Laura was super great to work with and quick with her responses to all of my emails and questions. We had a Friday wedding and they had all the tables and chairs set up for us pri...
or to arriving for decorating.
Cons would have to be that the men there towards the end of the night acted unprofessional towards some of us and treated us like we were an inconvenience. However, I didn't let that ruin our day and everything turned out so perfect.
We were blown away by the Wichita Boathouse - everything was perfect! We had plenty of time to set up, tear down and have a great wedding in between. I loved that we could have th...
e ceremony outside and just move indoors for the reception. We were thrilled with the price and Laura was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The space was the perfect size for us; everything turned out beautifully - even better than I had expected!
Love the Boathouse! It's a beautiful setting inside and out for a wedding and/or reception. Laura was so helpful, she was even there the day of the wedding trying to get the video ...
to work because we had been having problems with their system. Just a great location and great people to work with!
Guests kept commenting on the view from the back veranda. Beautiful setting and great to work with!

ch was XClusive Caterers. We loved their services they provided, but it was a little pricy! $175 for just 100 beers and $5-$7 for just one glass of wine! EEK!
However, I loved how my reception venue turned out and I would recommend the Boathouse to any bride wanting to have an intimate wedding!
Laura and all of the other staff I spoke to were very helpful and accommodating. They were able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions for layouts and decorating. The ...
venue itself is beautiful. The wood floors and staircase, natural lighting from all of the windows, and beams on the ceiling were just a few of the things I loved about the venue. I also liked how there was a large deck and the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame on the ground level because they allowed my guests who didn't want to dance to have a quieter place to chat and some cool sports memorabilia to look at. The one thing that I wish I would've looked into before selecting the venue was the prices of the drinks for Xclusive Bartending, the Boathouse's contracted bartending service. A little pricier than I was anticipating.
The Boathouse is a great place for a wedding ceremony and reception. The setting is very beautiful and romantic. The price is a little bit expensive since they do not offer linens ...
or included time for a rehearsal dinner for those who have their ceremony there but I am very happy with how our wedding turned out.
The newly renovated Boathouse is absolutely pristeen and beautiful. We had a great time and had everything we need right there. They allowed us to use the entire space so we had ...
a great opportunity for lots of beautiful pictures and a nice place for a pretty outdoor summer wedding and the refreshing a/c inside for the reception. I loved everything about it. And it was nice too having the Hyatt just across the street so we didn't need a get away car, we simply walked over to our room when the night was over.
