of my wedding, White Pines played an absolutely beautiful set of music. Everyone complimented them. I got to walk down the aisle to my song, and it was pure magic. I can't say enough good things about Michelle & the White Pines team. I will be forever grateful that they were able to help me so last minute & that they did an absolutely phenomenal job! Please hire them for your wedding, you'll be so happy that you did!

The musicians traveled all the way to The Toledo Zoo in the middle of a snow storm, we can’t thank them enough! I emailed her around 9 pm and before the night was over she had responded with a quote and song list. The next morning I had an invoice and agreement in hand. She was quick to respond to every question and was able to accommodate every song I asked for- including a duet with a friend of mine who sang Ave Maria by her side.
