type-A bride and groom (double whammy) who live out of town, we anticipated being stressed throughout the process. To our pleasant surprise, we found ourselves feeling relaxed and stopping on a daily basis to thank our lucky stars we decided to hire Willa. Besides Willa’s willingness to answer countless calls, her eye for design, and her general go-getter attitude, two major events stand out throughout the planning process that would make anyone crazy not to hire her. The first came early in the process, when Willa was able to use her well-established connections to arrange a menu tasting at our venue, which typically excludes small weddings like ours. Not only did Willa pull some strings to get the reluctant venue coordinators on board, she managed to have it land on the one weekend we were available to go to NYC. The second event came the week before the wedding. Our photographer decided last-minute that we should add an hour of her services to ensure we got all the shots we wanted. Willa didn’t even bat an eye and, just five days before the wedding, proceeded to completely rearrange the timeline to accommodate the changes. Naturally, we were feeling overwhelmed but Willa literally said that she was “tapping us out” and then immediately began contacting other vendors to ensure they were prepared for the timeline updates. By time the day came, everything went absolutely flawless. We even had both sets of in-laws call the event “perfect” and we’ve never seen our friends/family so excited. We cannot thank the Wild Heights team enough for giving us the chic, dreamy Brooklyn wedding of our dreams.

erfect wedding that we envisioned. From aesthetics, to planning/coordinating our vendors, to creating and building actual pieces for our wedding, she really covered it all. She listened to us about all the things we wanted, and with her experience, was able to give us direction in the areas we needed guidance. I appreciate that we were able to be intentional about every aspect of our plans and it read through on the day of our wedding. She put together an incredible team of vendors to deliver the most beautiful wedding that I could have dreamt of, a combination of urban, tropical, and minimal, allowing each element of our planning to shine. On the day of our wedding, Willa and her assistant were on site and took care of everything! And even if we had an idea of how great everything would look, we were still blown away at how amazing it all came together. Willa and her team were able to make a completely empty space look so, so, so fabulous!! During our wedding we didn’t have to worry about anything. I’m sure like with all events, there were some small hiccups, but with Willa’s team there, any issues were resolved on the spot, to the point that we and our guests didn’t even notice it. When our late night pizza order fell through, Willa was still able to get all of our guests the pizza we wanted. One of our frozen drink machines broke, and the very next day called to let the vendor know so that we could be refunded. We had such a fun and memorable time working with Willa. Even with the pandemic and all the uncertainty, she was so understanding and helped us so much. Our day was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for more. She’s a true professional and expert at what she does, and I would recommend Willa and Wild Heights Events to anyone who is looking for a wedding designer/planner/coordinator.

On our wedding day, one of the vendors provided by the venue had a big slip up, but Willa and her team jumped in immediately to mend the situation and kept the day running smoothly.
