os, rehearsal dinner and finally my wedding. I don't do a lot of makeup usually and wanted to look like myself but elevated and glam. When my fiancée picked me up from trial, he teared up. she's that good. When you're in the craze of your wedding day, Kymm's calming energy is exactly what you need. She and her friend Jessica made my bridal party, family and myself look amazing. Kymm was a pivotal part of our wedding day and I would recommend her for any occasion but especially brides. Her prices are also incredibly reasonable and worth it.

ts. At a recommendation from my planner, I contacted Kym with Whose The Fairest and booked a trial. Kym was unavailable herself for my day, but her associate, Jessica, was! Jessica did my trial and walked me through each step of the process. We tried on a couple of different lip sticks and eye lashes and I was able to choose which I liked the best to compliment my dress and style. On the day of the wedding, Jessica applied makeup for three bridesmaids, my aunt, my mother, and myself. She worked quickly and everyone looked absolutely stunning! All the ladies in my party (family included), felt so confident that their makeup was beautiful and that it would stay put all day. AND IT DID! The day wasn’t hot, but warm and humid. My mother and I both sweat on our faces and we both sweated quite a lot, and our makeup did not budge! I felt beautiful and confident, my family and bridesmaids felt beautiful and confident, and I could not be happier!

Between the trial and the wedding date, I changed my mind a bit re: what I wanted to do with my hair - even with a last-minute change, she was able to pull off a sleek and elegant updo the morning of the wedding. Amazing job and great presence to have on the morning of the wedding!

y mom’s face after her makeup was done was priceless and I loved my makeup and got so many compliments and requests for her info. She is also reasonably priced especially compared to many ridiculous prices I got for my wedding. Kymm is also a sweet person and we all really enjoyed chatting with her and hearing her story. Finally, she said the makeup was waterproof and boy was that the truth!! I must’ve cried for 1-2 hours during my wedding and my eye makeup did not budge. People were surprised after seeing me crying at the altar that when I turned I didn’t have raccoon eyes and it was perfectly in place! Love love her and totally recommend!

After a 1-hour consult with Kymm and lots of creative planning on Kymm's part (including making the flower hair clips herself), my daughter walked down the aisle with the EXACT hairstyle she requested. It was stunning! Kymm and Rhonda arrived at our house at 10:30 the morning of the wedding and styled hair for 11 bridesmaids, the bride and the mother of the bride. Everyone chose different styles, and they all looked beautiful! All hairstyles held up the entire evening, and the wedding reception lasted until 11 pm. We requested makeup and hair styling for the bride. Kymm created an elegant, polished look that highlighted my daughter's features beautifully. Working with Kymm and Rhonda was a pleasure, and I highly recommend Who's The Fairest? for all styling needs.

My hair was also perfect beyond logic and still looked great when I woke up the next morning. Basically, if you want your hair and makeup to defy the laws of nature, Kymm's your person.

and I was open to Kymm’s relaxed and casual approach with no deposits or contracts like the rest of the wedding world. Being an out of state bride and due scheduling conflicts, we could not do a trial until the week of the wedding. Two months before the wedding, we scheduled the trial for Wednesday before my Saturday wedding. Being that I live 3 states away, there was no flexibility on this because of other pre-wedding events on my schedule. Ten days before my wedding, I get an email saying she either needed to move my trial date or cancel and have someone else on her team do it. I was told it was because she got offered a larger paying corporate job for Tues and Weds, and could not turn down the money due to her personal need at the time. I will mention I have never had communication with anyone but her so 10 days before my wedding, the thought of placing my 16 months and 10’s of thousands of dollars in a strangers hands was nerve-wracking. Thankfully, my replacement Rhonda McGregor was an angel sent from beauty heaven and she was able to keep the trial time, did a wonderful job, and also did my wedding day hair/makeup. As Rhonda was setting up in my hotel room on my wedding day, she was on the phone directing her assistant to parking for the hotel. I casually ask what’s going on and she said Kymm had a demanding bride scheduled close to my time, and that now Kymm was not even coming because the other bride wanted to sleep in and shifted Kymm’s whole schedule. EIGHT HOURS BEFORE MY WEDDING AND I FIND OUT I WILL NEVER MEET KYMM LIKE I THOUGHT I WOULD WHEN I BOOKED HER OVER TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR. I will reiterate this appears to be an isolated incident but I was very unhappy with Kymm’s services.

h hair and make up. Hair and make-up cost $150 plus a $75 travel fee. I thought it was a bit expensive. I did not especially like how my hair turned out in the trial run, so I had them do something different on the day of the wedding. It took a couple tries to get what I had in mind, but in the end, it turned out very pretty. I appreciated that the stylists did not get frustrated with me when I kept asking them to fix stuff and do it differently. The make up looked good and was not overdone. I think I actually liked the make up job from the trial run better than the actual day of!

the makeup will last throughout the night. She is my go-to makeup artist now- I used her for my engagement pictures and will absolutely use her for future special occasions. What's even better is how amazing Kymm is as a person. She has a heart of gold and always wants to help you feel like the best version of yourself. We are lucky to have her as a makeup artist in Charlotte!!!

All I have to say is when I got home my husband was amazed by how I looked & complimented me in the very best way! I knew my wedding day would be perfect. She takes her job very seriously & is incredibly professional - taking pictures & detailed notes about how my makeup looked & what she used. I booked Kymm to come in the morning and do hair/makeup for myself and my mom and mother in law, and to come back in the afternoon for myself for my second ceremony, and then again in the evening before the reception. She was exactly on-time or a couple minutes early each time which was so appreciated on such a hectic day. She and her assistant finished all 3 of us up ahead of schedule and everyone looked amazing and I loved my hair/makeup. I definitely recommend Kymm if you want someone who does an awesome job, will come to you, and that you know you can trust.
