We we live in LA and planned our wedding from out of state. Mike was so amazing from the first call!! He helped us plan our Boulder wedding and made everything so much more manageable for us. I can't recommend him enough if you need a great photographer and basically your own local tour guide.

I’m in a wedding that will occur around Boulder CO, and already Mike has been great to work with! He has been so great with communication, flexible with changing of schedules, and open to different picture idea and locations! He has also been truly amazing with the bride and her mother (who can be a bit anxious to say the least) and being the mistress of ceremony has been a challenge. On the wedding day itself, Mike was chill while still being professional, which helped us relax and enjoy our time. Mike photographed my wedding and was wonderful to work with every step of the way. He was very responsive to communication which made coordination a breeze. He had a calm, laid back, kind presence and made a lovely addition to our very small event (just nuclear family). He gave us some light instruction for group photos, but mostly captured what was happening throughout the experience. The result was just what we were hoping for - a true snapshot of the many emotions we felt that over the course of the day and into the evening. Absolutely beautiful work. He was also very flexible with us. I'd initially asked him to stay for 4 hours, but because everything ran longer than planned, he ended up staying for 7! He's an amazing artist and great guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Mike with Wild Iris Media was incredible to work with. The quality of the photos after the weddings is stunning! In most photos we look like the only people at the Denver Botanic Gardens. WIM was super easy to work with and flexible given it turned into wedding-S (pandemic chipped the wedding into a few smaller events that WIM was able to work with us and cover--a huge catalog of pictures to chose from for both events, a lot of variety, all top quality). It was also great to work with Wild Iris Media in the sense that Mike was very comfortable to be around shooting photos-no formality or tension to overcome, they all came off easily and natural.

I would HIGHLY recommend working with Mike! We were traveling from Minnesota to Colorado for our ceremony and weren’t sure where exactly we would want our pictures to take place. Mike was so willing to work with us and go with the flow. We never felt stressed when discussing our options or schedule with him. Mike is definitely an artist. His photos of our tiny covid-safe wedding came out beautifully and he adapted to all of our changes. If I could go back in time, I would have him stick around longer to take more photos, because I love the ones I have so much that it made me want more! But yeah, he's also very easy to talk to. Everyone liked having him around!

Mike, was a complete and total pleasure to work with! We sought him out after we decided to elope due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mike traveled 5 hours one way to shoot our elopement and was very reasonable with his travel costs. He arrived on time, was very professional and even spent a little extra time shooting with us! We chose Mike based on his lighting and framing and when we received our photos we were not disappointed. Our experience with him couldn't have been better and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Mike perfectly captured my rainy mountain wedding and was fully monitoring the weather radar with me- taking every opportunity for pictures when the clouds parted and coming up with back up plans when it was down pouring. I love our pictures, so happy with our choice of photographer!

Mike is a rockstar! He took our wedding photos for a small, covid wedding/elopment in Jully and did such an amazing job capturing all the little moments throughout the time we spent in RMNP. He was more than happy to go to a couple different locations to get just the right photos for us and worked with us to avoid bad weather even. The entire time felt very natural, not forced at all and we didn't do any cheesy posed photos (except for funny ones that we requested!). We're planning on having Mike take photos for our reception being held in 2021 and cannot wait to see what beautiful photos come from that as well. Would 1000% recommend using Mike/Wild Iris Media to anyone who is looking for someone who has huge talent, captures candid moments and has an eye for the perfect photo.

Mike was amazing to work with! We had an elopement session at the Denver botanical gardens and the pictures exceeded my dreams! His vision is on-point and we appreciated him having such a laid-back personality and quick turn-around time. He gave multiple copies of every image (black/white and color) and took some shots that we never would have thought of! We are thrilled and would use his services again!

As weddings sometimes do things got a bit crazy from the venue to the weather. Mike still got all the shots we wanted and then some. The next time we need photos we'll certainly use him again.
