both our engagement session and wedding day look so beautiful and natural! She also was able to tailor the pictures to exactly what we wanted to focus on. Apart from capturing the love we have for each other, we really wanted to capture the beauty of the nature around us and the joy and fun that our friends and family had on that day, and she absolutely delivered! She made us feel comfortable every step of the way and was available to answer questions whenever we needed clarification or advice. My husband and I absolutely love our pictures and we highly recommend Kristen as she is an exceptional photographer!

ss of finding a photographer, I became discouraged quickly when looking at so many websites but found they weren't easy to navigate or find information on. When I found Kristin's, I immediately felt enlivened and excited because first off, her website had so much information and was so easy to use. The more I explored, the more I was impressed by her organization, information provided, galleries uploaded, and how she presented herself. She was the first and only photographer I showed my fiancé and then immediately booked a consultation with. On our first call with her, we were immediately struck by how comfortable she made us feel and excited about taking photos as neither of us knew what to expect. She made everything so personable and presented all of her information so clearly. We went in to the appointment expecting for her to not be available and/or to not be able to afford her with our budget. We were totally blown away that she was free on our wedding day and that our budget would work with her pricing. The follow-up email was so helpful as it featured different galleries to showcase the options of packages we talked about of time length. Her packages are so easy to work through and so customizable, we were just amazed at the ease of it!   The engagement session was so much fun. She made it so easy to laugh and get to know her and the location she picked was just amazing. We're both very awkward people in front of the camera and she made it so easy to be ourselves. I love her spontaneity to just say, "here's a great spot, let's try this!"  She was so conscientious to ask about our level of PDA that we were comfortable with ahd provided such great suggestions with poses. It didn't even feel like we had someone taking photos of us! Our engagement photos are something that we treasure and get so many compliments on. As the wedding got closer, her emails of tips and tricks provided a lot of good resources for me as I created a timeline and photo list. She was so gracious when we explained the family complications with photos and helped us create an order for how to navigate that. I honestly felt so cared for and prepared by her in just how easily reachable she was, the information provided in tips and tricks emails, and in her responses.  We had her do rehearsal coverage and we're so thankful we did. It was such a gift to have her there to get the lightning adjusted the night before so that that didn't have to be done the day of. We knew that having a 250 person wedding would prevent us from getting photos and time with everyone so we opted to invite them to the rehearsal dinner. The photos of just us and our out-of-town guests that we invited are so priceless. It was a special and more relaxed time that we're so glad we got captured as we didn't get many if any photos with those people at the wedding the next day.  On our wedding day, she really was an anchor. She was so kind and patient with handling my, the coordinator, and the family's questions. She so thoughtfully brought fancy hangers for my dress, extra cloth for detail shots, ring boxes, and you name it, she had it. Despite many people stepping in to ask for this or that photo, what time was this, where was this, etc. she and the second shooter were poised and grateful even when part of their lunch didn't show up (forever mortified by that.) There was a lot that didn't go according to plan before wedding-shots, but she helped me stay calm and reassured everyone that they would get their photo taken. My getting ready photos and first look with my family members are some that I'll always treasure as some of my favorite photos. They capture such raw, momentary emotion from people that I will cherish forever. Our ceremony photos are gorgeous and we're so thankful for her attention to detail as she so patiently dealt with a million "EXIT" signs and their lighting. She and her second shooter also got us not only back on track but AHEAD of schedule after the ceremony despite playing catch up with before ceremony photos and all of the family photos afterward. Our private couple's session was so special and again it was so easy to just enjoy time together and basically forget that there were others there taking photos. She utilized the area around us so well to make the landscape add to the photo rather than us or the landscape competing against one another. She was so gracious to take silly photos and memento photos that we suggested/requested. Her spontaneity and eye for creativity found some amazing locations on site that created the most amazing photos. Our reception coverage was everything we could've asked for and more, she ca[ture our guests and the details just perfectly. We managed to almost run her over during our first dance, but she reacted with such poise and grace that it wasn't even noticed by our guests. Throughout all of the day, she was so poised, graceful, gracious, calm, collected, and just absolutely incredibly wonderful!  The sneak peaks were just incredible and we were beyond shocked and amazed that we got them the next day! We watched them at least a dozen times in the first hour of getting them. They were so special and just made us even more eager to see the whole gallery.  I cannot recommend Kristin highly enough. Whether you love being in front of a camera or not, she will make you feel totally at ease. She made every step of planning and our sessions so much fun to laugh, share, and be ourselves and that is something I'm forever grateful for. The photos are so beautiful and showcase the beauty of the location where we got married and used it so well to complement us. She helped smooth out so many timing and schedule wrinkles and answered countless questions. She took scheduling mishaps in stride and was so kind with the lunch mix-up.

We were absolutely thrilled with the photos—each one was stunning, and she truly told the story of our day through her lens. Additionally, we were so honored and grateful that Kristen's husband joined us for the elopement. His support and enthusiasm was a wonderful bonus, and it made the experience even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better team to help us celebrate such a special occasion.
