Leading up to and the day of event she coordinated with all of our vendors and took on many extra tasks so that my bridal party and family did not need to help with them (which meant they had more time to enjoy themselves). She made sure that everything ran smoothly and on time, worked so well with all of our other vendors, made sure all the details were set up perfectly, and even packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Beyond her genuine listening and care, Sam is so calm and genuine. She brings both a warmth and a great depth of knowledge that helped our wedding day run smoothly. All of our family and bridal party were in awe of how amazing she was! As a very organized and detail-orientated person myself, I was hesitant to hire a day-of-coordinator. Since I plan events professionally at work, I didn't know if the coordinator would truly be necessary. I am SO beyond glad we did hire Sam. So many little things popped up throughout the day that Sam seamlessly took care of. It was such a blessing to know she was handling it all and it truly allowed my husband and I enjoy our wedding day blissfully. I truly cannot imagine our wedding day without her! Sam went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect, and we would highly recommend working with her!

She went above and beyond and had every piece of our decor set up exactly how we envisioned them- and we asked her to use her creative directive to help improve anything during the set up (such as our head table décor, which turned out better than I could have imagined!) I was very impressed by how neatly and carefully she packed everything up for us at the end of the night, making the clean-up stress free. Sam is a fantastic and detail-oriented wedding coordinator, but she was also a joy to work with as a person! I highly recommend Sam if you are looking for a day-of coordinator!

worked with us through the months leading up to the wedding, checking in occasionally, but really kicking it into high gear the month of. She verified all of the details with our vendors, identifying a couple of line items that needed to be changed with our florist (like, that the flowers needed to be delivered to the ceremony as well as the reception!), coordinating with our venue to get all of the liability agreements from vendors, determining the timeline of the day, and working with us to nail down logistics for decoration delivery and setup. She was great working with all of the vendor coordinators and established herself as the key point of contact. Once the ceremony started, the rest of the day was a cakewalk. Samantha made sure we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be, and also coordinated the setup of the reception venue – a task which she had only an hour and a half to setup 25 guest tables, a head table, sweetheart table, and other decorations. During the reception, we realized that there was no good bouquet to toss – Samantha quickly reworked a generic bouquet of flowers we had from the store into a smaller bouquet that was suitable to toss. She also worked with the driver of our limo to locate a cufflink that the groom had lost – the cufflink was found and safely returned in the mail. If you are getting married and are able to book Wholehearted Events, do it. Samantha was excellent in gently steering us away from risky decisions during planning and was absolutely key in pulling off our vision, removing all of the stress from us on the day of our wedding, enabling us to focus on the important thing – each other.

nd I am so glad I did. My only regret is not hiring her sooner! Sam helped us figure out so many last minute details, ran our rehearsal and handled all the coordination the day of. She literally drove to buy more liquor when the bar service decided to end their evening an hour ahead of schedule. She was always ready to step in and help where direction was needed, and she took a lot of initiative rather than waiting to be asked to help with something. If you are asking yourself if you really need a coordinator (like I asked myself time and time again), the answer is YES, YOU ABSOLUTELY DO!! Our day was perfect and seamless, and my husband and I know Sam is the one to thank for that. We were both able to truly relax and enjoy the day. I don't feel like anything went wrong, even though some things did, because she was on it every time. All the nerves I thought I'd feel went unnoticed. Sam handled planning before and during the wedding, took care of all of our vendors, kept us on time, made sure we ate and drank, and SO much more. Her and her husband John felt like lifelong best friends there to support us on our big day. She goes above and beyond and clearly loves what she does. I cannot recommend her enough.
