Danyele and Devonte were my Husband and I's favorite vendor choice for the whole wedding. We got married in April 2026 and just recently received our full gallery. I can not overs...
ell how gorgeous these photos are and how happy we are with them. The day of, they took so many pictures and it felt like we took them so quickly! Danyele makes it so easy and fun to get pictures taken and I swear she takes them so efficiently. It took the full time she said it would to receive our galleries for both the wedding photos and engagement shoot, but we always got them and most of my friends wedding photos took much longer to get back. I also loved that she showed us some of the photos she took as she was taking them. Danyele is one of the only photographers I found in my area with this editing style in our price range, and I am so so happy we went with her. The pictures captured the vibes of our day perfectly and I will cherish them forever.
I unfortunately have to write this review after my experience with Danyele. We hired her at the beginning of 2025, and at first everything seemed fine. Our engagement shoot went we...
ll, and we received those photos on time. Communication was always somewhat slow — usually about a week for a response — but I tried to be understanding and patient. Things changed in early 2026 when my venue and coordinator needed specific information from Danyele regarding the wedding. Between myself, my coordinator, and my venue, we reached out over 10 times between January and March with no response. Nobody could get in contact with her. At that point, the lack of communication became extremely unprofessional and began affecting other vendors involved in my wedding. My coordinator eventually had to reach out expressing serious concerns about communication. Only then did we finally receive an email explaining that she was “busy with multiple weddings stacked closer together” and had “health concerns come up.” In that same email, she informed us that she would no longer be photographing my wedding herself and would instead send a replacement photographer. This was just 3 weeks before my wedding. What was most upsetting was that this decision was made without any discussion with me beforehand. I only found out because we repeatedly reached out after months of poor communication. Had we not continued following up, I honestly don’t know when we would have been told. I explained that I was not comfortable moving forward with a replacement photographer. I hired and paid for HER specifically to photograph one of the most important days of my life. After the ongoing communication issues and last-minute change, I no longer felt confident trusting her or anyone representing her company. Despite paying in full, she refused to offer any meaningful refund, repeatedly hiding behind the contract instead of acknowledging how unprofessionally the situation had been handled. Eventually, she agreed to provide a very small “goodwill refund” that was less than half of the original deposit I paid over a year ago and she accepted no fault whatsoever. Because of this situation, I had to find and pay for an entirely new photographer only weeks before my wedding, creating unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting time. I understand emergencies and health issues can happen. However, the complete lack of communication, the last-minute decision-making, and the unwillingness to take accountability made this experience incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this photographer to anyone.

I’m splitting this review into two parts: photography and videography.
Photography – 4.5/5
Danyele’s customer service, planning, and the photos themselves were excellent. The styl...
e was exactly what we were looking for, and the overall process was smooth and professional.
The only reason this isn’t a full 5/5 is that the final gallery was delivered late in the evening on the last day of the 12-week contractual deadline. While technically on time, it did create some uncertainty.
Videography – 2/5
This is difficult to write because the final product itself is genuinely great. The highlight video is cinematic, emotional, and well put together, and the raw footage includes multiple angles with solid audio quality.
However, the issue was the delivery and communication. The video content was delivered 7 months and 25 days after the wedding, which is ~4 months later than the expected timeline we were given.
Communication during this period was inconsistent and often unresponsive. The video was only delivered after I raised the possibility of pursuing small claims court.
For couples booking wild in bloom, I would strongly recommend getting a clearly defined videography delivery timeline in writing and ensuring expectations around communication are explicit.
I didn’t want to write this review… Seriously, I didn’t. I love leaving positive reviews and I wanted to do that for Danyele and Devonte too…but I could not.
After receiving our ...
“first look” at our photos, I emailed Danyele with concerns about the coloring and asked if the true colors of our day could be represented in our photos. I wanted to express this kindly and early so that “re-work” did not need to be done. She never responded. After the full 12-week wait, we received all of our photos. While they did capture a large selection of photos from our day and we are grateful, the coloring was just sadly not what I had hoped for—looking more muted when our colors were intentionally bright. (If you saw the edited photos, you would not have even known what our wedding colors were. In our wedding album, I ended up including cell phone images from friends of my bouquet because the edits looked like totally different colors.) I kindly asked Danyele again if it would be possible to either get some re-edits or to get the originals and she replied with a pasted portion of her contract basically saying no. Fair enough…we signed the contract and she did technically fulfill it. However, as a photographer in the service business (especially one as special as wedding capture), I would have expected more care to at least try to accommodate our request. Instead, we barely got any communication at all and zero willingness to work with us. So sad…
We also had paid them for video of our wedding day. After 6.5 months of waiting and a handful of emails asking when we would receive it (after months of hearing nothing about it), we finally received our video files. We were sadly again disappointed. 😢 There were portions of our ceremony and reception not captured, including our flower girls and ring bearers, which I was most excited to see as, being the bride, I missed that portion of the day following behind them. Our nephews had prepared a special dance during the reception and this too was left out. After emailing twice to see if we could get those portions of video (edited or not), we heard nothing in reply. We also expected a little more creativity from our video and hoped for something we could post on social media. What we received was straight footage and even still, pieces missing. (I will note that there was very little communication from them about what the video would be—only number of hours being paid for.)
Our wedding day was beautiful and we loved the day and so did our guests, but we do both regret our choice of this particular vendor and that is sad. Especially since we really did try to work with them and they just did not respond or seem to care at all.
That said, if considering booking, please make sure you LOVE Wild in Bloom’s color filtering style for your own aesthetic. There will be no changing it. Please know that in our experience, you will not receive much communication beyond the booking and contract process both before and after the event. Know you may wait a while for your product. And know that they are not ones to work especially hard (or even moderately) to ensure customer satisfaction. I wish this weren’t our experience. I hope better for the next couple. We wish them well. But we are sincerely disappointed. 😭
Danyele and Devonte were absolutely amazing to work with. Danyele communicated everything really well, made sure I was set with choices, helped us work around the rain for both our...
wedding and engagement photos, and helped us work out a great schedule to fit everything in. They both have amazing personalities and were extremely easy to get along and work with. I loved the previous photos they had done for other couples and the style that she did caught my eye. I 100% recommend them to anyone asking for a photographer/videographer in the area!
