This one-of-a-kind wedding destination was first established as a bank in 1923, carefully designed by architects John and David Parkinson. Spellbound by the beauty of its Neoclassical look, investors seized the opportunity and transformed this Beaux-Arts building into a bar, restaurant, and brewery. Our event planner was Laurie, who is not great at answering emails. She was nice and professional for the most part, she...
was late to a few meetings, but for legitimate reasons. She planned a meeting with my food vendor that she insisted I be there for, and as I pulled up at the scheduled time, she and the food vendor had already had the meeting because they got there early.
The day of was fine enough. The part I am upset about is, my MOHs packed away 10 cheesecakes, as it was a large wedding.
I had a friend hand Laurie my cake topper when I was getting ready. When it came time for cake, 5 “were missing” and she couldn’t find them. My MOHs had to go to the back fridge and show her where they were. My cake topper went missing and since she couldn’t find it day of, I waited a few days to email have yet to hear back about. The cake topper had our wedding date so if it was found there would be no question as to whose it is.
