We had our reception at the Nebraska Champions Club and could not be happier. Deb was amazing to work with and had all the tables and chairs set up for us on Friday to decorate for our Saturday reception. She was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and answered all of our questions in a timely manor.

We had an awesome time here! It was a beautiful venue and everyone was extremely easy to work with. During the busy season they only book events on one night of the weekend so no one will be there the day before you, for our Saturday wedding we could come in Thursday and Friday to set up, free of charge!

5 stars is not enough for the Nebraska Champions Club!! Deb and team made my wedding dreams come true! This is absolutely the best wedding reception venue. Deb's calmness and professionalism was just what I needed and wanted when planning a wedding for 250 people. She is so great about emailing and communicating about every single detail that goes into a reception. The Champion's Club only does one wedding a weekend which makes for super stress-free set-up and clean-up. From the time we started planning to the days leading up to wedding day, she helped us take our ideas and turn them into the best day ever for us. Our reception was SO MUCH FUN! Not only did things happen on the time schedule we wanted them to, but the A/V, lighting, table layout, and dance floor make for the perfect night. Thank you again, Deb - your expertise and attention to detail was much appreciated!

We had our reception at the Champions Club this past month and it was everything we could've imagined and more! Deb at Champions Club was beyond helpful- she answered all of my questions and e-mails quickly (and patiently) and offered many suggestions. She was also in contact with all vendors prior to our wedding day to coordinate set up etc. The day of the reception Deb ensured that everything was set up (even things we forgot to put out) and was active during the reception making sure things like popcorn bowls were full and getting the cake cut, served, and then stored. Everything was super simple from the beginning- with set up, day of, take down, etc. Not to mention parking was easy for guests and you get a great view of the stadium. We had a lot of compliments from our guests and I would highly recommend Champions Club to anyone!

We had our reception at the Wick Alumni Center this summer and everything went perfectly! The staff there was really easy to work with and super flexible! I loved that the Wick had the second floor balcony and the outdoor garden area. This gave guests different areas to go if they didn't want to be in the middle of the entertainment and just wanted a quiet conversation place. Overall this was a wonderful place for a wedding reception, it does not disappoint!

We had our wedding at the Champions Club, and it was just amazing. The staff that helps with your day is just amazing, Deb and Paul are great! I would recommend the Champions Club to anyone!

Carrie and the staff here at the Wick Alumni Center were awesome! The Center itself is set up extremely well for a reception. We were able to have completely separate rooms for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We also used the Dana Board room as the spot for our food, so people weren't tripping over the buffet line while walking around the room. Our wedding was near Christmas and the Wick had gorgeous decorations we were able to use (poinsettias, wreaths, trees, etc). Carrie worked with me to figure out a layout and kept touching base as we got closer to the date. Thank you again, Wick Center!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Nebraska Champions Club. It was fabulous! Carrie and Deb were helpful from the very start. I met with Deb several times and we emailed each other very often. She was extremly helpful in setting up and helping me plan and also the day of the wedding. She honestly cares about each event and wants it to be everything you have imagined. I will always recommend this venue to any and everyone! They all were wonderful!!!

My sister in law had her reception here and it was stunning! Huge windows, excellent service. It's up a floor too so you have a cool vantage point. Loved the balcony if you needed fresh air or a break from the dance floor.

Having the Champions Club as our reception hall was absolutely fantastic! The manager was ever so helpful, and we were able to do clean-up and gift opening the next morning, which led to a stress-free wedding night. Absolutely awesome.

The Champions Club is a beautiful location and Deb is a rock star. I highly recommend this location and it's staff. It is a little pricey but it was worth it.

The staff at the Champions Club were so helpful and were always there to go above and beyond. They even stayed to fold napkins for each of our guests- I felt like I didn't have to do anything!

Best place in Lincoln to have your wedding reception. Everything looked exactly how I had asked and the people working are so nice!

Our experience using the Champions Club for our special day was by far the best decision we made! Not only was the venue beautiful and able to accomodate the 350 people we had in attendance, but the staff went above and beyond expectations. Everything went smoothly because of the staff's dedication to keep the flow of the night going. They coordinated with all of the vendors about set up times so that we did not have to worry about a thing beforehand or the day of! We simply showed up and everything was taken care of. They simply made our day perfect!!!

The Champions Club started out amazing. We loved the coordinator there and they had so many extras included in the price, like cake cutting, and gift takers. However, mid-way through they changed coordinators and no one told us until we showed up to a meeting. At this time everything still seemed fine until I looked at their web site and everything had changed (they were going to start charging for all of that stuff). We immediately e-mailed new coordinator for the update event order at this time she said we would be charged the extra fees, when we e-mailed back we got no response. After a few weeks and another e-mail we again searched the web site and had a different person listed again to contact. We contacted this person and after some struggle we finally got locked into the original agreement. Things ended okay, but it still wasn't great to have to deal with all of this. The exclusive caterer to this place was fantastic to work with and responded to our e-mailed immediately. I'm still undecided if I would go there again if we did this all over.
