Whitewater Ridge

This venue is amazing. They even took down some trees by the deck where we had our ceremony so you could see the river. I was also told they are expanding it soon for more weddings. Between the time I booked and the time my wedding came, they switched people running it. The initial woman was amazing. But the other guy, Frank, was terrible. He kept confusing the date of my wedding. He was available when we called him. The initial lady said I could come back and clean everything that was leftover the next morning after the wedding, and still get my deposit. Frank did not feel the same way and called me out to clean the venue with no intent to return my deposit. I cleaned the trash, but did not move any furniture back. He had also threatened several other times to keep my deposit so I’m sure he never had any intention of returning it to me. Not to mention that one of the air conditioners went out and couldn’t be fixed before the wedding so we were sweating to death in the bridal suite. That should have been reason enough to return the deposit given the venue was not in the same condition as when I signed the contract. If you have to work with Frank, I recommend finding another location, otherwise the venue itself is fantastic!
