Preface: Kristen recently photographed my baby sister's wedding during this pandemic, which was stressful for us in itself.
Words cannot even begin to describe just how WONDERFUL Kristen is. There tends to be an awkward period when first meet...
ing someone, anyone, until you become acclimated to each other...especially when they are meant to document one of the most important and intimate days of your life. With Kristen, that awkward period lasted all of one minute. She came into the bridal suite bright and high-spirited and ready to capture all the forgotten details and moments for us to remember forever. Her warmth and calm energy eased the nerves in the entire room, which was the most important for the ruffled bride. She was extremely professional and playful with all the wedding attendants, that when it was time for Kristen to leave we begged her to stay, not as the photographer but as a guest...she had become part of the family. She provided a BEAUTIFUL sneak peek JUST the morning after the wedding, and had the entire collection of wedding photos to my sister before the promised date. Kristen's her heart/passion is in her profession and it reflects in her photographs. She captures the overlooked details and missed moments among the chaos of a wedding so her clients may experience them and have those memories to share with everyone. Like I said...words can't express the gratitude and appreciation I feel for her and really how much I like her in general. . From the moment we met on zoom for a consultation to the wedding day, you have been so kind and have brought such a positive energy. You helped me feel so calm with the timeline knowing that we would get to everything that we wanted to on our wedding day and helped capture all the moments we wanted as well. Kristen is the absolute best! I must have looked at 50 photographers before finding her. I loved the way she edited her photos and when I described what my wedding esthetic was, she went out of her way to show me pictures from previous weddings...
that looked like what I was wanting. I was SOLD. Communication with her was so easy and I felt that she guided me in what package would suit me best. The day of the wedding she made my husband feel so comfortable (he hates having his picture taken) and he even made it a point to tell me the next day about how great she was with him and his groomsmen. Her energy made everyone smile.
The next morning I was surprised with a sneak peak! The pictures were stunning which made me even more excited for my final gallery. Less than 4 weeks later I was sent an email with my entire gallery! I was shocked at how many pictures I received in this gallery. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. I think I've looked at them every couple of hours. My friends and family can't stop texting me about how beautiful the pictures are and how many amazing candids she got of everyone plus all of our guests.

She gives great tips on how to pose so that you looked relaxed even if you are chanting awkward panda to you and your partner. The pictures we got from the engagement shoot were awesome and just a taste of what was to come from the wedding day. Since we had done an engagement shoot it felt like she was our friend by the time the wedding rolled around. Kristen and her second showed up on time and kept the groom occupied will I had an issue with my dress before the first look. Kristen was very flexible with us when we wanted to add shots that were not on our list that we had forgotten to put down. Through out the night it felt more like she was a guest rather than some outsider taking pictures. At the end of the night my brother even added her to the final group dance. Kristen was speedy on her sneak peeks after the wedding she had said 2 weeks but 2 days later as we were about to board the plane for our honeymoon we got our first looks of the photos. It was an amazing way to start off our honeymoon. She even delivered the final photos early as well. She gave us pretty much every photo taken that night. We loved seeing all of the candid photos along with our portrait photos. Through the gallery Kristen makes it exceedingly easy to order amazing quality prints of any picture in your gallery. SO far we have order thank you cards and a single print and we cant wait to order more.

There was no one from the venue at our wedding site to assist me in getting ready and she was right there asking me what I needed which was such a relief. She made me feel supported that whole time which meant a lot because the process leading up to the ceremony felt so haphazard. On top of that, she was just so much fun to chat and joke with during our post-ceremony shoot. Kristen made us feel totally comfortable and we got along incredibly well. She gives very good direction; she definitely knows how to coax emotions and expressions out of you and captures them beautifully. There are some pretty funny memories we have now because of that. She even stayed to have a glass of champagne with us after all was done! We are really happy with our wedding photos and our fantastic experience with Kristen.

My husband and I are awkward in front of the camera (I know, I know sooo many people say that), but seriously, having Kristen as our photographer was like having someone you've known forever take your photos--so. much. laughter which made us forget (mostly) about how we are awkward with poses.
Our sunrise engagement session quickly turned into an extended morning fog, but that didn't stop her from creating something so beautiful out of a dreary day. She was so patient and high spirited that early morning as we waited to see if the sun would shine. Then of course, fast forward to having to change gears a few times due to an unfortunate pandemic. She was extremely flexible and understanding with the constant changes.
Our micro wedding was in my uncle's backyard, smack dab in a typical suburban neighborhood, with a friendly neighbor mowing down his backyard during the entire ceremony. Kristen managed to capture so many little details and moments in a short amount of time. So many people commented with surprise that from the photos, you couldn't even tell it was in a backyard surrounded by houses. We are forever grateful to have picked Kristen as our photographer to capture memories from a crazy year!

Kristen was our answer! She really knows how to work with different skin tones so both are complimented and look amazing, no light ghost faces or dark shadows.
