iory in PGH - 2 very different settings; yet I felt the two albums were cohesive.
Her humor matched our vibe: we are awkward and basically laughed the entire time. I’m obsessed with our photos and look at them almost daily (we got married over two months ago). I had a REALLY hard time picking a photo for our save-the-dates and Thank Yous because we loved them all so much. She captured our day perfectly.
My now-husband hates photos so I knew I needed to be strategic when getting them done & Stephanie was very understanding. I’m also a little Type A and Stephanie really worked with me to get my vision without wasting any time!
She was prompt with both arriving on-time and providing our albums to us (early actually). She was professional but she still connected with us. I think she’s hilarious & creative.
I could not recommend Whitling Photography enough. We will definitely be booking her again for a family session or something. We love you Stephie!

fun getting pictures done as I have with her. When she shot my engagement and wedding photos, I gave her a few shots that I wanted and then let her take the reins and that was the right move. My pictures turned out amazing, and I cannot stress enough how much fun she made it. You can see it in the pictures. She brought the vision I didn’t even know I had to life.

availability. However, we could not be more disappointed and appalled with our experience. A professional photographer should be your biggest advocate, hype person, and partner on your wedding day. Stephanie was none of that. Our choice to make Stephanie and Whitling Photography our wedding photographer is by far the biggest regret of our wedding.
A month before the wedding, I had sent Stephanie location ideas, gps addresses, and, at her request, shared my Pinterest idea board for photos. I also stated that if she had any other thoughts or ideas, to please let me know. It was forecast to rain on our wedding day, which we were not upset about as we realize we can’t control the weather and trusted Stephanie had it handled. Instead of a call/text the day before with reassurance, alternative location ideas, or backup plans, she showed up the day of unprepared, aloof, and, frankly, giving off the air of being bothered, as if she had better places to be. I spent the day of my wedding searching for alternative locations and ideas for photos. A couple should not have to work that hard for any vendor on their wedding day. She made inappropriate and uncomfortable comments to us, both at our engagement session and at our wedding. She gave very little direction or guidance for photos and posing. The album she produced was something that could’ve been created on Shutterfly and a sorry example of a professional product. I could go on and on regarding our disappointment, disgust, and displeasure with our experience.

eady. Brett met the guys and took pics with them. They were great for couples photos and got us to do a lot of fun things that looked great in pictures. We took all direction from them and Stephanie had us try a lot of stuff that turned out awesome. They also were very efficient for family photos. They got great detail shots and sooooo many amazing candids. Their style is more photojournalistic which is exactly what we wanted. They got us a sneak peak the day after our wedding and then delivered all the photos in about 3 weeks. All of the pictures look so good and they caught every important moment. day from different vantage points and different locations. Additionally, their technical skills are obviously on point, but they also capture the emotion and feeling of the day in their photos. We felt like we were reliving the day while looking through our photos and loved them all. Nothing was left out. It was also surprising to me how much they were able to capture without leaving us feeling we were spending the whole day taking pictures. I would recommend them to anyone. And their packages are well worth every penny, especially with all the little extras they include.

When talking to them before the wedding, one thing that I really emphasized was that I wanted us to look like ourselves. I wanted to look natural. They did an incredible job making this happen and capturing who we are as a couple, which I think is SO important in wedding photography. Every picture in our gallery was beautiful, and it was nearly impossible to narrow down when we were ordering.
They are also incredibly professional and efficient! We had our image gallery back less than a month after our wedding, and they've been great at keeping in contact about our album and portraits.
I honestly cannot recommend Whitling Photography highly enough, and would suggest them to anyone looking for a wedding or engagement photographer!

their other weddings and was confident that they would not miss key moments and take beautiful photos throughout the entire day. They did not disappoint! On our wedding day, they were inconspicuous and allowed us to be ourselves -- capturing singalongs in the limo, silly banter about our cat and emotional moments with our parents. By taking this authentic approach, our joy and love for each other naturally shined through in the photos. Best of all, we didn't have to wait long to see the photos afterward. They posted two photos on social media before we even got to our honeymoon location, followed up with a online blog post that we absorbed via shaky wifi in Africa and then sent us our entire gallery less than a month after the wedding. Another perk - they give you all the photos on a USB, which they sent along with a Christmas card and a sample of printed photos. They were professional, efficient and joy to work with. We now have photos that we will treasure for many years to come!
