Wickham Park is a parklands wedding venue situated in Manchester, CT. Bordering both Manchester and East Hartford, this 280-acre woodlands park is home to two stunning event spaces. Here, amidst manicured gardens, sprawling woodlands, and peaceful ponds, your guests will celebrate your love story in a picturesque setting. Clarence Wickham’s wish was for the public to enjoy this beautiful park, originally a gift to his wife, Edith. What better way to celebrate your day than in a place that was founded on the enduring power of true love. There are two main wedding venues at Wickham Park, the Cabin at Hilltop Garden and the Emerald Room. The Cabin Garden boasts incredible views of the Hartford skyline, where the two of you will exchange your forever vows on the terrace beneath a wrought iron arbor. Afterwards, guests can mingle during cocktail hour, take a stroll through the grounds, play lawn games, or perch on quaint rocking chairs. This is the perfect setting for wedding photographs all the while soaking in the beauty of nature. Evening receptions for up to 150 people take place in a marquee tent adjoined to a wooden cabin. White seating, round tables, and elegant linens set the tone for a night of dinner and dancing. The dance floor is located inside the cabin, a rustic and refined space characterized by polished wooden floors, exposed wooden beams, and a grand stone fireplace. The Emerald Room is located in the Irish Garden which features a water fountain, a walled garden filled with cherubic statues, florals, and greenery. Following your ceremony in the gazebo, you and up to 98 of your wedding guests can make their way to the Emerald Room for an evening to remember.
