Whitetail Resort

We had out wedding on Aug 18, 2018 at the Whitetail Golf Resort and we loved it! Awesome views, very cozy, breezy and beautiful! Outstanding service, food, and everyone was very helpful and on top of things! Highly recommend it for the wedding venue (the dining room can sit up to 72 guests I recall)

The venue itself is rustic and beautiful at a very affordable price. However my poor review is due to the poor communication and follow through of the sales/event coordinator whom totally ghosted me and dropped the ball after my initial request for info and scheduling a walk through. It’s been over 4 months and still haven’t heard anything! I ended up finding the perfect venue elsewhere.

Whitetail Resort was definitely an answer to my prayers. My husband was deployed to Afghanistan for almost all of our engagement, with the wedding being just a short month after his return to the states. On top of that, he was stationed in Idaho, so I was forced to plan a wedding on the east coast while moving to the west coast, all while barely having any communication with my husband-to-be. The event coordinator at Whitetail made the entire process SO easy and simple. She took to heart everything that I said, and worked so well with our special situation. The price is unbeatable, especially considering everything that is included. The area is GORGEOUS, so beautiful that we held our wedding at the ski lodge, and used their golf resort for our rehearsal dinner. The cook is phenomenal; it was hands down the best food I had ever been served. The service was truly amazing, with each and every staff member going above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, the staff were so attentive to every need, even ones unknown to me! In one of our meetings, I had mentioned to the event coordinator my husbands favorite beer and my favorite wine, and to my surprise we each had a cup of our favorites already in front of us when we sat down at our wedding! The event coordinator is absolutely on top of everything, as are the staff. They are professional yet so friendly I had felt like I had known them my whole life. I could go on forever about Whitetail, but these are definitely some of my greatest examples of how exceptional they are. They truly made our wedding come together despite all the obstacles, and I will forever be thankful for the wonderful job they did!

From the beginning, I received excellent service from the staff at whitetail. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the padio and an elegant reception inside the lodge. The food was delicious and the evening ran pretty smoothly with the help of our wedding coordinator Nicole. We had roughly 160 guests for the reception which stretched the inside venue to the limit although I believe my guests were very comfortable. Whitetail is a wonderful venue to have a fall wedding with beautiful views of the valley.
