Amanda has a passion for wedding planning and loves listening to couples' stories and turning their visions into reality. She obtained a degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida and has planned everything from intimate bridal showers to large corporate functions. Her devotion to helping people pushed her to start an event planning company of her own. Amanda works tirelessly on every project she starts and always delivers a fantastic party.
Melissa joined in 2025 and has brought her attention to detail and love for love. She attended University of Central Florida and has a degree in Hospitality Management. Her passion for florals & décor combined with her "whatever it takes" attitude make her a great planner for any couple.
Wild Garden Weddings & Events has an array of different options you can choose from for wedding assistance. Amanda & Melissa offer a complimentary consultation to get to know you, discuss your event needs, and answer your questions. During your scheduled meetings, your event planner can give you advice on vendors, décor & design, ways to save money, timelines, and anything else you might not have even thought of! Amanda & Melissa can also provide non-package hourly consulting for those who just need a bit of extra help with their planning.

- Amanda PowersOwner & Lead PlannerAmanda is a beagle mom of two, lover of flowers, dance, music, and tacos! Wild Garden Weddings & Events (formerly The Crafts & Cocktails Co.) was born back in 2019 when she hosted a crafting party with a cocktail demonstration for a group of friends. Amanda was peer pressured into starting a fun little side business! She holds a degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida, and after 10 years of corporate event planning with Disney, the University of Florida, and The City of Gainesville, a good friend reached out to her in 2021 asking for help with her wedding. The friend just wanted to scrap everything and elope! Amanda helped to organize her files and tie up loose ends and the sense of relief her friend felt at the end of their coffee date sparked so much joy. Her experience with bartending, photography, florals, design, and logistics, with a deep connection to capturing special moments made her a perfect match for wedding planning. For the past few years, Amanda has been slowly steering her ship towards weddings and now it's full speed ahead!
