Wild Flour and Gina made us the most delicious unique cake for our wedding at The Liberty Warehouse. We went for our tasting and with Gina the options are completely endless for your dessert. We even added on a last minute single serving vegan cheesecake for a guest who is vegan so she could enjoy dessert and she absolutely loved her dessert. If you want a completely unique personalized dessert with endless options then book Wild Flour.
My husband and I were so happy to find WildFlour in LIC a few months before our wedding! We were initially on the fence about getting a wedding cake, but as soon as we met Gina for our tasting, we knew we needed to have a WildFlour cake.
We loved the unique, modern, and (most importantly) delicious cake/frosting options - it was hard to choose, but we ended up doing a champagne vanilla cake with champagne & honey lavender buttercream for our wedding cake. (For what it’s worth, my husband is not a cake/dessert person, but he loved the WildFlour cakes. His direct quote: “Best cake I have ever had”)
Leading up to our wedding, Gina was super responsive and accommodating with a couple of changes we wanted to make. On the day of our wedding, Gina coordinated her delivery with my florist so that she could decorate the cake with fresh flowers. The end result was beautiful and the cake was incredible! (In fact, we ended up eating the top tier of our cake the day after our wedding because there was no way we could wait a year.)
We are so happy to have Gina in LIC and will look forward to ordering many more desserts from her in the near future!
Wild Flour baked exactly what we wanted for a wedding cake. Gina's tasting was so flexible, we got to try every permutation of cake that she could whip up - and she had a killer playlist to accompany. My father-in-law is gluten free, and hasn't had a slice of wedding cake in twenty years. Gina made an additional gluten-free cake for him in the exact same flavors as the main cake, and he was floored by how good it was. We keep thinking up more excuses to order Wild Flour cakes, because they're just amazing cakes.

We were impressed by the gallery of cakes shown on Wild Flour's website and decided to book a cake tasting with them. The tasting was such a pleasant and fun experience where Gina and team allowed us to mix and match different flavors and buttercream together, almost as if we were running some science experiments. One of the biggest reasons we picked Wild Flour was because their cake was moist, light and not too sweet; not to mention you can design the layers and flavors just the way you wanted. The cake received so many compliments on the day-of and it was such a pleasure working with Wild Flour's passionate and patient team. My husband and I cannot wait to order again with them for our next event or party!
Gina made a delicious and beautiful cake for our wedding! The tasting experience was very fun. You get to go in and try a few cakes and a few fillings / frosting so that you can piece together a fully custom wedding cake. She perfectly implemented our request for an Art Deco design. The cake not only looked great but also tasted amazing. We loved working with Wild Flour and would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious cake for an NYC wedding.
Ordered a custom wedding cake from Wild Flour, and it was excellent! Gina was very easy to work with, our cake tasting was so much fun, the cake was delivered on time on the day of the wedding and we couldn't have been more excited. Definitely recommend Wild Flour for custom cakes and other pastries. It's all very delicious!
The cake was so beautiful and delicious!! The flavors and quality really stood out. Everyone who tasted it really loved it -- not the usual case with wedding cake. My only disappointment was the quantity— several mentioned that they didn’t get to have any, but others said they had multiple pieces-- so that's probably the reason we ran short. Gina is a pleasure to work with.
After our first meeting, we were so excited for this particular bakery to provide our wedding cake. The vision we created was simple and elegant, however, the cake we received on our wedding day was nowhere close to what was discussed. Instead of a cake with asymmetric, neat lines consisting of merlot, goldenrod, turquoise, champagne, and burgundy piping, we received sloppy drippings of kelly green, hot pink, and mauve. It was so disappointing and dissimilar from what we asked for that the planners had to cover the cake with flowers before I could even say anything. I wished the team had articulated in advance that they could not complete the requested service as it would have saved us both time and frustration.
I can't recommend Gina and Wild Flour enough!!! Working with Gina on our wedding cake was a joy. She understood our vision exactly and helped us design the wedding cake of our dreams. Our guests could not stop raving about the cake. I'm so happy that we ordered a bigger cake than we needed because our guests were going back for seconds!!! You will not regret working with Gina and the Wild Flour team!!!
BEST CAKE EVER!! First off, Gina is awesome. We had so much fun meeting her and doing our cake tasting. I think "fun" is a really key word here, because she allows (and encourages) you to customize your cake pretty much however you want. Our final product was a three-tiered cake, and each tier had alternating layers of Funfetti and Sparkling Rosé cake, separated by cream cheese and almond-flavored frosting. It looked gorgeous and tasted SO good. (Of course, if you want to stick with something more traditional, that's 100% doable as well!) Multiple people told me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. There was not a single crumb left by the end of the night. We did order on the conservative side (in the name of not wasting food), but also, several people told me that they went back for seconds. On the admin side of things, I really appreciated that we were able to adjust the size (and thus, price) of the cake a week prior to the wedding because it's hard to have certainty around guest count when you order the cake (for us, about 9 months in advance). In summary: Five stars for the process, and five stars for the final product!
Beyond obsessed and still dreaming about how delicious our wedding cake and cookies/treats were from Wild Flour! Everything turned out so beautiful and Gina is amazing to work with. I’ll never go anywhere else for a cake or desserts!!
The wedding cake that Gina at Wild Flour NYC made for our May 13th wedding at MyMoon was by far the best wedding cake I have ever had in my life -- and I am not just saying that because it was our wedding! So delicious, so perfectly moist! From our first tasting, I knew that Gina was a true cake visionary. She made us a vanilla champagne and sparkling rosé cake with lemon buttercream, coated with a thin layer of honey lavender buttercream on the outside (naked cake style). Perfection. Guest raved about how good the cake was! My husband and I were delighted to have some extra cake to take home after the wedding, and we've been treating ourselves to slices on special occasions since the wedding. Thank you so much Gina, especially for being so flexible and compassionate after we had to reschedule the wedding not once, but three times, due to COVID! <3
Wild Flour made the cake for our wedding and when I say it was the best cake we have ever had we are not lying- it was incredible. We did the Champagne Chocolate and Rose Champagne cakes and it was so moist. Everyone commented that it was an amazing cake AND gorgeous.
The cake was phenomenal, gorgeous and tasty and everyone raved about the flavor combination. Gina patiently heard all my crazy and sometimes contradicting ideas and made them into a beautiful work of art. Yshe was so kind, so thoughtful and attentive I cannot gush enough about the process and the outcome.
The mini desserts were a complete hit, we only had 5 left which is amazing since we budgeted for 4 desserts plus cake per person. Everyone raved about the flavors, the variety and that they couldn't stop coming back for more. The 5 we had left over we devoured with champagne the next morning and will be dreaming about them for years to come.

We had a Sparkling Rose wedding for our big day. Gina was able to make us the best tasting wedding cake on earth.

Gina (The Owner) is an absolutely amazing baker. I have ordered several cakes from her and they were all deliciously flawless! She has so many different tasty options to choose from and the cakes are gorgeous. She had the cakes ready on time and her prices were incredibly reasonable.

When we walked in for our tasting with Wild Flour, we knew pretty much right away this was going to be the perfect cake for us. Their flavors were so creative and absolutely delicious! And we loved that we were able to infuse some champagne and bourbon into our cake, keeping the party going at dessert time. Then there was the look! We absolutely loved the design of our cake. The naked cake frosting was the right style we were going for and it matched the look of our wedding perfectly. It really felt like a work of art, I almost didn’t want to cut into it!
Wild Flour was fantastic- I have never known so many people to comment on the cake and that it was the most delicious they had experienced at a wedding- and it was wonderful- Gina was so easy to work with - the tasting at her bakery was personal and fun - she handled the special topper, cake stand and flowers on the cake with such care and delivery went off perfectly - great choice for our special day for sure!
Wildflour is amazing!!! We opted to have a large spread of doughnuts in lieu of a traditional wedding cake, but wanted something small for us to cut, and despite it being high wedding season they made us a perfect small cake that we could enjoy at the reception. Gina was so thorough and easy to work with and our red velvet cake with champagne buttercream was spectacular!!! We put it on the dessert station after we cut it and it was devoured! Everyone who had some said it was the best wedding cake they'd tasted. We also had some five days after our wedding and it kept perfectly in the fridge. We highly recommend them!
Gorgeous cake, tastes divine. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE said that our cake was the most delicious wedding cake they've ever tasted. We went with vanilla champagne and sparkling rose cake with honey lavender icing decorated with flowers. It was beyond expectations.
We also had so much fun at our tasting and the lovely ladies were very prompt with all my questions. I love that we supported women-owned business on our special day.

A beautiful and delicious cake, what else can I say? We really enjoyed the entire process with them, we had a hard decision choosing what cake and icing because they where all so darn good!! Pick them if you want to have a wedding cake that isn't only just beautiful on the outside, but tastes amazing as well!
Kristina's cakes taste as amazing as they look.I ordered one for my mom's birthday and it was an easy effortless process and the cake was so good I hid a few slices for myself to enjoy the days after the party!
The ladies of Wildflour NYC made us a gorgeous and amazingly delicious wedding cake. So much so that people not only took it home with them but asked what was in it. Definitely not your typical wedding cake. You could taste the fresh ingredients and love in every bite...we can’t wait to have another slice on our first anniversary!
They were both a pleasant, fun and very easy to work with throughout the tasting and finalizing of details. We look forward to their creations for celebrations to come.

The ladies at WildflourNYC provided our wedding with such a phenomenal cake , we literally heard for days after how delicious the cake at our wedding was ,and not to mention absolutely beautiful. WildflourNYC added the perfect touch to our special day and I highly recommend them for any occasion
Honestly one of the best cakes we ever had. Many of our guests echoed the same thing. We did dark chocolate champagne + vanilla champagne with salted vanilla buttercream + brown sugar buttercream. We can't wait to eat our top tier on our one year anniversary!
This review is long overdue. The ladies at Wild Flour made my wedding cake back in February. We had a whirlwind wedding and requested the cake only a few days before. The ladies were punctial with responding and had the cake in time! As a celiac sufferer, I don’t often get to enjoy wedding cake. Also, a lot of gluten free cakes are not the best. We had a delicious lemon cake with almond frosting. Everyone still raving about it and nobody knew it was gf!
Kristina and Gina were amazing to work with! I had asked for a Funfetti cake with Funfetti frosting since it’s both of our favorites and they sure delivered! Not only did the cake look beautiful but it also tasted just as amazing. I would recommend them for all parties!!!!!!
The team at Wild Flour NYC were AMAZING! Really love them, they were so helpful and responsive. Even letting me do the cake tasting twice as my now husband was in the UK the first time I met with them - all free of charge which was great. The cake was absolutely delicious! Guests couldn't stop raving about how good it was and we took the top tier home with us and trust me, it didn't last very long. We went with a three tier white cake with silver brush strokes and a floral arrangement with a personalised topper. The flavours were the best cake flavours I have ever had. The champagne flavours are to die for and the salted vanilla bean still makes me weak in the knees! Highly recommend them!
These cakes are incredible. Our guests could not stop raving about our wedding cake and neither can we! And they are so lovely to work with. We couldn't decide on just one cake flavor so we had two: champagne vanilla and dutch chocolate, both with salted vanilla buttercream in between the layers and almond buttercream on the exterior. It was insanely delicious! These really are unlike any other cakes I've ever had, much better than any standard bakery cake in my opinion!
We loved that the girls from Wild Flour are from Astoria since that's where we live. We went to our tasting at one of the girls apartments in Astoria, they were so easygoing but professional and had some good ideas to help us put together the perfect cake. We ended up doing a lemon cake with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream frosting, finished off with a grand marnier brush. I loved the cake and so did all of our guests, the taste was great and it looked great (we did a "naked" frosted look cake with some simple flowers for decoration).
