Wild Blackberry Farms is a family-owned wedding venue in Fortville, IN, on over 40 wooded acres and offering panoramic views of rolling hills. From blackberry season to wedding season, the friendly and passionate team welcomes you, your partner, and your loved ones to experience paradise on your special day.
The discovery of Wild Blackberry Farms culminated a decades-long search for an idyllic Madison County property. With sugar maple groves, horseshoe bend creeks, and numerous ravines, the Rhodes family knew that this was the place. Over the years, they built a winding country lane, then a barn and a fence, followed by a handsome red roan, hay field, and finally, a family home for eight. They have designed the spacious, Amish-built gambrel barn to be fully customizable, so you can dress up the scene in the colors, styles, and themes that mean everything to you. It is also a heated venue featuring climate control settings and handicap-accessible bathrooms. You and your closest friends and family can spend a slow summer day celebrating your marriage before a wonderful reception evening that turns into a spectacular party under the starry Indianapolis night sky.
Wild Blackberry Farms has an open-door policy for vendors, allowing you to plan the wedding you have always dreamed of. Additionally, several on-site amenities are available, including banquet-style dining tables, cocktail tables, a large custom bar, wooden cross-back chairs, and a fabulous outdoor firepit. Finally, the 1953 Chevy farm truck, the 1955 Thunderbird convertible, and the friendly farm animals can be props to create truly unique wedding day photographs.

Greg and Jennifer looked for over a decade for a farm property to raise their family of four before they found this wonderful place in Madison County. Wild Blackberry Farms was initially just farmland, but it was slowly developed to include fencing and horses, trellised blackberry canes, a barn and a home. They love sharing the farm with others - during blackberry season and year-round with weddings. While not originally intended to serve as a wedding venue, with several requests to use the space, the barn evolved into what it is today - a genuine working farm but with wedding amenities!

On our wedding day, it genuinely felt as though we were celebrating at a vineyard in the Italian countryside, perfectly complementing our “Italian fresco meets Indiana farm” theme. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding day. We received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous and unique everything was. The flexibility, communication, and genuine effort from Jennifer and Greg are unmatched. We honestly fell in love with the place before Greg even opened the barn! Being able to bring in almost any vendor of your choice is practically unheard of, and it made the planning process so much easier and more personal.
On top of that, we love that we can return for the WBB festival each year with our families in the future and reminisce about our special day. We 10/10 recommend choosing WBB as your venue!

d so pretty! Everyone commented on how cool the venue was - very entertaining for all, they have all sorts of farm animals that were so cool to just watch graze in the field. We fell in love with the church pews they had for outdoor ceremony too! WBF has 2 separate areas for guys and girls to get ready in. Both very comfortable! Ladies area has a nice couch & gorgeous lighting on the mirrors for hair & make-up, a cute kitchenette for breakfast and lunch to be set up on. Guys getting ready was upstairs and they have a basketball court, corn hole, big screen TV, and a cool look out at our ceremony & dance floor area. Greg and Jennifer were so easy to work with! They were very accommodating to all of our requests! They have a great vendor recommendation list - we used several of their recommendations and were very pleased!
