very first consult Zoom call, I knew we would be in the best hands. She brought SO much peace, understanding, knowledge, resources, fun and problem solving to the entire planning process which this type A gal really needed. My husband and I were in Texas, but we knew we wanted to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony somewhere close to Ruidoso, New Mexico. Not being too familiar with the area, the biggest stress for me was finding a ceremony location. One of the many moments Jenn exceeded all of our expectations was when she emailed me not one, not two, but multiple ceremony locations that she selected based off of our hopes and dreams for the day. They were all so stunning and perfect, but we fell in love with two locations specifically and wanted to travel to see them in person. It was really important to us, that our immediate families would be able to access the ceremony location easily. When I communicated with Jenn that we would be traveling to go see those top two locations, with no hesitation, she excitedly wanted to join us to not only meet us for the first-time in person but to also make sure we were happy and able to make a ceremony location decision. That meant the world to us! For the next four or five months after that moment, Jenn continued communicating so effectively and offered help and support whenever needed. She created THE best timeline for the day, down to every detail, and was available to troubleshoot any issues if they came up. It brought me a lot of peace and comfort! Wedding day came, and I don't think my husband or I could have been any happier - we're still smiling about the day two months later! It was SO perfect, and a huge reason why is because of Jenn. Jenn taking our photos felt like hanging out with a close friend all day! She made us feel so comfortable, celebrated, and let us simply be us. AND she hung out with our families all day like it was nothing! Fast forward to receiving all of our photos (a day early might I add!!!) and I'm still speechless looking at them honestly. Her eye for detail, creativity, imagination, editing style, and adventurous spirit resulted in the wedding photos of our dreams and we could not be more grateful. graphers. Jenn’s website was the first one to catch my eye — based solely on the images that came up. Her photography was absolutely stunning & intimate & magical. We reached out & scheduled our consult over Zoom. We immediately felt super comfy with Jenn. She understood our goals behind having a small, intimate destination wedding & also had a ton of good feedback for us as we started on planning our big day. When we shared the date we had in mind, it turned out to be her own wedding anniversary with her husband, Dillen. We were bummed because we assumed that she wouldn’t be available based on that, but Jenn jumped onboard quickly & we decided to celebrate the day together with Dillen in tow as her second shooter. I can’t stress this enough: our wedding wouldn’t have looked the same, or probably even have been possible, without Jenn’s input & guidance. This was our first time planning a destination wedding - & doing it from several states, & several hundred miles, away. Jenn recommended our officiant, who was tremendous. Jenn recommended our florist, who did an excellent job & took such good care of us. Jenn put us in touch with the chef that catered lunch after our ceremony & made our wedding cake. Jenn took it upon herself to track down a vintage Mercedes to use in our photos, when we came up short, & saved the day. Our wedding day was absolutely everything we could have dreamed of & more. And that’s a direct result of having Jenn (& Dillen) on our team. We were a little nervous that meeting Jenn & Dillen in person on our wedding day might be distracting or there could be a little awkwardness on one of the most intimate days our of lives but that was silly. The second they walked in, it was like reuniting with old friends. More than that, having Jenn & Dillen with us added so much to the day. I can honestly say that, outside of the moments where we took some posed group shots, I don’t remember them being around us shooting. What I do remember are the conversations we had, the laughs we had & how seen, supported & loved we felt. Jenn & Dillen are so incredibly good at what they do that I didn’t even know they were doing it so much of the time. When we got the photos back, we were so surprised & thankful to see all the moments they captured. And the photos. It’s impossible to look at the images that Jenn & Dillen captured, & Jenn so beautifully processed, without being right back in that day — in that moment. That’s what drew us to Jenn’s work in the first place: her pictures capture the emotion of the moment. And boy did she deliver on ours! We can’t look at half of them without crying, because the overwhelming joy of that day comes back to us. She perfectly balanced guiding us (with regard to best hiking locations, recommended vendors) and letting us lead, resulting in refined plans that we absolutely loved. Planning a small wedding/elopement for us and our closest friends from states away was a daunting task. Jenn helped us think through every detail, from time of day to the accessibility needs of our guests to flowers and food. This remained true in our communications throughout the months leading up to our big adventure. Jenn was wonderfully communicative, checking in with us periodically and answering our every question. When the forecast turned gloomy and cold, she helped us develop back-up plans to make sure we'd still have the adventure of a lifetime. On the day of, Jenn was everything you'd expect from a photographer (timely, communicative, warm), but also went above and beyond to put us at ease. Neither me nor my partner particularly thrive in front of a camera and Jenn made the entire experience so comfortable. She was encouraging, joy-filled, and, perhaps most importantly to us, centered our authentic experiences throughout the day. Nothing was staged, posed, or scripted. Every moment was just us being our goofy selves. Instead of worrying for a single second what pictures might look like, we got to focus entirely on the bliss of taking this big adventure with each other. She made sure we knew that the day was about us celebrating our relationship, not about making sure pictures came out a certain way and she did so in the most non-directive, supportive, gentle way possible. And then the pictures came in and y'all!!!! They are pure magic! Light and love and joy just ooooooze from the images. I've had several friends comment that they have never seen such impressively gorgeous wedding photos. One of my European friends said it was the most beautiful, authentic, joyful wedding she'd ever seen come out of the US. I loved everything about our wedding and I am so so grateful that Jenn distilled and captured everything I loved about our day into so many perfect pictures. Our goal for our wedding was something small, genuine, silly, adventure-filled, and joyful. We weren't even sure if we wanted a photographer. is absolutely captivating and she exceeded all of our expectations. Jenn is super organized, personable, easy going, flexible and makes the wedding photos process feel natural. I love how i never felt too posed and our photos turned out organic and candid and felt very “us.” We took the opportunity to go on a little hike after our ceremony to our spot where we got engaged, Jenn and Dillen planned the whole route so perfectly and we even found a new way to get there :) I loved being able to let go of the wedding stress in the middle of nature and just enjoy and be present in the quiet of the day. My husband hates taking photos and even mentioned how much he enjoyed the photography because he didn’t feel any pressure. My favorite and most memorable moment is when Jenn and Dillen got into the water (Dillen about waist height) to capture the perfect moment. Not only was this one of my favorite photos but it was such a blast as an experience. Our photos turned out better than we could have hoped and dreamed and I’m so grateful we hired them. The google form she sent us to fill out prior to our wedding was one of the most helpful aspects of the process - it really had us consider before the event what was most important and what images we wanted to be sure to capture, rather than playing it by ear the day of and missing shots that we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Jenn was so relaxed, which helped us to feel that way as well. Our guests even commented on how friendly she was! We were also able to have her husband, Dillen, video our ceremony as a favor to us and the result was simply beautiful! We were blown away when we received our photos - words cannot express how happy we were to see our special day captured in Jenn's stunning images!!! We are so excited to display these photos in our home and share them with our loved ones. And most importantly, we are so grateful to have them to look back on to remember our special day. out. My partner and I really hate getting our picture taken. Jenn made it so comfortable and she was so open to our ideas. We have a dog that we really wanted in our pictures and she was so open to making that work for us. And, more importantly, her pictures are STUNNING! She just loves photography and it comes through in her professionalism and her pictures. We also had a videographer who she has not worked with in the past and she was so flexible and professional working with them to make everything the perfect experience.
