She was also able to get the men in the family to have great smiles which is harder than the kids at times. Right then I booked her for my upcoming elopement in Florida. We didn’t have any guests but we have a 4 year old son, and I needed someone who we would enjoy spending our day with and knew how to work with a toddler. I gave her some guidance on pictures but I didn’t send her a long list of shots and poses or a Pinterest board. I wanted her to document our day and I didn’t want to have to worry about anything. Jessie made sure to take care of all of the behind the scenes things so I could enjoy getting ready and not stress about anything. I remember talking to my husband at the end of our wedding night and saying how perfect it was and that we wouldn’t change a thing. When we got our wedding album, I was overwhelmed with more emotions than my wedding day . It felt as though we hired a photojournalist to capture every moment. My album wasn’t hundreds of pictures of forced poses that everyone else posts on social media. My wedding album told the story of our wedding day. When I look at the pictures she took, I have never seen a picture of me looking happier than I did on my wedding day. She caught the raw emotions on our faces as we exchanged vows, and the laughter as we ate our first meal together. If you scroll through her work, you can see the same joy in others’ faces. When I show people my wedding album, I get the same reaction. “These pictures are incredible!” Don’t be afraid to ask for a quote even if you are marrying local! I “eloped” in my hometown but decided to fly her in. We used a popular location that many local photographers frequent. Jessie brought an outside perspective and found little spots around the property or used a different lens and was able to get unique pictures that look nothing like the local photographers. Her packages are competitive in pricing and that includes travel so it’s worth asking for a quote to have her as your wedding photographer instead of feeling like you got the same wedding album as everyone else that you know. Jessie just has an eye for creativity and she is constantly investing in herself as a photographer and in her business (I’m sure it’s the teacher in her!) We already have her booked again to take pictures when she is in FL this winter. She is one of those people that leaves the world a better place and I’ll keep supporting her business wherever she goes!

She is so incredibly creative and caring, and truly loves what she does. It comes through in every photo. She’s like a friend you’ve known for years. She’s your biggest supporter and number one “hype-man” through it all.. (engagement, bridal boudoir, wedding). She will really go above and beyond to try to give you exactly what you want and make sure you are at ease during the whole process. She basically has the whole thing down to a science in terms of her knowledge and attention and to wedding detail. My husband hates taking photos with a fire burning passion, but he loves taking photos in front of Jessie. “Jessie is really pretty, but her personality just takes it to another level. She’s so cool.”-my husband (and I agree 100%) I would hire her a thousand times over.
