for her job is infectious, and her love of weddings and brides (that even I didn’t have as a bride!) makes for an exceptional experience. At every step of the way we were always confident in going to her with questions and for recommendations. Planning a wedding from a distance is very difficult and Robin always reassured us that everything would be ok! She was realistic about what we technically needed and what would be preferable. For example, with the number of guests we were recommended to have a 40x60 tent, but Robin suggested we upgrade to a slightly larger one, 40x80, to make the space seem more comfortable. And she was exactly right! The space felt open, airy, and even though it was hot because of all the dancing, everyone was comfortable! We have a lot of trust in Robin, and she has trust in her venders, which in turn made the entire experience much more enjoyable. Jean at the Blue Heron Restaurant also deserves an honorable mention! She coordinated drinks for us for a barbecue on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, and an entire brunch on Sunday. While there was a slight hiccup with alcohol acquisition, she did everything she could to solve the problem. You can never avoid problems, particularly with weddings, and Jean handled the corrections with such care that it is commendable! She was always open and clear about the situation, and we are very grateful for all of her help. If you are planning an Eagle River wedding, Wild Eagle Lodge is the place to do it!

They are large and the Wild Eagle offers steep discounts to wedding guests. The Wild Eagle offers the support of a wedding coordinator who will ensure you are in touch with the right vendors (and will help coordinate those communications) but they do not contract services directly through them. Catering, tent rental, etc will all be contracted separately. We chose to have our wedding in a large tent on the event grounds. They keep the lawn well manicured and ensured that everything is clean and perfect for the big day. Eagle River was a destination for us (we live in Madison, WI) and the comments we received from our guest were outstanding; needless to say they did not mind the trip. Do not hesitate to go look at Wild Eagle and book your wedding here. They will ensure all is perfect for your big day!

The setting is absolutely gorgeous and they were very accomodating. All of the staff was really helpful and freiendly. I reccommend the Wild Eagle to EVERYONE. If you are looking for a perfect place to have your wedding "Up North" this is the best place you could choose. They did everything from lighting my candles to setting up and taking down the chairs for my ceremony. They also let me decide what I wanted and went out of their way to accomodate my requests. Tammy (the wedding cordinator) helped me with everything including picking a photographer, florist and DJ. I honestly can't say enough good things about the Wild Eagle! Thank you again sooo much!
