Little did I know that on May 3, 2018, my daughter Kara and my husband had planned a surprise wedding vow renewal ceremony, reception and honeymoon for our 30th wedding anniversary...
.
I was asked to find a cream colored dress for a “Formal Ball” that Kara had tickets to. Appointments were made for us to get our hair and nails done as well. I was told that on our way to the “Formal”, we were going to stop and take pictures.
A horse and carriage awaited our arrival. I was quickly whisked away with my husband to take pictures. Small signs were made that Kerry used that said “I love you ~ Best 30 years~ Will you marry me again?”
Such a surprise when we arrived at the gazebo overlooking the lake. Decorated with beautiful flowers, long sprays of fabric, flickering candles in the wind, and forty of our closest family and friends awaiting me and my Prince Charming. It was a beautiful ceremony that was blessed by God's presence and anointing. My loving husband and children by our side along with our family and friends helped us celebrate the amazing memories that had been 30 years in the making. It was arranged that our church pastor was there and performed our ceremony. Even the best man from 30 years ago was there to celebrate with us!
From the Bride’s dress, horse and carriage ride, flowers, music, reception, food, cake, the guest list, signage, music, instrumental three-piece quartet, photographer, perfect location and a new anniversary ring. No details were left unturned. Kara even shopped for the items to pack with all the clothing items, bathing suits, sundresses, and anything extra that I would need for our surprise exotic island honeymoon. Everything was absolutely breathtaking!
