Whiteface Hollow is simply the BEST! This was the first venue we toured after inquiring about so many, it was truly love at first sight. We continued to look at others to have something to compare it to, however nothing measured up and we knew that we had to come back for a second tour. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we decided this was the perfect place to start our forever. The venue is stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and beautifully maintained landscape that provided an elegant woodsy backdrop for our special day. If you’re lucky enough to catch one, the sunsets here are also exceptional.
This is a family owned and operated venue, and it shows by how much they care. Jazz and Adam went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly all weekend long. Their patience is unmatched (thank you for putting up with our crazy crowd, even when we were a handful) and their attention to detail and commitment to making our vision a reality was truly impressive. We can’t thank them enough- seriously! They were always available to answer questions and offer suggestions, which made the planning process much less stressful.
There are so many great qualities about Whiteface Hollow, but the big ticket is getting to enjoy the space from Thursday-Sunday. This is something you don’t find often in a venue, but it made our experience truly amazing. Having the extra time to set up, clean up, and host rehearsal dinner on property was so nice. It allowed us the whole weekend to celebrate our big day with our closest people! A weekend we will never forget.
This venue also allows the choosing of your own catering and supplying your own alcohol, so we were able to curate our day to fit our personalities exactly how we wanted. Our guests are still raving about the atmosphere, food, and open bar. It was an unforgettable experience and we are so grateful to Jazz and Adam for making our wedding day so magical.
We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a customizable, dreamy wedding location. The people who own it are just the cherry on top of a wonderful experience!

Whiteface Hollow is a stunning rustic wine vineyard estate and picturesque wedding venue in South Tamworth, New Hampshire. Set in the Lakes Region amid the White Mountain National Forest, the 25-acre estate with acres of meadows offers stunning views of the rolling countryside and distant mountains for couples and guests who choose to say “I do” here - offering space for: Rehearsal, Ceremony, Reception, Brunch & Accommodations.
Facilities and Capacity:
Couples may use Whiteface Hollow’s restored historic barn, winery tasting room and farmhouse, which has roots dating to the 1820s, for modern rustic wedding receptions that can accommodate up to 200 guests. The fully restored barn, painted a chic shade of deep grey with bright barn shutters, includes a built-in bar that may serve as two serving areas —one inside and one outside. Enjoy the jaw-dropping scenery from multiple outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour location options and experience the stunning sunsets and nature trail. The winery tasting room is also a perfect location for a rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch accommodating an additional 30-40. In total, Whiteface Hollow offers a trio of event spaces: uncovered outdoor and indoors. Couples have the flexibility to host brunch, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Accommodations:
With exclusive access for an extended weekend (think Thursday to Sunday), couples and their attendants may enjoy the Whiteface Hollow space before, during, and after the wedding. The farmhouse has four bedrooms and three bathrooms to comfortably accommodate your wedding party (sleeps up to 12).
Services Offered:
We offer you exclusive access to this private estate for an extended weekend stay allowing you the privacy, freedom and flexibility to create the perfect wedding day at Whiteface Hollow with vendors of your choice or choose from one of three different, service packages to fit your planning needs. The talented staff can also assist with event planning, or work closely with an outside event planner you’ve hired.
Location:
Parking is available for up to 90 cars at this expansive estate. The area surrounding Whiteface Hollow draws hikers, campers, bikers, and others who enjoy using the outdoors to its fullest. Additionally, there are great cultural, shopping, and dining choices, too. Nearby areas also are home to many other forms of accommodations, like B&Bs, private rentals, and hotels. The Whiteface Hollow team also operates a vineyard on the property and will open a winery in the future.

ut the place truly exceeded our expectations. It was so special being able to have our immediate families staying on site with us at the farmhouse to help set up. And the barn is simply gorgeous. Even though it rained on and off on our wedding day, the misty views were beautiful and the barn was the perfect place to celebrate.

and only venue we looked at because the second my husband and I walked on the property, we knew it was the one. We loved the ability to make it our own by being able to choose our vendors and stay on-site for the whole weekend. Jazz and Adam (the owners) were so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I never felt worried or overwhelmed about the venue or vendors. It truly exceeded my expectations and was a dream. The views alone make this venue top-notch. Add in the new winery, stunning refurbished barn, and farmhouse, and it is hard to beat this venue. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants picturesque mountain views, choice in vendors, and the ability to really enjoy and soak in a whole weekend not just a few hours. We had the whole venue from thursday-sunday which helped us to relax and soak up every moment leading up to, during, and after our wedding. This place is so full of love, and the views are absolutely stunning. We cannot thank Jazz and Jen enough for giving us a day we will never forget.

r tour in September 2020, we met the previous owners (who were still absolutely amazing), but when WFH changed ownership a few months before our wedding, we were even more blown away! The transition in ownership was flawless, and Jazz and Adam are great to work with. They are communicative, warm, and are more than happy to help you with suggestions along the way. The venue itself is truly magical. Immediately, you are greeted with peace and quiet and a stunning view of the mountains, which was particularly magical at sunset the day before our wedding! You get the entire property to yourself from Thursday to Sunday, and we were able to host our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, and reception all on-site. My husband even snuck in a day-of Wiffle ball game on the front lawn! The property also includes use of the farmhouse, which accommodated my bridal party and me during the weekend and hair and makeup as we got ready on the big day. If you are looking for a blank canvas to really personalize YOUR day, look no further than WFH. You will not be disappointed.

nd the stars are absolutely gorgeous! Arriving at the property, you can tell the space is something special and is even better than the pictures! Renting the tasting room is a must have for the wedding party or even for the rehearsal dinner the night before. The farmhouse and tasting room have AC for those hot summer days to keep you cool while getting ready!
The venue itself has a high price point and is more DIY than most other venues - including setting up your chairs for the day of events (ceremony & reception) and fully cleaning all the buildings on the property prior to leaving (which can be daunting after a long wedding night)! The venue has different package options that include additional vendors, adding on bartenders and a day of coordinator. It was great having amazing people who already knew the venue and how to help make it the best! Having the property to set up for a few days before really helped to not have to rush around on the morning of the big day. Everything aside, it really was the most spectacular backdrop to what proved to be the most amazing wedding day that we could have hoped for!

hen, we were struck by how beautiful it was - and the property in the summer did not disappoint. It was stunning.
During the intervening time, we had several planning meetings with Jennifer and her planning staff. They were always very supportive, shared our enthusiasm, and weighed in with their experience to help us make the best decisions possible.
On the weekend of, we enjoyed everything the venue had to offer. The farmhouse was filled with our friends who helped us with final preparations and kept us company on the nights before. It was so nice to have a cozy place to stay and get ready for the big day without stressing about travel to the final spot. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the barn to its fullest, packing it with our loved ones and dancing the night away. Jennifer and team were very accommodating and flexible throughout helping us realize our dream vision with her experience and input.
Our only word of notice to anyone looking at this venue is that tables and decoration setup/breakdown is not provided by the venue. You’ll need to either hire help for that or enlist your trusted friends and family like we did!
But that in no way diminished our experience and I don’t think we would have changed a thing about it!
We loved Jennifer, the venue and cannot recommend it enough!

ackdrop of the White Mountains. Rain or shine, you're guaranteed to find some of the most stunning shots in all of New Hampshire on this little parcel of paradise.
John and Jennifer were incredibly accommodating for all of our needs, answered questions, and even provided suggestions when I was struggling with decisions. They showed up early on the big day and went right to work helping the vendors with everything they needed. Everything was easy to find, clearly labeled, and the organization of the entire venue was exceptional.
I think what really blew me away was all the small extra touches and care they put in to making everything perfect - the thoughtful card, the cute s'mores container that came with our fire starter kit, the text message a year before with beautiful pictures of the venue and a kind message. It truly is the perfect place to create a once in a lifetime memory and I'm so glad we were able to take advantage of the unparalleled beauty of this land and its generous hosts.

Once we decided on WFH and officially signed the venue, Jennifer provided us a planning packet that was super helpful along the way. This included preferred vendors, table seating layouts and more.
We had our wedding on May 21st of this year and it was the best time I could have ever imagined. I often say “Can we do it again?!” Because it was the best time in the BEST place.
We’ll be heading back when the winery is up and running so we can reminisce and make new memories!

we arrived to tour the property, we were completely wowed - before we even got out of the car, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The sweeping mountain views, gorgeous barn and secluded location were exactly what we were looking for. Meeting Jennifer sealed the deal for us. She instantly made us feel comfortable, answering all of our (MANY!) questions, and even thinking of things we wouldn't have even thought to ask.
Leading up to the wedding, the owners were super responsive to any questions we had, and made sure it was a stress-free planning experience.
Our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed of and more. Being able to use the property for the full weekend and stay in the GORGEOUS renovated farmhouse on the property was a huge plus for us. We hosted our rehearsal dinner on site in the winery tasting room space as well (we brought in a food truck and bartender - so much fun!) We loved getting the extra time with our loved ones, and having so many spaces on the property helped us create a really unique weekend.
The wedding day was incredible! From our ceremony with the mountain views, to our cocktail hour on the lawn and our reception in the barn, Whiteface Hollow was truly the perfect backdrop. We also appreciated that Jennifer was on hand to help ensure the day went smoothly, along with our fabulous day-of coordinator.
We are so glad we chose Whiteface Hollow and would do it again if we could!

l, hike and adventure so we wanted our wedding to have that adventurous spirit to it and this place did exactly that. The owner, Jennifer, is the other reason we selected this venue. She is the sweetest soul and made us feel like family instantly. She is personable and super friendly. She lets you do your thing and bring your vision to life. I loved staying there for the whole weekend (Thursday to Sunday). It allowed us to settle in and get a lot setup before the wedding day without stress. Most of our guests were blown away by the Mountain View’s especially at sunset. We had great feedback from people saying it was the best wedding they had been to and fell in love with the place just like we did. We stayed at the most adorable farmhouse on the property which was perfect for the girls to get ready at the morning of the wedding. Jennifer was so helpful and caring and made us feel special throughout the process. Even after the wedding was over! I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. If you are looking for the most magical setting go check out Whiteface Hollow. You will likely cancel all your following tours upon visiting like we did. 🙂

r a dreamy, mountain, barn wedding (and who isn't?), this is definitely the place. When our florist arrived, she said that it was the most beautiful venue she had ever been to! Our guests raved about the views - all of their photos from the wedding are their new profile pictures. An added bonus was that our families could stay at the farmhouse on the property - it was a fun way to have everyone together and have a little barbecue the night before.
We would be remiss not to mention how amazing Jennifer and John were. We were in constant contact with Jennifer, and she was so helpful (and we had a LOT of questions, as we didn't hire a wedding planner). They hosted us for a visit to show us the property, gave us a thorough walkthrough of EVERYTHING before the wedding, and were on-call throughout! Despite not having a planner, our wedding went perfectly and without a hitch (except ours ;) ) - we definitely attribute much of that to the helpfulness of Jennifer and John.

From the Farmhouse where we stayed with our siblings to the Taproom where we hosted friends and family for a welcome dinner the night prior to our wedding to the beautiful ceremony tree and mountain backdrop for our "I dos" and of course the barn itself. I am sure it is beautiful in spring and summer but it was absolutely stunning for our October wedding and I couldn't count how many of our guests commented on our choice of venue (and posted pics of themselves and their families in this beautiful setting.) We chose the package with the day of coordinator and bar staff included and couldn't have been happier with the whole team. Friendly and helpful throughout the whole process - our wedding day was everything I could have hoped for and more. Thank you!!

andemic. We decided to book Whiteface Hollow before actually visiting the venue, trusting our amazing parents that it was a gem. It sure was.
We ended up renting the entire property inclusive of the stunning new vineyard tasting room and the adorable farmhouse, which looks like it's straight out of Town & Country magazine. The entire family was able to stay right on property, just a stones throw from the gorgeous historic barn allowing us ample time to prep for the big day.
I have so many incredible memories from our wedding weekend, and am truly so grateful to John and Jennifer for being such accommodating, personable, friendly hosts.
I can't wait to visit again!

The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING -- we were lucky enough to have a beautiful day of weather, and the sunset across the property was unbelievable. The renovated barn is gorgeous, as is the farmhouse where our families were able to stay on site and the newly built vineyard tasting room where we hosted our rehearsal dinner. It is clear how much time and care has gone into renovating and maintaining the property. So many of our guests complimented the beauty and warmth that the entire property exudes. ommended you take a serious look at the Signature package, it is the best value and takes into account everything you might need for a fabulous wedding weekend. Our family moved into the beautiful and wonderfully equipped Farmhouse on Thursday afternoon. We spent Friday morning decorating the incredible barn to our liking. It didn't need much, as it is gorgeous on its own. Friday afternoon after the rehearsal family and friends enjoyed a BBQ at the vineyard. Saturday morning was very relaxed as the woman in bridal party enjoyed a delicious brunch provided by WFH followed by getting their hair done and makeup applied. My daughter chose to hold the ceremony under "The Wedding Tree". What a backdrop for gorgeous photos, surrounded by mountains. There was not a dry eye as she made her way to the ceremony from the "Writers Shed" walking through a field of flowers ( there was a mowed path) with Tom Petty's Wildflowers playing in the background. In addition to the natural beauty of Whiteface Hollow, the three structures on the property are impeccably renovated with all of the bells and whistles without taking anything away from the natural, rustic feel of the property. We really loved that our package allowed us access to the property Thursday-Sunday so that we could spend the weekend making memories there with our closest friends.
Jennifer and her husband John have thought of everything when it comes to making your celebration. The planning process can be difficult, but the WFH team really helped us feel confident going into our weekend.
WFH was truly the perfect canvas on which to create the authentic wedding of our dreams.

vendors! I am what you call a last minute and unorganized bride. Jennifer was there every step of the way to help answer all my questions! She spent hours walking me around the property! I know she does that for every couple, which says a lot!
Jennifer and John are so organized and have every detail figured out so we can spend our weekend at Whiteface Hollow not worrying about the small things!!
SO many people complimented the venue. It truly is the most picturesque place to have a wedding! I would not trade our wedding at Whiteface Hollow for anything!

the second venue that we visited during our search, and although I had imagined visiting many locations before making my decision I immediately fell in love with the grounds and knew it was the perfect spot for our whimsical, bohemian wedding. Jennifer and John (the owners) gave us a tour of the property which included a barn, a farmhouse, their new winery and beautiful mountain views! It was apparent during our first meeting with them that they were very experienced and knew exactly what was needed to ensure a perfect wedding weekend. Once we secured our date, Jennifer sent us a planning packet that was absolutely essential to my wedding planning. The packet included a vast list of vendors that were familiar with the venue and were top quality. Almost all of the vendors that I used came from that packet, or were recommended to me by the Day of Coordinator, Mandy that we were fortunate enough to get through our event package with Whiteface. Planning a wedding with the support of both Jennifer and our Day of Coordinator was super easy as they were always available to answer any questions I may have. They were also extremely helpful when we realized that we were going to get some unexpected rain on the wedding day! Despite the rain, my wedding at Whiteface Hollow turned out to be better than I ever could have expected. Don’t think twice about securing this venue for your wedding day. You won’t regret it!

They care so much about the property and have been nothing short of amazing to us. utiful place that it is. They have thought of every little detail to make the day perfect! Working with them was like working with family friends, they were very personal and not like some giant company. They take the time to get to know you. They even texted us a picture of the property on our wedding day a year prior. How thoughtful!
A few months before the wedding, we were close to cancelling due to COVID, but we met with John and Jennifer and they told us about all of the measures they were taking to make it a COVID safe wedding (hand sanitizing stations throughout the barn, tables 6 feet apart, a well ventilated barn, option to have the event outside, deep cleaning after each event, I could go on). The wedding went off without a hitch and guests felt very safe because of the efforts put in place. They also kept us updated as rules changed regarding large gatherings in N.H.
In addition to this, their pricing very fair! We felt like we really got our monies worth. We first visited the venue in the middle of January when there was multiple feet of snow covering the property, but regardless, we fell in love. One of the main things that sold us, aside for the absolutely stunning view and jaw dropping sunsets, was the fact that we get the entire venue from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and you get to stay in the beautiful farmhouse right on the property! We never left all weekend! We had our ceremony outside under a giant beautiful tree. We even had our rehearsal dinner there. At the end of the wedding night, it was so great to just be able to walk 50 feet and be at the house. The wedding party stayed there too and it made for such a fun weekend. Another great thing about this venue is that you get to plan things the way you want them! You don’t have super strict rules in place or hidden fees. Throughout the weekend you can call the owners up (who live a few miles from the venue) if an issue arises. Our guests raved about the location.
All in all, it was the most perfect day!! We got married in October so there was lots of foliage and leaves spread over the ground. There are bistro lights that hang throughout the barn and outside that give the venue a magical, cozy vibe. Every picture taken came out amazing! You have so many beautiful backdrops. The entire day was magical. Straight out of a wedding magazine! I can only imagine how beautiful it must be on a summer night there! The perfect location for multiple seasons. You won’t regret choosing Whiteface Hollow! We can’t wait to visit the Vineyard when it opens.

ng our day the best it could possibly be. Their responses were quick, expectations were exceeded and they offer a very wide range of package options/price ranges to meet individual wants/needs. We can’t stress enough how well they have put extensive thought and planning into every aspect of their gorgeous property. The farmhouse is absolutely stunning and offers a unique twist to a classic wedding venue that you normally would only rent for one day. All the packages come with access to the entire property from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, with ample room for a dozen or so exclusive guests to stay for the weekend (normally the wedding party). In all honesty, this reduced the normal stressors of a wedding significantly. We never felt rushed to get setup or cleanup since we had a significant amount of time where the venue was completely ours. Still feeling stressed? Go have a glass of wine in front of the vineyard and watch the sunset over the Sandwich mountain range.
We had concerns due to the COVID pandemic and nearly decided to postpone our wedding, until we learned everything John and Jennifer were doing to address the issue. Hand sanitizer is located throughout the barn and when the doors are open, a nice breeze comes through. Everything is sanitized after each party leaves. They have even come up with multiple different seating plans to maintain social distancing for varying wedding sizes. Should there be folks that are at higher risk for COVID, the winery tasting room can be opened for additional seating that’s away from the barn. We felt very comfortable proceeding with the event once we knew extensive precautions were being taken.
Whiteface Hollow was by far the best venue we could’ve asked for on our big day and we can’t thank John and Jennifer enough. Schedule a visit of the property and you won’t look back!

e guests at my daughter's wedding felt safe, especially given all of the COVID restrictions, and at the same time making sure that everyone could still have a great time! Since we were not from the area, I really had no idea where to begin choosing a caterer, florist, limo, etc., but luckily Jennifer provided a list of vendors, and I have to say that we stuck to that list, and everyone that we used was fantastic! Carolyn was our wedding coordinator and she was super helpful, so easy to work with, and really did everything for me the day of the wedding. I couldn't have done it without her! As this is our fourth child to get married, I can honestly say that we have never had so many guests rave about a venue! I would highly recommend Whiteface Hollow!

Our ceremony was held at St. Charles Borromeo in Meredith, so there were some extra logistics that we needed to address. John and Jennifer shared a thorough list of top vendors in the area, as well as suggestions/tips to guide us in our planning every step of the way. We truly couldn't have pulled off a socially-distant, COVID wedding without them! Carolyn Hemingway was fantastic as our day of coordinator (included in our package); her strong attention to detail and background in event planning ensured the entire weekend ran smoothly, and she was SO GOOD about keeping everything on schedule and managing vendors before and during the wedding.
The grounds including the barn and brand new tasting room at Whiteface Hollow were perfect for our guests to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and mountain views (while maintaining social distances). The farmhouse is so thoughtfully laid out and has everything you and your bridal party would need for your big weekend. We could go on and on about how amazing our experience and our guests' experience was at Whiteface Hollow. If we had to do it all over again, there's no doubt we'd choose Whiteface Hollow!!! It truly is a special place.

es on the windows or locks on the doors in the downstairs bedroom of the farmhouse as well as no lock on the downstairs bathroom of the farmhouse. The A/C did not work upstairs the night that we needed it. Jennifer was very open to and appreciative of the feedback that we gave her when checking out and planned on addressing these items. The contract stated that owners were not typically on site for the wedding and that notice would be given if the need arose. Jennifer was on site during the wedding and we were surprised at this. This could have been due to the circumstances of the pandemic. She was very helpful and even ran out to get ice for us so it wasn't a problem but I thought I would mention it. Overall the grounds, barn, and farmhouse are absolutely beautiful and the owners are very nice and helpful to deal with . We would definitely rent this venue again without hesitation! We were sad for the weekend to come to an end!

The barn was gorgeous, pristine, and well built/wired so that you can choose any DJ, florist, and caterer that you would like. The venue owners also work with a top notch wedding day coordinator! The mountain, winery, and treeline views are unmatched, and being able to use the property three days and three nights is incredible. My bridal party felt right at home . I strongly recommend this venue to any bride looking for the perfect NH/rustic wedding!
