About Whitetail Mountain Resort
Whitetail resort is a secluded wedding venue located in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. We are surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains and rolling hills of our golf course that are the perfect setting on your wedding day. The accommodating and professional staff at Whitetail Resort provide personalized attention from start to finish.
Facilities and Capacity
Whitetail Resort can accommodate up to 200 wedding guests in its indoor and outdoor event spaces. The resort offers 3 events locations to host bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, vow renewals, elopements and ceremonies and receptions.
From our Industrial style Marketplace to the Modern-style Solstice both overlooking the mountains create a perfect canvas for your wedding day. Lastly, our Fairway room overlooking the views the picturesque golf course are a great choice for a small and intimate event.

o the day before the wedding I had to scramble and change my seating chart. The sign with our names on it was also incorrect and instead of an apology, we received an “ O well, your changing your name today”. Overall it was an ok venue, but not one I would recommend for an absolutely perfect day.

On top of that, he was stationed in Idaho, so I was forced to plan a wedding on the east coast while moving to the west coast, all while barely having any communication with my husband-to-be. The event coordinator at Whitetail made the entire process SO easy and simple. She took to heart everything that I said, and worked so well with our special situation. The price is unbeatable, especially considering everything that is included. The area is GORGEOUS, so beautiful that we held our wedding at the ski lodge, and used their golf resort for our rehearsal dinner. The cook is phenomenal; it was hands down the best food I had ever been served. The service was truly amazing, with each and every staff member going above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, the staff were so attentive to every need, even ones unknown to me! In one of our meetings, I had mentioned to the event coordinator my husbands favorite beer and my favorite wine, and to my surprise we each had a cup of our favorites already in front of us when we sat down at our wedding! The event coordinator is absolutely on top of everything, as are the staff. They are professional yet so friendly I had felt like I had known them my whole life. I could go on forever about Whitetail, but these are definitely some of my greatest examples of how exceptional they are. They truly made our wedding come together despite all the obstacles, and I will forever be thankful for the wonderful job they did!

as delicious and the evening ran pretty smoothly with the help of our wedding coordinator Nicole. We had roughly 160 guests for the reception which stretched the inside venue to the limit although I believe my guests were very comfortable. Whitetail is a wonderful venue to have a fall wedding with beautiful views of the valley.

e also. There is a fire pit and horse shoe pit along with an outside pavilion along with the lodge. The lodge holds a good amount of people and has the just at home feeling. I would recommend this place to anyone as the price can not be beat!!!
The owners are fantastic to work with and are eager to help and meet your needs for your event! Lots of outdoor grounds available for pictures and you cannot beat the price!
Amazing location, the setting is in the woods with streams and flower gardens all over. Great for pictures.
