COVID, she was extremely supportive, communicative, and patient. I had a pretty clear idea about what hairstyle I was looking for, but Jen put her own spin on it and executed a style that was above and beyond what I ever imagined! I have curly hair that can of course have a mind of its own, and it was important to me to feel like myself on my wedding day. Thanks to Jen, my hair ended up looking like the best possible version of itself, and I felt so beautiful and comfortable all day! I was a bundle of nerves when Jen showed up that morning, but she immediately put me at ease. Before she even started on my hair, she reached for the lavender oil I had brought and did a mini aromatherapy session and shoulder massage (which she specializes in at her studio!) to calm me down. She also worked on my mom, mother-in-law, maid of honor, and bridesmaid, and everyone was thrilled with their hair. She was so professional and efficient and even ran ahead of schedule! Jen is an expert at what she does and she’s kind, warm, and thoughtful. I’m so thankful to know her, and I’m endlessly grateful that she was there on my wedding day!

Let me start of by saying that although I wouldn't consider myself a bride-zilla in the traditional sense, I was definitely a bride-zilla when it came to punctuality and planning and I was constantly in a state of panic. Shannon, Jennifer, and Jaclyn are nothing short of a dream-team. My wedding was in October however I had started a relationship with the girls about 6 months prior to that when I started going to the studio to get my hair colored and styled by Shannon. She became not only my stylist but a great confidante and friend listening to my problems whether it be work, family, wedding, etc. I quickly became close with both Jaclyn and Jennifer as they stepped in at the last minute to do my hair and make-up for my bridal shower. Not only did the finished product look stunning but my mood was significantly lighter after having talked to them all morning about my nerves going into the Shower day. The day of the wedding the girls could not have been more accommodating to my family. There were multiple changes to the plan (I even had forgotten to put my own mom down for hair if you can believe that) and they were there until the very last minute touching up my make-up and hair and teaching my little sister how to remove my veil. Although they were there working it actually truly felt like they were part of my close friends and family. My mom had lost her mom several years ago and we had reflected so many times on how much we had wished that she were there for my wedding. While Jaclyn was doing my mom's make-up they were able to connect about Nana and the story that Jaclyn told my mom still resonates with her to this day and in fact yesterday on Mother's Day not only was my mom raving about how beautiful everyone's hair and make-up looked but she was telling the story of the beautiful moment she and Jaclyn were able to share that morning. For all the brides that are struggling with the stress and anxiety of having to reschedule their special day I could not recommend Jennifer and her team more. They are punctual, organized, professional, and all of their work is absolutely beautiful and thoughtful. Aside from their attributes as a business they are not only master's of their art but they are great friends and a calming, positive and supportive energy that all brides should be so lucky to experience. Even though I live in Boston now and will likely have to relocate for my husband's job in the future, I will continue to come to Whole You Beauty regardless as it would be hard to find another place as special to my heart as them. Leading up to the wedding, I stopped in the studio for a facial in order to get to know the staff better and gain some more comfort in the team that would play such a big role in my day. That led me to Jaclyn, whom I also fell in love with instantly. Her spirit and kindness sealed the deal for me even more (not to mention the facial was fantastic!). For my hair and makeup trial I had my very picky mother with me to have her own trial, and I swear my mother talked about the girls at Whole You Beauty almost every day - she was thrilled with their work and them as a whole (she even came all the back from NH for a pre-wedding lash lift!). On the wedding day I felt totally calm and relaxed. Jen provided me with a detailed hair and makeup schedule that fit perfectly with what I wanted and what fit best with my overall schedule for the day. They made each of my girls feel and look beautiful - our hair and makeup even survived through an unexpected hail storm while in the park taking pictures. Every time I look at one of my wedding photos I can't help but think of how grateful I am to have stumbled across Jen and Jaclyn on theknot. They really made my wedding dreams come true! I already have hair appointments set up in the future and will be a client for life!

he Wedding Day” goes from an abstract concept, to an all consuming mission. It’s a day that symbolizes and celebrates the union between you and your partner. That being said- one of the biggest and most exciting aspects of your big day is undoubtedly: how will I look???!?! What will the dress be-will it even be a dress?! Veil/headpiece, shoes, jewelry, make-up and.... HAIR???!!! The stylist I put in charge of hair, was the easiest question I had to answer. I started seeing Jen when I was 20yrs old, and 14yrs later, we were planning a wedding look. I knew I wanted to have a whimsical updo with volume, modest height, twists, turns... All the things. The only issue; I have stringy thin hair that has never grown (well) passed the middle of my neck. This was NEVER a concern for Jen. She planned out the perfect tone of blonde, that maximized dimension and planned to use extensions to achieve the "oomph" factor. Extensions that she hand dyed, to match perfectly. We planned out the most perfect look during my hair trials. All while laughing and reminiscing over the years I had been going to see her; knowing this day would eventually come. On the big day, she was one of the most calming factors for me in a hotel suite filled with family, bridesmaids, 90’s hip hop and anticipation. She came prepared with a schedule of what bridesmaid was assigned to which stylist (and at what time slot) and got down to it!... Did I mention I had 11 bridesmaids? The “why” is a whole other conversation- but Jen and her colleague managed to make every single bridesmaid feel like they were a model, looking absolutely fierce! My hair... Well, it was perfection. The height, the twists the turns, the volume... ALL THE THINGS. I got compliments on my hair all night (which continues to this day whenever anyone sees pictures of the day). Jen managed to create a look that I will never forget. I can’t imagine that day without her. And although I could never reciprocate the gift she gave me, I can write this little blurb giving Jen one hell of a shout out. As well as let YOU know, the Bride to Be... there is no need to look any further. You have found the stylist that will work with you, and help create the look you want to achieve for your big day. I was so impressed on her ability to take what i was trying to explain and turn it into the look i wanted. The day of my wedding she showed up with another wonder helper (on time!) and did the most amazing job on me and my wedding party. I had so many compliments on the work she did. She has the most amazing personality and i look forward to seeing her every time. She started doing my hair on a regular basis after my wedding and has continued to do amazing work. Shannon (on hair) created a beautiful up-do for me, and a stunning blow out for my mom. Jaclyn killed the make up for us both- finished with lashes and a light, not cakey, airbrushed look. Not to mention, we were finished by 10 am and the look kept *on a pretty humid day* all. day. long. (very impressive in my opinion). I’m especially grateful that they made my mom feel beautiful on the day of her first sons wedding. ennifer from whole you immediately got back to me with pricing and asked if I would like to set up a trial. Some of the other vendors I spoke with were incredibly expensive and/or didn’t get back to me for several days. I set up a trial with Jaclyn and we clicked right away. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the airbrush makeup that she did during the trial, and she assured me that was why we did the trial so we could try different things and get it just right on the big day. Between then and my wedding day, Jaclyn did two facials on me- one was a gentle chemical peel and the other a calming facial one week before my wedding. She was “prepping” my face- (her palate). She gave me amazing deals on the services since I was one of her brides. By the time my wedding rolled around, my skin felt amazing, hydrated, and free of blemishes. She and Jennifer were punctual, fun and professional on the day of my wedding. My whole bridal party’s makeup was beautiful and natural looking..... and it didn’t take the whole day to do. Jaclyn has become A good friend and an aesthetician that i will continue to see! My experience with whole you was fabulous from start to finish- responsive, affordable, friendly and personalized.

We tried two different hair styles and I fell in love. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, she helped me figure out exactly what I liked. Two of her most amazing qualities are her ability to answer the questions you didn't realize you had, and to truly listen to your thoughts and vision. In planning for the big day, some of my wedding party and family opted for hair and/or makeup. Her responsiveness to scheduling and figuring out the best way for multiple people to pay made the planning process easy. On the big day, she and her makeup artist made it all happen. Everything they did worked around what I wanted or needed. We stayed on schedule and they kindly fixed some last minute hair and makeup emergencies that family members had (people who didn't reserve their services), one of which was my mother who doesn't trust anyone other than herself with her hair - impressive! Jennifer is a true professional who is incredibly talented. If I were to ever remarry (which I hope I do not), I would not hesitate to rehire Jennifer! Thank you for all you did to make my wedding day so special!

has a mind of its own and doesn't behave very well for other stylists but Jen always manages to make it look its best! She also has the best personality and can totally calm you down whether she's doing your hair for a big event or for your big day!

She will discuss what you want/need in comprehensive detail. She is always honest. She will be supportive. She is professional. Above all, she is caring and kind. I have used other hairstylists throughout the years, for various reasons, but it was never as good of an experience. I am always 100% happy when I leave Jen's chair. Friends and customers always rave about my hair and some are shocked to find out I am not a natural red head. Many have asked for her contact info and have been very satisfied after their appointment. I am so looking forward to the vision Jen and I have come up with for my day. You WILL have such an amazing experience with her. I can not say enough good things about her. You won't be disappointed!
