Beautiful venue to get married. We had a gorgeous day and I can’t wait to see how our pictures turned out
We had our ceremony and reception at Whitehall and I highly recommend them for your wedding. Carol was very helpful and responded quickly to any of my questions, especially when we...
thought there was a chance of rain on the day of. The spaces for getting ready the day of are wonderful and the staff were there to help us with anything we needed. The space is absolutely stunning in the gardens, unlike anything else I had seen. Our wedding looked like a fairytale.
I could not have picked a better place to have my wedding. It was absolutely everything I could have dreamed of and more, and I couldn't have done it without Whitehall. Anne and Me...
rrill were such a pleasure to work with, and the site manager, Rob, was our day-of representative and he was always around if we every needed anything. The ceremony space was gorgeous, the only thing I wish I would have changed was that since it is located in a residential area, it was kind of hard to hear the officiant without a microphone since one of the house's air conditioning vent was a little loud. The house is absolutely stunning to take pictures in. The outdoor reception was also beautiful. The last thing I'd comment on is that there are very limited options for approved vendors, and I wish there were more a variety to choose from, especially for rentals.
Whitehall was the perfect venue for our fall wedding. We had a cocktail party style reception inside the mansion with about 150 guests, and the weather allowed us to set up the ba...
r and several tables on the front and side porches. Our guests mingled in the mansion comfortably, and could also stroll through the grounds and gardens at their leisure. The rates were reasonable, the staff was impeccable, and the venue is beautiful. Highly recommend!
Whitehall is the best place you can imagine for a wedding ceremony & reception. The garden is gorgeous and the mansion is great as well. Ladies working at Whitehall are very helpfu...
l and nice! Thank you, Whitehall for my beautiful wedding!
Amazing venue. Very pleased with the everything that came with the venue. The grounds keeper was absolutely amazing and accommodating.
I had my ceremony and my reception here and everything was just beautiful. In June everything is in full bloom and so green that I barely needed any flowers to add to the natural d...
ecor. We were able to get ready and get our hair and makeup done in the house the morning of my wedding and it made things so much easier than rushing around to hair salons and whatnot. It was truly the day of my dreams.
Having our reception in the mansion was the best decision we made. It was gorgeous and all our guests were complimentary of the stunning home and gardens! Also, the staff was more ...
than accomodating and very kind! It was simply an amazing day and the staff of Whitehall helped it to become that way!
Pros:
Staff cordial and accommodating. Venue beautiful.
Cons: We were told that it would be ok to pick up leftover items the following morning, but when we got there they we...

We were married late Sept. @ Whitehall & it was gorgeous the staff was so kind. Merrell is a dream to work with.
Seriously the most beautiful place. Our pictures turned out fantastic. Worth the price!
Thanks to all of the Whitehall staff our wedding was perfect. They made the day stress free and helped out whenever possible.
My small wedding was to be in their beautiful gardens and the reception inside the mansion. It rained so the ceremony was held on their huge front porch which worked out lovely. I ...
love Whitehall and their contact, Merrill Simmons was lovely to work with. I would give 5 stars except, when I arrived, there was still the huge tent up from the previous nights wedding. We weren't using a tent and it blocks the beauty of the gardens. Though they removed all the chairs and side panels the tent was not going to come down, which was disappointing but I did not let it ruin my day and everything was lovely and beautiful. I spoke with Merrill later in the week and they gave us a partail refund stating the tent should have been taken down for us. I would highly recommend Whitehall.
I could not have designed a more perfect wedding venue if I tried.
Having our wedding at Whitehall was exactly what I wanted. The house has so much character and is so unique. The wedding coordinator there was more than helpful with scheduling a...
nd suggesting other vendors. Just remember that the house is old and reflects its age, which I love, but is not for everyone. It's also very affordable.
It was perfect. Used the gardens for my ceremony and the house for the reception. The house can truly fit about 75 with the hallway as the dance floor. If you're wanting a dance fl...
oor in front of the fireplace, probably about 60 people. Outside you'd have room for about 200.
Whitehall is a beautiful location, but the problem is that you pay $3400 for rental, which basically includes nothing but the house and the grounds. Then they require you to use sp...
ecific vendors, which makes your cost go up.
Basically, if you have the money to use, it is a beautiful location, although the "coordinators" dont really help with much.
This is a gorgeous old house that was perfect for my wedding. Even though the inside is great we did an outside wedding in October and I loved it. We experienced excellent custom...
er service which is part of the reason we booked the place to begin with. I highly recommend Whitehall. They were really easy to work with when it came to meetings on the grounds and letting us take pictures for my bridal portrait. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Whitehall again. The gardens are BEAUTIFUL!
