Stephen is such a talented photographer! From our engagement photos to the wedding day, he made us feel comfortable and natural, which really shows in the final images. His photos are beautiful and genuine, and he captured all the special moments from the day. During our engagement shoot, we were a bit awkward and nervous about posing for photos, but Stephen made us feel at ease. He is friendly, fun, and incredibly easy to talk to. On the wedding day, Stephen did a great job coordinating the first look. It was a special moment between me and my now-husband, and Stephen captured it perfectly. Throughout the ceremony and reception, he was like a fly on the wall—there when you needed him, but never intrusive. We were impressed with how quickly he sent us the sneak peek/teaser album. It was wonderful to see those beautiful moments so soon after the wedding. The full online album was delivered within the promised timeline, and the photos are simply amazing. Stephen is the absolute best!! He was so great to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. He was so fun during all of our events - engagement pictures, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. He is timely in responses to emails, is very knowledgeable in everything about weddings, and makes you feel supported throughout the whole process. If you're thinking about Whiting Photography, do not think anymore just do it. Stephen and his team were absolutely AMAZING. From start to finish I cannot do anything but sing his praises. My husband hates taking pictures and in every single one Stephen managed to make him have the biggest smile. Everyone in our family could not get over how incredible our pictures turned out and how funny, kind, talented and just outstanding Stephen was. He seriously fit right in with us! It was Stephen and his assistant Jason photographing our wedding of approx 150 guests and i kid you not there was a beautiful picture of every single person there. It was crazy how there was two of them and they seemed to capture every single thing that was going on. It’s hard to put into words just how much of a positive impact Stephen made on our wedding day. Stephen is incredibly personable, making anyone who might be self-conscious in front of the camera feel at ease. He went above and beyond with checking in on us throughout our own planning process, and ensured that he had notes of everything that we wanted captured. From our engagement shoot, to the communication and timeline organization, to the BIG day- he was such a pleasure to work with and we are so in love with all of our sneak peaks so far. Stephen was the very first vendor we contacted after we booked our venue - he had photographed my best friend’s wedding and immediately I knew we had to have him for ours. Since the very start Stephen was nothing but kind, helpful and friendly. He was so easy to work with and made our wedding day so seamless. Stephen was the best decision my husband and I made in our wedding planning process. He truly made all my wedding photo dreams come true. He met with us before hand and was kind, enthusiastic, and just so genuine. The first look and wedding portraits we took before our ceremony is a memory we will both never forget. I’m not sure I can put into words how grateful my husband and I are for Stephen. First off- he is a true gentleman. Stephen is so kind, helpful, professional and passionate- everyone adored him! Not only is he a fabulous photographer, but he was also the saving grace that kept us to the timeline and he also navigated dealing with some interesting wedding party/ family personalities like a complete pro. His eye for photography is phenomenal. I have never met anyone so utterly talented. You can see and feel the emotion in every single photo. The colors in his photos are so vibrant. I can honestly say, the best decision we made for our wedding (after deciding to marry one another) was selecting Stephen as our photographer. From the beginning he demonstrated professionalism, kindness and an obvious passion for his craft which speaks for itself in his photos. He absolutely nailed our engagement session and we were so excited to see what he would do on our wedding day. The day we had envisioned slowly slipped away as the weather was calling for heavy rain and we feared everything we worked so hard for would be a wash, Stephen wasn't going to let that happen. He kept spirits high and made us feel like the only couple on the planet and solidified to us just how special our day was still going to be, and he was right! The pictures came out beautifully whether inside or when he encouraged us to still go outside to get some shots with our umbrellas (which we will treasure forever). I wanted the editing to feel like you were “there” and didn’t want anything overly filtered and that is exactly his style and what he delivers. He is so organized and calm on the big day. We LOVED him during our engagement shoot and could not wait to work with him again. As a couple without a wedding planner, we really wanted a photographer that was going to guide us through the day and help to shape our timeline. Stephen (and Alex, our amazing second shooter) were by our side from the minute they got there until they left. Every time I looked up for direction, there he was. I was so concerned about running behind, or being too focused on timeline the day of the wedding. Looking back, I was so carefree and in the moment - I think I asked what time it was once. I also didn't look at the weather once because I knew Stephen would take care of whatever we needed to do! Miraculously the rain held out until we finished photos.. It gave me such peace of mind knowing that Stephen had our backs the entire day. And, OF COURSE, our photos are incredible!! Stephen captured the true love and joy that not only we felt on our wedding, but that everyone around us felt. He captured not only the big moments but these small moments in between that add such a special touch to the wedding. We got married at the Omni Parker House, a very old hotel with it's own charm. Stephen embraced this charm and took advantage of all the amazing spaces and lighting the venue offered. He also made sure every element of the photo was perfect, my dress, veil, train. It was also amazing to have Stephen photograph our engagement shoot and be at our welcome party the night before the wedding! It really made us and our bridal party feel so comfortable for the next day. And if you're still reading this - literally every single member of my bridal party and family has been raving about how amazing Stephen was. So professional, knowledgable, calming, sweet and caring. I googled “LGBTQ friendly photographer near me”, and Stephen came up. I fell in love with his work for many reasons, particularly the way he captures emotion. Looking through the beautiful photos on his website, I felt like the strangers on my screen were old friends. He photographed our proposal and our wedding day, and the photos were just stunning. Looking now at our beautiful gallery, of our actual friends and family, I can’t even tell you how thankful we are. We love that he followed our story from the proposal on, and can’t wait for him to capture more important moments in the future! We had so many wonderful comments about our photos and our amazing photography team. Stephen and Jason made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and his work is amazing. Stephen captured the love, excitement and joy of every moment of our wedding in such a raw and authentic way, we feel like we are back at the venue reliving those moments every time we look at them. We want to emphasize how talented Stephen is! A number of the photos brought tears to our eyes which says so much about his ability to capture emotion! We were especially impressed by how well he captured all of our beloved Jewish traditions and the photos of the Hora are some of our favorites! We also know it must not have been easy shooting into the shining July sun over the water, but our first look photos and all of the photos he took in front of the Boston harbor skyline came out flawless!!! We also appreciated his professionalism and support throughout the entire planning process. Our email thread is almost 100 messages long, which shows his attention to detail and responsiveness. Stephen has great connections with others in the Boston wedding industry too and he helped us find almost all of our other incredible vendors! Additionally, we had a few very stressful and unexpected moments throughout the wedding day, but through it all Stephen was a calming presence and it brought us so much comfort having a familiar and friendly face behind the camera. We were so glad we had the opportunity t get to know him better during our engagement shoot. He is so easygoing and we connected with him right away. You would never know we are both a bit camera shy and awkward in from of the camera because Stephen also had us laughing and made us feel like we could act natural without overthinking anything. We are as grateful for his interpersonal skills as we are his photography skills! Stephen was truly such a pleasure to work with and we are so glad we hired him as our photographer! “Love your photos and your photographer”, this could not be truer with Whiting Photography. First about Stephen – Stephen is the calm, friendly, positive presence you want at your wedding. Everybody loved him. My parents, the bridal party, guests – we received so many comments about how nice and wonderful our photographer was. He listened to what we wanted to have captured for our day and we felt so comfortable with him. He is an all-around great guy. Second the photos – Above and beyond any expectations. Not only does Stephen have a way of making the bride and groom look fantastic and getting the best shots, he also captures the little moments. We had so much fun reliving our day and seeing our day from our guests’ perspective through Stephen photos. There are so many great photos of our family and friends, in addition to the incredibly artistic and amazing shots of us. Stephen is truly the best of the best. Let me just say from our engagement shoot to our wedding day I could not have imagined working with a more professional, laid back, creative, detail oriented photographer. My (now husband) and I were very nervous at our engagement shoot, as we had never had professional pictures done before.. and we had our daughter with us for some of the photos as well which puts a whole different spin on things. When we met Stephen he made us feel so comfortable and we had great conversation throughout the whole shoot it was more like hanging out with a friend than being told to "pose like this and smile". He had our daughter smiling, running around, making silly faces and laughing (all things kids love to do). By the end of the shoot I felt so comfortable and was BEYOND excited to work with Stephen on our wedding day. Fast forward to October 1st, our wedding date. We were not able to get to our venue until 5pm and the wedding ceremony started at 6pm. Stephen called a few days prior and said he had no problem meeting prior to have some formals done with our families, my father and I doing our "first look" as well as my husband and I. He met me at my parents house, came inside and took some photos of us getting ready to do the first look with my dad. (It was the best idea having pictures taken in my childhood home and that all came from Stephen's brilliantly creative mind). My dad and I did our first look outside the front stairs and we all cried! Happy tears of course! Then we made our way down to a beautiful field in Sterling (where we had our engagement shoot months prior) and Ben stood in the field as I walked up to him and Stephen and his second photographer captured all the emotions that come with that moment. Then it was off to the venue! As soon as we got there Stephen grabbed us and took us all around the property to get all the pictures possible prior to the ceremony.. ceremony happened, we're married! Stephen, Ben and I run up the hill to go across the street to get the sunset picture that is well known at Harrington Farm. While everyone was at cocktail hour we had a "private first dance" and Stephen utilized the candles in the room to make for an amazingly romantic imagery. Throughout the whole reception Stephen and his second photographer caught candids of all of our loved ones (which are my personal favorites) as well as any little picture Ben and I thought of after the fact Stephen was right there to get it done for us. He stayed until the very end to catch our "send off" of LED balloons and at the end I just had to give him the biggest hug as he really made the day so amazing with his excitement for getting all of the right pictures we had thought about for so many months leading up to our big day. I will call Stephen for any professional pictures I need going forward, I HIGHLY recommend his talents to anyone looking for any type of photography. It's not easy standing on the flash end of the camera but with Stephen, you never feel an ounce of awkwardness! I could not be more thankful for his beautiful artistry!

There are so many things a guest can compliment about your wedding. And one thing we heard over and over was how amazed guests were with Stephen. And that’s BEFORE we got the pictures back. He was everywhere, but somehow without ever disrupting a moment, like he just seamlessly melted in allowing us to capture some really special photos. But then, our photos!! To die for. Gorgeous, perfectly lit, natural, literally everything I wanted. Stephen was so nice to work with and really brought his A game. We are obsessed and hope to be able to work with him on future major life moments as well. Stephen, thank you for everything.

Where do I begin! From our very first introductory meeting, Stephen's presence was so warm and welcoming, and his genuine excitement to work with his clients made the world's difference. He was so flexible, so communicative, responded patiently to every question in such a timely manner, and really helped us plan and visualize our big day. On the wedding day itself, Stephen was punctual, gave wonderful direction if needed, kept us laughing, and worked so incredibly seamlessly with all other vendors involved. His style of shooting special candid moments is exactly what we wanted, and we are so beyond happy with our wedding gallery! We also got all our photos back so quickly! We really loved working with Stephen from start to finish. He expressed obvious creative excitement for our wedding and venue from the first conversation, was very clear and thoughtful through all contract negotiations in the midst of Covid, and was just generally a joy to work with. We had our engagement shoot a few short months before the wedding and Stephen gave us the space to get comfortable in front of the camera and identify the types of shots we wanted on our wedding day so we felt prepared and excited. Besides his talent and amazing demeanor, the best thing about working with Stephen was how seamlessly he fit into our day. We opted for small, family-only wedding parties, and wanted the morning to feel as relaxed as possible in the midst of two hurricanes and a global pandemic. Stephen and team fit perfectly into this vision. Their presence on the day was not only natural, but comforting. Stephen was truly up for anything - even when I asked that we all spontaneously hop on an empty water taxi for a quick spin around the harbor before the reception. Creatively, we have come away with both beautiful portraits but also an amazing mix of reception photos that capture the personalities of our family and friends, and the true joy we felt that day. It has been a nearly impossible task to narrow down for our wedding albums - a lucky problem to have!

Stephen photographed our wedding on December 4, 2021 and he was the absolute best! From the start, we knew Stephen would be the right choice because he really cares about getting to know the couples he works with. He does an engagement shoot with every wedding package so that he can meet the couple beforehand. We absolutely loved our engagement pictures and Stephen made the whole experience so comfortable. He is really easygoing and calm and a great presence to have around. We just got our wedding gallery back (such a quick turnaround - and Stephen had already sent us around 50 sneak peeks just days after the wedding!) and we are so happy. When we were talking to photographers, we expressed that we did not want to do a first look but that we wanted to get some photos together outside before it got dark. With a December wedding this was a challenge. Multiple photographers said they could not do it but Stephen said he could. The outdoor photos that we got are truly incredible and Stephen got some insane sunset shots as well! And the photos inside are just as amazing. Stephen is really an expert with lighting. More importantly, Stephen captured the joy of the day and everyone looks so natural. For example, the photos Stephen took of the wedding party are so cute - they don't look awkward or staged at all (which, in my opinion, those often do!). We have received so many compliments from family and friends on the photos. In addition to the pictures themselves, Stephen was super professional to work with, always responsive, energetic, and helpful. My mom said, "I love how easy he made it. It never felt like getting the pictures was in the way of the party." Stephen truly loves his job and his joy is infectious. When he was taking our wedding photos, he kept saying "I'm just so happy right now!" It is awesome to be surrounded by that energy on your wedding day! We would recommend Stephen to everyone and would love to work with him again in the future.

When we got engaged and planned a winter wedding we knew we wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the romance of the season through light and color. The galleries on the Whiting Photography website did just that! Stephen has an incredible way of making photos feel personal regardless of whether you know the couple/family or not. When we got to meet Stephen through Zoom my husband and I both agreed that he would not only do a great job capturing the love and happiness we share, but also be an awesome person to hangout with on the most important day of our lives. We weren’t able to do an engagement session with him, but got to meet in person a year before our wedding and scope out picture locations. Our first impressions from Zoom were absolutely correct. Stephen was professional, talented, and friendly. We knew he would get along great with our family and friends. Throughout our engagement Stephen was communicative and helpful with all things photo and even recommended other vendors. He is someone whose opinion we trust and would go to him for his thoughts and ideas, such as “What is it like when the bride walks down the aisle alone?“ On the day of our wedding Stephen arrived and got right to work! He stayed out of the way of hair and makeup, capturing detail shots while we finished final touches. During such a chaotic morning this was majorly appreciated. I truly believe that the wedding party fed off of his calm and supportive mood making the afternoon a breeze. The additional treats that Whiting Photography offers, such as the heirloom albums and The Zebra Booth are really what set him apart from other photographers. Being able to get the photo booth pictures the same night as our wedding was great. It gave us something to look at the next day and our guests loved it! They also commented on how much they loved Stephen, but duh. Not even two days later Stephen sent us a HUGE sneak peek which had us in tears. The love, light & romance we hired Stephen for was absolutely captured and then some. We cannot wait to get together to create our album, and hopefully schedule family shoots in the future.

I would absolutely recommend Whiting Photography to anyone! Stephen was so great to work with and our wedding photos came out amazing. I can’t stop looking at them and every time I do I have a huge smile. Prior to our wedding Stephen was responsive and answered any and all questions we had. When rain was in the forecast days before our wedding, Stephen went above and beyond and visited our venue the day before to scope out alternative photo locations which put me at such ease! The wedding photos truly radiate pure joy and love and capture how much fun my husband and I have together and how we are always laughing. Stephen also got plenty of killer dance floor moments! As people who don’t love having their photos taken, Stephen made us feel so comfortable and we were really able to enjoy our first look together. I knew Stephen was a good photographer when hiring him but GOSH he exceeded all expectations. Four day after the wedding, he sent me about 60 pictures (quickest turnaround of all time, am I right??) and the pictures are SO good. The lighting and quality of each picture blows my mind. I'm having a hard time putting into words just how good the pictures came out. He truly is a fantastic photographer. From the beginning, Stephen was responsive and helpful. He helped me decide whether or not to do a first look (we decided too, and I'm so glad we did). He was so helpful on the day of the wedding. Stephen is fantastic. He photographed our engagement photos, our small wedding ceremony during COVID, our rehearsal dinner, AND our larger wedding this year. Throughout our (extended) wedding planning process, he’s been so easy to work with – responsive, communicative, and supportive of our changes in plans. We’ve been so happy with the quality of his work. The candid pictures are incredible and the colors are so vibrant. We loved that Stephen was both laidback and extremely organized (this eased a lot of the bride’s stress). It is true that you spend a lot of time with your photographer, but that was very easy with Stephen, in fact he feels like a part of our extended family!

I cannot say enough great things about Stephen! We chose Stephen as our wedding day photographer and he did the most amazing job at capturing our special day. Our package included an engagement shoot, which was great because we were able to meet Stephen in person before our wedding and we were able to get comfortable with the process. I'm so happy we get to relive our special day through his amazing pictures. He was also great with our family, bridal party, and all our guests :) After our wedding a handful of our guests asked us for his contact information which is alway a great sign!

Stephen was so great to work with. You can tell just by talking with him over the phone how passionate he is not only about photography in general, but about really capturing your wedding day and delivering all the amazing memories that you were there for, or even that you may have missed! We didn't end up moving forward as we found another photography team that fit our needs a bit better, but if you're looking for a photographer that will literally become a part of your day through and through, there is nobody better than Stephen.

It is hard to describe in words just how amazing our experience with Stephen was from start to finish. Stephen was very responsive, kind, understanding, and super helpful, especially as we were forced to navigate and re-plan our big day due to the confusing and constantly evolving challenges coronavirus threw at us this year. In the end, we had the perfect day, and Stephen was able to capture the emotion of every moment in his pictures. The photos blew us away, and our family and friends are still talking about how amazing he was 8 weeks later, especially his unique and creative ideas to give us more than just traditional wedding photos. Since our wedding, we've had family & friends asking for his contact information so he can also work his magic during their events. Stephen's pictures are amazing, but it was equally notable that he was truly a part of the intimate group present at our wedding. Everyone felt like they got to know him, and he was very attentive to the details of the day, and accommodating to all our guests' requests. We are planning to throw a future wedding reception and will definitely be coordinating with Stephen's schedule to make sure he can help capture that the fun and exciting emotions of that event as well! I was so lucky to find Whiting Photography and could not have asked for a better photographer. Not only is he an unbelievable artist and capturer of memories, he is also an amazing person. As the bride I had very little knowledge of weddings and what happens behind the scenes in planning one and Stephen was always an email or phone call away. Even when something unrelated to the photos came up he was happy to answer any questions I had. He truly felt like a friend only a few short months after meeting him, and many months before the wedding even happened! Something that really stood out for my husband and I was how aware he was of all of the surroundings. At one point during the reception it began to rain slightly outside and he found us on the dance floor to see if we wanted to take a rain photo on the outdoor patio by the fireplace. We were thrilled to and when we got outside Stephen magically produced a clear umbrella for the picture. It is easily one of our favorite shots and is still on our venue's website a year later. Another moment I'll never forget is when the early bus left for the hotel before the end of the wedding. My husband and I ran out last minute to say goodbye to both of our grandmothers and some other of our older relatives. And as we were on the bus giving hugs and kisses we noticed Stephen was right there one the bus to capture those moments!! Amazing, I know. He's right in the mix without you ever even really noticing!! I swear he has a sixth sense about where everyone is and what's happening throughout the wedding! I have received endless compliments on the photos from our wedding. They are absolutely gorgeous! Stephen has a way of capturing the moment that I had never experienced before. I am not one to pose for pictures, choosing instead to let the moment happen, and he was more than capable of catching each moment and freezing it in time for us. I've had many friends who were at the wedding,and some who were not but saw the photos, ask for Stephen's information for their own weddings because they were just so impressed. I am forever grateful to have found Stephen Whiting and to have gotten the opportunity to work with Whiting Photography and cannot wait until my twins are born so he can take our family pictures! I met Stephen at a Wedding Expo, I had planned to use a friend I went to college with who was a Wedding Photographer, but when I saw Stephens pictures set up I fell in love! I knew right then that I really wanted and liked the candid style of a lot of his photographs. I do not like being the center of attention so having less posed pictures and more of everyone enjoying themselves was something that that appealed to me. One of my favorite pictures from the day was a candid he snapped of my dad handing me over to my husband, my inlaws are in the background and everyone is smiling and it just captures our emotions and feelings at that moment- it is priceless. We did engagement pictures with Stephen as well and he met us in the woods where we had gotten engaged. We both felt comfortable from the moment we started working with him as he is very down to earth and personable. He kept us both talking and smiling the whole time and we got some great pictures. When it came to the planning Stephen had us make a list of photos we wanted and he made sure that we got everything imaginable. He also was super helpful in planning our timeline of our day and finding out what was important to us. Stephen is a seasoned wedding veteran and knows the ins and outs and the best way to go about making your day wonderful. I really wanted sunset pictures and sunset fell during our ceremony but Stephen worked to find the best spot for us to take them at following the ceremony and some of my favorite pictures from the day are those. His 2nd shooter was also great and snapped some great pictures of my husband getting ready! Everyone told me how much they loved Stephen and that he wasn’t in everyone's faces to get posed pictures and forcing anyone to do anything. He is very approachable and it made it very easy when guests wanted a picture he was willing to take anything anyone wanted. When picking a photographer it can be very stressful as it is an important decision as these pictures are what you will use to look back on this day. There are also so many photographers out there and the decision can be daunting but I can tell you we made the right decision!! We have over 900 BEAUTIFUL pictures to look back on and a wonderful photo album that we will cherish forever!!

Of all wedding vendors, we anticipated finding a photographer could present some challenges. There are so many options to choose from all with varying levels of experience, quality, price, and personality. For us, of course quality was important but even more so we wanted to make sure we meshed well with our photographer and would enjoy & share in our special day with them. After tons of research, my wife reached out to 20+ photographers, researched some more, heard back from few and connected with zero. Then, we found Stephen! From the moment we reached out to him, he was responsive, beyond professional, and easy to talk to. He took time to “meet” us on Skype, learn about us & our relationship, and listen to and understand the vision of pictures for our wedding day. He worked with our budget and guided us throughout the process from beginning to end. During our engagement photoshoot with him, we knew we made the right decision. Stephen helped us set up our wedding day timeline, checked in with us every few months to see if we needed any help or recommendations for other vendors… he did all the things that you really can’t put a price on. On the day of our wedding, Stephen and his assistant Sharon took charge of our large group, were very patient with us, guided us to the pictures we had asked for, and miraculously was able to capture a good picture of us with 7 screaming nieces & nephews! Stephen & Sharon are both extremely talented. The main thing that drew us to Stephen was not only his ability to capture the moments and pictures we wanted but also his passion in photographing the moments in between the pictures. Thankfully, both Sharon & Stephen seem to have that passion in common because looking over our wedding photos brought us not only right back to the special moments we shared, but reminded us of the feelings & conversations we shared as well. Stephen was one of the best people that happened to my wedding. It has been 4+ months since my big day and my friends and family continuously talk about how stunningly beautiful the photos are. I remember being so happy when Stephen told me he was available to shoot our wedding in September 2019. I had seen his portfolio online and was mesmerized by the light, poses, and romanticism of his portraits. Leading up to the wedding he was great to work with. He was very professional and organized; and he also listened to what we wanted from of our photos. My husband doesn’t like getting his photo taken which made things difficult during our wedding since he was the groom! Stephen had the perfect skills to make him feel comfortable and made him focus his attention on things other than the camera. On our wedding day we had scheduled 1 hour of photos outdoors before the ceremony, but it started raining exactly the moment we were about to start shooting. Stephen, thinking on his feet, came up with a brilliant plan to take photos inside the lobby of the hotel we were getting married at. We trusted his expertise and experience and we all got on board with the new plan. The end result… the most beautiful photos we could’ve ever imagined. Stephen’s skills and vision for our photos came to life in a magical way. Turns out the lobby photos were the best things that happened to us. If you are looking for a photographer that will give you the photos of your lifetime, you must get Stephen. He is just the best.

It took me so long to write this review because it’s hard to put into words how talented Stephen is, what a great person he is and how much we appreciated everything he did for us. Stephen was truly instrumental in making our wedding day so special. We fell in love with his work when we saw his photos from our friends’ engagement shoot. When we met with him in person and we immediately knew we needed to have him to be our wedding photographer. He is such a down to earth and personable person. We had an engagement shoot with him in Boston and we absolutely loved how our photos came out. He really was able to capture who we were as a couple and we were so comfortable with him. On our wedding day Stephen was definitely an MVP. He is so creative and talented. He and his team were so easy and fun to work with. They were super professional and organized. He captured so many special moments during our big day that another photographer would have missed. We also had his Zebra photo booth at our wedding reception, which was a total hit. It was so nice to have a place for people to take pictures that did not take up a lot of space. We also absolutely loved how our album came out. We had a great time designing our album with Stephen. We had so many pictures that we wanted to include in our album. Having Stephen as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. We have so many amazing photos that capture our wedding day perfectly. Stephen was absolutely amazing. He genuinely loves what he does! He went above and beyond, starting with our engagement shoot. He spent extra time with us because we kept exploring and finding great spots to take more pictures. He just loves being creative and experimenting with different lighting/angles etc... and they all turned out great! He is extremely organized and was responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. He did a great job keeping us on schedule on the wedding day and got all of the shots we wanted. I think he was able to get pictures of every single person at the wedding! We ended up with over 1,300 pictures to help us remember our big day. Our album is fantastic and everyone we show it too is blown away by how well it came out. I can’t recommend Stephen enough!

Stephen is so much more than your standard ‘wedding photographer’. A genuine soul with an unbelievable eye, he was so attentive and helpful on our wedding day, and all the days leading up. He really took the time to get to know both my husband and me personally to make us feel comfortable, confident, and safe to be ourselves in front of the camera. When we got our wedding pictures, we were absolutely blown away. Stephen and his team were able to capture, what in retrospect, feels like every single moment, glance, and true emotion felt on our day. He read the room remarkably and always seemed be in the right place at the right time. He understood the importance of the relationships and small intimate family moments and made sure to capture them all equally and beautifully. The best decision we made for our wedding day was to book Stephen for our photography. It's honestly hard to put into words the impact he had that day (and the days leading up to it and after!). Obviously his photography skills are like no other and the pictures he produces are absolutely stunning. But the best part about hiring Stephen was his overall calm and easygoing presence - especially on a chaotic day. He lays out a schedule of events for the day and coordinates with all of the vendors himself so everyone knows what time to be done and where to be. For the formal photos, he was organized and quickly moved through every shot we wanted. For the ceremony and reception, we barely even noticed him and his team - even though they were clearly there and captured some incredible action shots! I could not recommend Stephen enough and you should not think twice about hiring him!

What can I say? Stephen is everything you want in a wedding photographer and more! His work speaks for itself - beautifully done photos that capture the essence of each couple he photographs. What you don’t see in his galleries is his incredible work ethic and ability to connect with people in just a short span of time. We booked Stephen pretty early on in the process (I was totally sold solely based on the galleries on his website) and being my neurotic self, I was incredibly worried about vendors flaking on me. Stephen checked in exactly when he said he would and made sure that we were in touch and he knew everything we wanted out of our wedding photos. On the day of, Stephen could have been one of my bridesmaids he fit in so well with our group! He kept people smiling - even my mom who’s a tough sell when it comes to pictures! At the wedding, he got us through the “formal” pictures in no time so we were able to enjoy a little bit of our cocktail hour. He blended into the party but made sure to grab us for some incredible sunset pictures that we would have missed if it weren’t for his attention to detail! Obviously, can’t say enough good things about Stephen. Well worth every penny spent & I am so thrilled we had him capturing our best day. OH! And he adds a custom photo book into your package and it’s non-negotiable. Don’t try and fight him on it - the album is 100% my favorite thing ever. We initially met with Stephen on a video call and were immediately impressed with how much he cared about getting to know us as individuals and as a couple. When we hung up, we turned to each other and said, “He’s the one!” We met Stephen in person a few months later for our engagement shoot and instantly felt comfortable and relaxed with him - a tough thing for two people who do not like being photographed! We never had to stop and think about whether we were getting every photo that was important to us because we knew that Stephen was on top of it! We also completely trusted his suggestions - one of our favorite photos resulted from us climbing over a wall! When we received our photos we were absolutely floored. We could not have imagined photos this beautiful! It would have been impossible to choose photos for our album on our own since we LOVED every one! Thankfully, Stephen was amazingly helpful and insightful in working with us to create the perfect album. Not a day goes by that we don’t look at our wedding photos and have the opportunity to relive the best day of our lives! Each photo perfectly captures a moment in time with emotion and artistry. A picture might be worth a thousand words, but Stephen’s photos leave you speechless! Out of all of the wedding gifts that we received, our photos will always be the greatest. Look, I see very few reviews from grooms up here, but I had to write one for Stephen. We are that couple that didn't want to be the center of attention, but had a wedding essentially only have picture evidence of how much we love each other. No one could have done a better job than Stephen. He was so easy to work with, had amazing ideas on where/when/how to do pictures, and took the stress out of the day in a way that is incredibly unique and made every aspect of working with him a pleasure. His team was also truly amazing, as he sent several people out to ensure every moment of our day was captured. Just looking at our pictures you get the exact sense of who we are, what our day felt like, and what was happening to both of us (and our guests and dog) throughout the day. Working with him for both our engagement and wedding was so amazing that he now has customers for life (whether he wants us or not). Stephen and his team were thorough, well thought out, able to accommodate special requests, incredibly easy to work with, and unbelievably talented. They were awesome. Every one of our pictures is amazing. And even I, a groom who could have been more involved in the planning (but realistically, couldn't we all?) is so unbelievably happy with Stephen and his team that I am INDEPENDENTLY writing a review (I'm sure my wife will write an equally glowing review with the information you actually want, but really, take it from me, we are so outrageously pleased, you should hire him RIGHT NOW).

We are so happy that we worked with Stephen for our wedding, and I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for their photographer! From the first call Stephen was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He did a great job walking us through what we needed and could expect from him throughout the whole day and really covered all the details needed to capture everything we wanted throughout the day! We loved that he includes an engagement session with his packages, and encouraged us to bring my stepdaughter along too. We were first drawn to Stephen's booth at the Boston wedding expo by the bright colors and fun, playful nature of many of his photos. Fast forward to our engagement shoot and wedding, we could not have asked for a better photographer for our big day. All I can say is, wow! Stephen was fantastic from the very beginning. We chose him because of his talent for catching those little moments that make everything so personal, and also his manner, which is somehow both super professional but also easygoing and fun. A year ago, I didn't think that I would want engagement photos, but they came with our photo package, and I'm glad we did them. We got to spend an afternoon with Stephen, so we got to know each other a little better and also we got used to posing etc (did I mention we aren't professional models? But Stephen made us look like we could be). Needless to say, our engagement photos were stunning - somehow Stephen had turned a gloomy day on the esplanade into perfect lighting and a wide range of pics from romantic to funny. On our wedding day, Stephen and his crew were super professional, helped capture all the memories I wanted to save forever (such as my grandmother seeing me in my dress and her family jewelry for the first time). My husband and I just received the photos and spent last night poring over all of them, and it was really fun re-living all of the moments, big and little.

I cannot say enough good things about Stephen. He was fabulous. The engagement shoot was fantastic, and we had so many good photos that we didn't know how to choose the best. But the wedding photos are even more amazing. We look fantastic, and he captured so many incredible candids of our friends and family that we're basically just giving everyone we know framed photos as gifts for the next several years.
