Christalee is such a gem! We hired her to do hair for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms, and makeup for me. Christalee was great at listening to the ideas I had and making me look a...
nd feel incredible! I wanted to feel like an elevated version of myself, and she totally nailed it. She worked with my features, enhancing them rather than trying to make me into something I’m not. I know my bridesmaids and the moms were very happy with their styles, too! Highly recommend booking with her for your next wedding or event!
I was not an easy client! i have a tough time making decisions. I wanted a very fantasy look, that was sun inspired with glitter. Our first trial i did a very heavy makeup that i w...
ore to my engagement shoot. I also requested wild and "viking" braid hair, that i also wore to my engagement shoot. I loved it, it looked great. That being said, i felt like it wasn't me. So i booked a second trial, brought no inspiration photos this time, and just described that i wanted my usual natural and no foundation, concealer look, but the fantasy makeup over that. Christalee delivered, and then delivered again at my wedding. My bridesmaids' gift was i paid for makeup. She had two assistants that day and started at 5am. She was perky, happy, warm, as were her assistants, and they really delivered the fairy looks i wanted for my girls. I had her makeup in the water, and it didn't even run!! our venue had no ac and her makeup stuck! definitely a great investment. for groom hair and makeup, bride hair and makeup, flowergirl hair, mob hair, gob makeup, 8 bridesmaid makeup, and 4 bridesmaid hair it came to about just under $3000
Christalee was an absolute blessing on my wedding day! I needed to find a makeup artist last minute, and I couldn’t have been luckier to have found her. She was everything I needed...
and more. Her makeup skills are simply amazing—she took my vision and made it a reality, leaving me feeling stunning and confident all day. The makeup was flawless and lasted beautifully. On top of her talent, Christalee’s calm and fun energy helped ease my nerves. I couldn’t recommend her more—she is truly gifted and a joy to work with!
Christalee is THE BEST! Her ability to understand exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup without me giving very helpful details was incredible. Not to mention the fact that m...
y hair and makeup looked picture perfect all night! As an added bonus, she is lovely to talk to which is great since it takes a while to get ready :)
I truly cannot say enough to express how fantastic Christalee was! From the first email correspondence she was friendly, prompt, and easy to work with. She gave us a detailed, outl...
ined quote quicky and after perusing her Instagram to see all of her amazing work, I knew she was the HMUA for us! Outside of an updo and dramatic eye, I wasn’t really sure how I wanted my wedding day look to be. Christalee listened to the types of things I liked (and didn’t like) and came up with the PERFECT hair and makeup duo. I’m not a very makeup savvy person so I was a little nervous for the trial, however she made the entire experience completely stress free and really fun! She is hilarious, personable, and truly beyond talented. I left that HMUA trial more excited than ever for the wedding. On the wedding day she was a calm in the chaos of the day. I felt like an absolute princess thanks to her! Not only was the makeup natural (sans the requested super dramatic eyes!) but that foundation did NOT budge as I sobbed my way through our vows and our siblings’ toasts. Not even the humid weather or a night of dancing could make that makeup look anything less than flawless! I highly recommend her for your wedding or honestly any special occasion - you will be so happy you did!
Christalee and her team were absolute ROCKSTARS! Christalee is sooo good at what she does. She was attentive, organized, and answered any questions we had. She was patient with me ...
and my crew, she reassured me, and was so talented. The team had no problem working with a variety of textures, complexions, and styles and we truly didn’t have any issues making sure we all felt beautiful. A very inclusive, spunky group of women and we are so blessed to have had this time with them. Thank you Christalee, Bailey, and Shelby for all that you did for us to make our day special!
Christalee was absolutely amazing to work with. The trial run was at her home studio was a very cute space. My mom had such a good time watching my trial that she actually signed u...
p to get her own! She is willing to try multiple hair styles/face makeup until you are pleased with results (I liked mine on the very first try!). She was prompt on the day of the wedding and her assistant was also very kind. Everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup. Mine lasted the ENTIRE night, even the lipstick! She is relocating to New Orleans and I would highly recommend her for any brides there!
Christalee, with Wild Child Fabrications, did hair + make-up for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding last month. I’ve been waiting for my pictures to come in before I...
left a review so I could show how absolutely AMAZING she is!! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us get ready for the wedding. She is insanely talented at both hair and make-up, and everyone was so happy with her work. Not only is she talented, but she is, no doubt, one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life. Christalee made getting ready fun and stress-free, and I can’t thank her enough! I’m not sure when I’ll need my hair + make-up done again, but when I do, Christalee will always be my first choice. Book her!! She is worth every penny, I promise!
Christalee stepped in last minute to help with hair for my wedding. She was professional, a great communicator, and understanding.
My make-up and hair on my wedding day was absolutely perfect! I don’t wear a lot of make-up normally so I was extremely nervous but Christalee was more than kind to work with me p...
rior to the wedding to make sure I was able to achieve the exact look I had dreamed of! I wanted to look like myself but a little more “finished”. I had tons of questions and requests and she responded promptly and kindly to them all! She even went so far as to go out and search for the shade of lip color I was requesting and even made sure she had the right foundation for my skin color.
As for the hair, I did not have a single complaint…it was just stunning! I showed her a few pictures of what I was thinking and she nailed it!!
I got so many compliments on my overall look on our wedding day. Thank you so much Christalee!! You made me feel comfortable and beautiful.
