I chose Whitney to do my makeup for my wedding. She had a great package detail for me and my bridesmaids. The makeup trial was so laid back and she was really receptive to me wanting to make changes afterwards. She was punctual, friendly and fit right in with my group of girls. My makeup stayed fresh and in place for about 12 hours. She was awesome!

Whitney made my wedding weekend a dream come true. She did my makeup for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day and I've never felt so confident and beautiful. I am not sure how any person could write Whitney a bad review. She is RESPONSIVE, PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. She came all the way to our wedding in Sunriver and she was at our house in Caldera in the snow/ice EARLY. (6:45am) She is so incredibly talent and I have had my make up done by multiple people in the past. Every person commented on my make up at the wedding. My mom who never gets her make up done only wants to use Whitney for any upcoming events. She will make you feel like you woke up a princess. If you want the best of the best and can understand if she has lag time between her doctors appointments for being pregnant (aka 24 to 48 hours) then book her. She is worth every penny! XOXO Whitney! I chose whitney to do my make up for my engagement photos, wedding, step daughters senior pictures AND now my maternity photos! I had seen her name and work tagged in photos on IG & FB and have tons of friends who had used her services and they all looked gorgeous! Not only was I impressed by how beautiful she made me feel, she was so sweeet and kind to talk to to each time I sat in her chair. I highly recommend her services!

I did not have a good experience with Whitney unfortunately. I was recommended from a friend as I became the bride to be shortly after my friends wedding. It was incredibly hard getting responses from her, or I'd have to repeat myself multiple times with the same question and still no answer. There was nearly a month of pure silence as I wasn't worth her time or reply, so I wrote her two times more during that period of silence, FINALLY got a response where I once again had to repeat my question that still wasn't answered previously. (I even used saved emails and forwarded them to her) . No courtesy to even reply to me in the end. Super unfortunate, I was very upset we didn't work out in the end.

Not only is Whitney incredibly talented, she is super professional and an overall joy to be around. She showed up at the exact time she said she would the day of my wedding and naturally, my bridesmaids were running late. Even though she was pressed for time she managed to make myself and eleven other women look better than ever, all while blending in as one of the girls. I've had Whitney do my makeup on several occasions. I am never dissapointed. She has a beautiful studio in Beaverton that I always feel comfortable going to. She brings out the inner beauty in every client that sits in her chair. I have a few issues that I'm self conscious about on my face and she always makes me feel better about them coming into her studio and leaving. I met Whitney Stassi through a referral from a sorority sister. She lives in Portland, which is two states away from me. Once I saw her work, I knew I had to have her at my wedding, no matter where she was from!! Upon getting to know her, she went to a very prominent cosmetology school in Los Angeles. She has done make-up for television! Getting ready for a wedding can be stressful, but also it's one of the most special times of your life!! Whitney specifically recognizes this. She was timely, caring, listened to what I wanted, affordable, efficient, has more make up that a department store and made the hours before my wedding flawless. You want her in your hotel room on your wedding day, before you walk down the aisle - she can make a 4 year old flower girl or 90 year old grandmother of the groom feel special and beautiful. Looking back at before and after pictures, it's an understatement to say this woman is amazing. I even added a friend to the wedding party make-up (sorry, Whitney!) and she made it work without sacrificing time or causing stress. I feel so privileged to have had my wedding day makeup done by such a true artist. Whitney did an amazing job, and I'd sincerely recommend her to anyone I know wanting a glamorous look for any special occasion. During my trial run she took her time to get to know me and my style. I didn't have an exact look in mind, but Whitney talked me through the process, and created the most beautiful look that I was unknowingly dreaming of. She made the process fun--and we were able to chat about wedding details as if we were old friends while also keeping it flawlessly professional. After my trial run she checked in with me to see how the makeup wore throughout the day, and what (if any) changes I wanted to make. Though I didn't want to make any changes, I thought it was such a nice and personal touch. She also wrote down names of different products that she used (just in case I wanted to have my own lipstick on hand for touchups!) Whitney Stassi did an amazing job at my sisters wedding. She arrived early and was very professional. She is based in Portland Oregon but my sister heard about her business through friends in CA. She had to book Whitney for her Napa wedding. My sister was stunning!! Whitney listened to exactly what my sister was looking for and did an outstanding job!!! She has an amazing collection of makeup and even gave me tips on how to apply! I wish she lived closer to us and could do our makup everyday!!!

I recently was married of 09/06/14, and hired Whitney Stassi to do mine, and all of my bridesmaids makeup for my big day. (I had 8 bridesmaids-including myself) I had my makeup done by her the year before for my best friends wedding, and remembered how amazing our makeup was then, so of course I was excited to have her do mine! Whitney is not only professional and such a talented makeup artist, she is also incredibly sweet and thoughtful. On the day of my wedding she was so thoughtful, and gave me a sweet gift just to congratulate me! But her talent as a makeup artist is phenomenal. The makeup used is high quality, and she really brings out every girls natural beauty, while also listening to the what each girl wanted. Everyone of my bridesmaids said they felt gorgeous, and we all wished Whitney could put our makeup on every day. The makeup lasted through the entire night, even after a lot of eating and drinking, and quite a few tears. I didn't have to touch up anything, except my lip color at the reception. Whitney exceeded all my expectations and listened to what I wanted for my makeup, but also had advice for me when I wasn't sure about minor details (ie: right shade of lip color) Her pricing for the quality of the makeup and professionalism is very reasonable. I had originally contracted with a gal to do my hair and makeup who was recommended by my wedding venue. Though the gal was very nice, I left my trial bummed out and afraid to look in the mirror... not what you want for your wedding day. That's when I was referred to Whitney and Jackie for hair and makeup... I was in a bit of a panic after having a scary trial and they were so understanding and calming. Whitney is professional and also a great person to be around. You can tell she cares about her business and is passionate about what she does. The night before my wedding I was too anxious to sleep but had complete confidence that Whitney would take care of me... and the bags under my eyes, and she did! The prep time before your wedding is so special and who you have to share it with is important. Whitney was so sweet, respectful, and easy to have around. She just fit right in with my friends and added to the whole experience. Also, another thing to consider... the original person I had contracted did hair and makeup... I did not have a large wedding party but there would've been no way one person could have done everyone's hair and makeup with out starting the night before. The day goes surprisingly fast and having two trusted professionals that will schedule this portion of the day and execute it beautifully is invaluable!! I highly recommend her, she is worth every penny and beyond on your wedding day!

Whitney was amazing. She worked with almost 21 different women in one day doing their make up. She was patient, compassionate, and committed to assuring everyone looked amazing that day. I was the event coordinator that day. She was an expert and professional! Pleasure to work with!

I ended up meeting Whitney accidentally while visiting my venue about a year out from my wedding. I had yet to decide on a hair and makeup artist and she happened to be there doing another bride's makeup. She was incredibly sweet and genuine and introduced herself to me and my MOH. She handed me her card and when I got home I didn't hesitate to call her and set up my trial. From the beginning, Whitney made me feel completely as ease with the whole process. I'm not a big "girlie girl" and I never wear a lot of makeup, so I wanted to make sure that I didn't look incredibly different on my wedding day. Whitney was incredibly understanding and tried to come up with a look that was elegant but still "me". After the trial I felt beautiful, but I also felt like the look was a little too much for what I was going for. Instead of being offended and taking it personally when I voiced my concern, she offered to have me come in for another trial so we could test out another look. She happily set up another appointment during which she was able to create a look that I absolutely LOVED. Her incredible talent and willingness to be flexible absolutely shined through on my wedding day. Originally, only three of my bridesmaids had decided that they wanted to have Whitney do their makeup. However, after seeing the incredible job she had done on myself and the other bridesmaids, the other girls quickly changed their minds and asked to have theirs done as well. Rather than being annoyed and getting flustered, Whitney gladly accepted the challenge (given the now restricted time frame) and proceeded to make all of the women in my bridal party look and feel beautiful. On top of being extremely talented at what she does, Whitney is also one of my favorite women that I have ever met. She is fun, upbeat, cheerful, accommodating, passionate, and a genuinely kind person. She's one of those people that just makes you wish that you had met earlier in life. Before I found whitney, I had a terrible experience with another place on my trail run. So I asked around, and a number of friends from different groups in my life all recommended I check her out. I immediately emailed her, and she got back to me quickly even giving me a recommendation for a person she has worked with for hair. Which was great because I needed hair and make up. I was a little worried at the trail run for what I had experienced with the other gal. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted and what I didn't want. She brought my "want" pictures to life but even better. I looked exactly how I wanted. I still looked like me- but a more inhanced me with a beautiful filter ;) the lashes she uses are incredible. I was worried it wouldn't last all day and still had my doubts. I had my trail run in the morning, and still at 11 pm at night after running around with a toddler; I still looked like I had fresh make up on. Sadly I had to take it off for bed, but was excited to get to have her do it again on my big day. She came to my home, arrived early to set up, was friendly and full of smiles; but also focused. She followed my timeline for the morning, and everything went smoothly. I went last and still had time after to relax before it was time to go. My bridesmaids looked incredible and all loved their make up, and I couldn't stop looking in the mirror. She is a ARTIST. Everyone was flawless. And it lasted until I took it off that night. Through my tears, my laughs, my sweat, more tears.... My make up looked beautiful the whole night. I have already gotten my make up done by Whitney again, she is so awesome not only as an artist but as a person too. I wish I could give her some feedback to work on- because everyone wants to get better; but I have nothing. I recommend whitney to every bride to be, or anyone who wants their make up done. My next future booking will be for a personal make up class so I can learn how to put on my own make up. Make up may not seem like a lot in wedding planning; but as the bride you will be looked at the whole time- all eyes on you. So you want to look your best right? I can't express how happy I was with my look all night long. She brought out all my favorite features of my face, I didn't feel like I had a heavy mask on, and it lasted. Your wedding is a fun and special time, might as well have a blast getting ready and love the end product right? Whitney IS your girl!

Whitney has done my makeup on several occasions and I have always been so pleased with her work. She is a very talented makeup artist and I appreciate that she is not only thoughtful and meticulous about what she does, but she is also kind, considerate and happy to be able to take part in the important moments of people's lives. Her passion for others is evident and she is truly excited by highlighting the beauty she sees in each of her clients - this makes working with Whitney so wonderful!

Whitney was the one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have had the privilege of working with. She is knowledgable, experienced and calm under pressure.
